After 9 years of going here my wife and I have had enough. I have spent between $ 300-$ 450 every year at the sausage haus and do have the receipts to show for it. Quality was good for a long time but about 3 years ago I notice a lot more bone in my ground burger and sausage. I did mention this next year to the«guy» I generally see every year. He told«me» that their reputation was second to none and so was quality control. So I continued to bring my deer meat to them and in subsequent years quality has worsened. This year all my ground burger is white. Like pork meat white. Plus in cooking the last batch of deer/burger(2lbs.) I pulled out of the meat, 14 full size deer hairs. Between that and bone/cartilage in the rest of the sausage I’m done. I wish I could have communicated my concerns better with the«guy» behind the counter but he acted like he was the only show in town. Terrible, terrible attitude. I loved this place. Looked forward to going there every year after deer season. I am a creature of habit and now I WILL look for a new place.
