I love this pizza shack; simply put. First things first, it’s a locally owned pizza with employees that are ready to satisfy your every need! I recommend coming here on a Tuesday as there is a 40% discount on all large pizza(which is significant). The place itself is tiny. Not a lot of room once inside. However, the food on the other hand is priceless. Not much else to say about it. As soon as you open the pizza box you instantly get a fresh smell of pizza that has been made with both quality and time in mind. It’s a great place to gather around with family and enjoy lunch/dinner with the time you have. Will be coming again very soon Keep up the good work Ciro’s!

My boyfriend and I went there for lunch and were met by friendly employees and smart interior design that says«nice but not pretentious.» The food is delicious with a variety of topping choices that you just don’t get at any other pizza joint around. Cannot wait to go back!

This place is on another level. 27 years of experience and you can taste it in the quality ingredients, to the correct way the pizzas are docked and cooked to the right doneness to hold up to the toppings on your pizza. Theirs is THE premier pizza spot in the Citrus Heights w out question. In fact, you would have to look pretty hard to equal CIROS. Im a sucker for a mom and pop, as well as supporting local businesses. Couple that with a distaste of all things corporate/chain restaurants am Makes me a decent judge I think

This was the best salad bar I have seen in a long time. Was filled up with fresh produce and many choices. Very very clean. Will come back again. Owner Rob came out and talked with myself and family seems like a great family owned establishment even though he likes the Dodgers!!!

We just moved to the area recently & decided to try it. We were pleasantly suprised to find this gem in our neighborhood.

We used to really love Cirros, but lately we have been really disappointed with their service and quality control. We typically order once a month or so as a treat, but about a year ago we had an extremely poor experience with a delivery driver who asked for an additional tip above what we’d already tipped(15%) and since then have cut back on our frequency; Even though the GM made up for the delivery incident. There has been something wrong with our last 4 orders, everything from toppings we didn’t order being on our pizza to missing toppings to forgotten dipping sauce. I finally called them on it tonight considering my order was almost $ 60! I called and the person who answered was apparently The«manager», but aside from her language barrier, she couldn’t understand that they messed up the order and tried arguing with me about it at length! after 15 min of me trying to explain that they messed up and that what they sent we couldn’t eat due to food allergies, she refused to even a partial refund and said«fine, if it will make you happy» and wait another HOUR, she would remake it, but we weren’t allowed to eat the half of the pizza that was correct. What ever happened to a simple, sincere apology and kindness in customer service. I’m just disgusted. I don’t think we will be ordering deliver again any time soon.

I didn’t know anything about this place prior to eating here with my family. We were just driving home from a day at the park and decided to stop for some food on the way home. I was very pleasantly surprised! The price was a bit high, but the salad that we ate while we waited was fresh, crisp, and delicious. Our pizza had a very generous amount of toppings, was cooked perfectly, and came out fast. There were four people in our party, we ordered salad bar and medium pizza — we took half the pizza home! Very good value!

My boyfriend and I come here almost weekly for date night and it’s always perfect. They make pizza the way we want it(no matter how difficult, as we have conflicting tastes) and the girl at the front counter is always very sweet and welcoming. And she always remembers us and our order almost perfectly, which goes a long at towards making us feel appreciated. The goofy sticks are to die for, and their employees are very attentive, whether I ask for more ranch or he asks for more peppers. I am so great full to be able to have this place as a special spot for us to unwind after a long week and pig out. Highly recommend it to anyone I talk to.

This place went above and beyond! I ordered a pizza to be delivered for my sons birthday, Ciro’s is his favorite! I live in the bay area and was worried about how to do that. I called and spoke to Reuben, who explained that the drivers now run the cards in person, but I could order online and could pay that way. He gave me the website info and it seemed pretty simple. BUT… my son’s apartment was just out of the delivery area, so I called back — Reuben said don’t worry — just put Ciro’s address in, and give him my son’s address — he would ensure that the pizza was delivered on time. WOW — I just don’t see customer service like that any more! the pizza was delivered on time, hot and according to my son — delish! Thank you so much for making my sons birthday perfect!

I have been a customer since Rob opened this location with his brother. It was the best pizza I had found since knowing a family from Sicily in SOCAL, but has sadly declined in the last few years. Even if you ordered the largest pizza in the beginning it was burnt half of the time and disappointed a few family gatherings. It used to be high quality and very tasty even though it was expensive. I raved about it when I met my girlfriend a couple of years ago and she was not impressed when we ate there. The inconsistency has gotten so bad I feel like I’m taking a chance when ordering from them. Now that I travel for my job I have eaten pizza all over CA and have been impressed by several incredible pizza places. The owners don’t have any involvement with running the restaurants anymore and nobody cares about quality or service. ORDERATYOUROWNRISK!!!

