Do NOT ask if you can use the restroom. You can’t. I’m serious. They will scowl at you.

Some items are a little over prices. The stock is pretty great, most stuff is good quality. Although this is dependent on who donates to the store the prices could be adjusted a little better. The staff is really great here! All of their employees have been very friendly and conversational towards me. Only big qualm is their lack of parking!!! I think theres room for all of the businesses in that lot to build on the other side.

Goodwill s new pricing is proof of their enterprise mentality. Clothes marked up by brand. Not by just being a jacket or shirt. Ect. I think they are trying to get their money back. Employees are stuck at min wage. Most aren’t happy. No benefits no raises. No vacations. Told to ask for donations at register. I have rarely seen disabled worker s there but at times they have to just to be legit for government grants and write offs. Personally i think its genuis. No one really knows who owns goodwill. But profits are in the billiions I’m sure. People don’t realize they get free rent and utilities paid via government

Goodwill in general is expensive for donated items the CEO is making over a million dollars a year off of donated goods. One wonders how many disadvantaged adults he actually employees? But the again one mans junk is another mans treasure and I guess he has found his pot if gold. As a charity there are other worthier causes like the discovery store for the American Cancer Society or the Urban renew stores that benefit homeless mothers and their children

Friendly service and a super big goodwill. I love that they use the special needs community to stock and greet. Will definitely be going back because I still haven’t found a tea pot! But we did get some cool pyrex stuff. Big selection of clothes too.

Aw come on, Goodwill in Citrus Heights! A week ago I donated a big bag of my clothing to you. One item I donated was a silk shirt I bought at Eco Thrift(just up the street) for 99 cents. I wore it once, and decided to pass it on. Today while shopping at this Citrus Heights Goodwill, what do I see hanging on your rack? My Eco Thrift silk shirt, that I donated for free, the one that only cost me 99 cents… but you, Goodwill, put a $ 9.99 tag on it. Seriously? You are going to sell that shirt for $ 9.99? Goodwill, this is what I’m talking about! This is ridiculous!

You never know what you’ll find– they have a lot to look through and sometimes you can find some treasures. This isn’t a quick trip store, you have to be willing to bargain hunt, but you can find some great stuff!

many, many bargains here over the years. Too many to name. Its in a good area for donations. They have a lot of vintage things that appeal to my Inner Kitsch Goddess. Their kid’s area is nice, lots & lots of clothes. Toys are so-so, lots of shelving but I’ve found not too much from the hunt for our kids there. This store is mainly about clothes and some furniture. There’s many kitchen items, dishes, pots & pans and the like too. The store itself is one of the nicer ones so its nice to have an hour plus to actually paw through leisurely, otherwise you might find yourself rushing through.