Had heard good things about their pizza a while ago but was sadly disappointing with what we got. Perhaps something had changed from when we heard it was good. The pizza seemed to have no sauce and no flavor. We got a large combination and a stomach bug to go with it. For it being a combination you’d think there would be flavor but sadly there wasn’t. We thought oh well, we just won’t order there again and then the after math of bubble guts going on two days now! Something was obviously wrong with it to make us stomach sick. We will never eat there again and suggest to anyone that does chose to eat there to proceed with caution and prepare to be sick for two days and waiting to see its going to continue into tomorrow :(

I’ve been coming here for 10+yrs always delicious pizza but a bit pricy. Not that it’s not worth it, the ingredients are quality, and they’re never stingy with toppings. –1 star for okay customer service, they always seem to be under staffed, however, today pick up was quick, in and out. :) Also, since the summer this place got a much needed makeover. They did a nice remodel, this place looks way better and it’s very welcoming. Perfect for groups or couples and families. Definitely worth a try.

Ciro’s is always a favorite when I am wanting a pizza that has more of an artisan authentic taste to it. Typically it’s the pizza I would buy to reward on special occasions or bribe my employees with(it’s a good tax write off) or just when I am seeking something unique and different. Although they are more are expensive than most pizza places, in my experience they are worth it because they offer something different, tasty and distinctly flavorful than most pizza places which too me can taste fairly similar. If you are seeking something better than the normal, standard even boring pizza options that are mostly available in the area or surrounding area. Ciro’s is a good option depending on your budget. I like a good crust and they seem to have one of the best I’ve tasted. It’s flavorful, crisp and typically has generous outer crust. The toppings are always fresh and typically are more than adequate. Consistency of toppings can be a slight issue on a rare occasion but that applies to most pizza places I’ve eaten at but overall they are pretty solid in my book. The sauce is also very good tasting, to me it seems slightly sweeter less acidic than many places with a good favor of basil in the background, very tasty, it’s certainly not your run of the mill tasting sauce. I am guessing the make it themselves but I really don’t know, but it’s very good. You can expect a very flavorful pizza, good to great tasting toppings that are reasonably piled on, a tasty and original sauce along with a distinctively tasty crisp crust not found at most pizzerias. Good service, they get your order right and are easy to deal with. And they are accurate with pick times. I am neither blown away by there service nor am I amazed by it. They do what they say though and that’s good business. Generally I’ll order for pick up so I cannot speak to the inside dinning experience. Out of many years of being a customer(about 20+ I think) they have been very consistent in their quality and taste and offer a nice option if you are seeking a more premium type of pizza. outside of the typical franchised pizza options available. A pizza that actually looks and tastes like it’s one of a kind and not some cookie cutter type of pizza, give them a try.

This place is amazing. I have been to quite a few functions with friends here and can honestly say this is the best pizza in town. Plus, the manager and all of the staff here are so friendly!!!

Kinda wanted to try this place out, but after reading a few reviews saying it’s undervalued/overpriced I decided to check out their menu on Unilocal.Oddly, they have the full menu, but all items say«price varies». Wtf? The price on your pizza varies? Seems like it would be better to lock down a price, since the specific ingredients are listed, and put it on your menu. lol Better customer service. **** Update ****- got a message saying«price isn’t set until the order is made» «toppings, delivery and size» factor into price… BUT the menu lists signature pizza’s with names like Mountain Top and Gold Rush along with their specific ingredients. Like me, I’m assuming most people have ordered a pizza at least once in their life. And when I call to order, let’s say a $ 6.99 «Pepperoni» pizza, I expect adding mushrooms and peppers to that«Pepperoni» pizza will cost more — same with delivery; that all could go unsaid. So if a menu lists a specific pizza, with specific ingredients, it seems like good customer service to list a price for that specific pizza. minus delivery. If that pizza is offered in various sizes, it would be good to list that too– with prices. Do you really need to regularly make significant changes to your signature pizza’s? Maybe it’s time for you to revisit your menu.

Their pizza actually made us sick. We ordered a mountaintop just like we always do. We paid the expensive price we have learned to deal with for the awesomeness. When I got it home and fed the family, we realized that the toppings were all raw, and then we took a bite and the dough was half cooked. We stopped eating and called the restaurant. The nice girl said they could make us a new pizza but we were settled for the night so asked if we could just get a fresh one next time. She said she couldn’t really help me. Rather than helping, she actually gave me the corporate office number! Fast forward to the next day. We were all sick to our stomachs! I actually called from the bathroom and reached a machine on which we left a message telling whoever listens that we got sick and wanted to talk with them. UPDATE: The Manager did call us back.. I will add more after we speak with him. Added two stars back. if things turn out better, we will add more stars! UPDATE #2: The manager and I chatted fora bit, and we worked it all out. 4 stars, 1 for that particular pizza, and 3 for their taking accountability. Rare these days!

I waited on hold for 15 minutes without a response. I called back and made a phone order. The place is undergoing construction kinda a mess. I wasn’t recognized for like 7 minutes no lie. No biggie as they appeared short staffed and busy. It’s Hades hot in there minus the ac and then my atm card wouldn’t work because I didn’t have my ID. We used another card but waited more because a family hasn’t received their salads so I stand here waiting… I’m hoping the calzones are good so I can give some stars to this place. I’m not hard to please so this is weird. Back at the office now, please hold as chomp this thing. Okay that was pretty good. I think they could use some dipping sauce like marinara or ranch. Anyway I’ve been to ciro’s in Folsom & it seems to run much better. I may comeback to see the remodel and drink Sierra Nevada with a different calzone(I had the veggie one). Yes beer might be the missing link.
