I’ve been going to this quilt shop for a number of years and have never been disappointed. The ladies there are super nice, always help with questions on fabric choice and there’s always a fun, creative atmosphere. I love this place!

Love coming to the shop with my mom to buy quilting supplies and attending the classes. The owner Marie and employee Kate are very welcoming, helpful, and fun to talk to. They have a huge inventory of quality fabrics for all your quilting needs!

I have shopped here several times. I find the shop pleasant and the staff helpful. They are willing to answer my questions and make good suggestions. I find the prices to be about average for a quilting shop. The shop is small so not a ton of fabric however more than enough to complete some nice projects I generally find all the notions and and fabric I need in one trip. They offer a variety of classes, that while I have not participated in them some do look interesting.

I enjoy this little shop, the bright aesthetics, friendly people. My favorite fabric is decorative to stretch over canvas for wall art. My new batik is vibrant, with no apparent repeat and a good purchase at $ 30 for my 4×5 foot canvas. The previous selection looked like a watercolor of a Caribbean sunset. What a fun way to revitalize a room!

Runs With Scissors is one of the nicest quilt shops I visit regularly. I stop by every time I travel through town and love the selection. The red headed owner is the perfect hostess and always makes me feel right at home. She always has great suggestions and seems really knowledgeable. The vibe in this shop if fun, and if you’re a local looking for a good time, the ladies here are a blast. If you’re a visitor, they make you feel like you’re one of their favorite customers. I really can’t say enough good about this gem!

I AMNOT confusing Runs with Scissors with any other shop. And I am speaking about Marie, the owner. Yes, the owner has«taught» the class from hell that I referred to. Perhaps«taught» is not the right word, but she was clearly in charge and watching over the class. It was a sit & sew where everyone worked on their own projects, so no real teaching actually occurred. And I think she was just covering for the assigned teacher. Perhaps you disagree because you enjoy the gossip. I don’t know. I don’t like it. The atmosphere and conversation led by the owner was extremely toxic and upsetting. My friend still talks about that awful class to this day, nearly 9 months later.

Runs with Scissors is the cutest little store you ever did visit! SO many fabrics to choose from, Marie is so very helpful, patterns, cards, etc. I would recommend anyone needing fabric to visit here first… it wont disappoint!

Runs with scissors is a great place for fabric. They have all the latest Amy Butler prints and a few good Moda prints as well. While they are a little more expensive than some quilt shops they make up for it in selection and competence. The staff is always really friendly and all seem like pretty experienced sewers. Although they cater to the quilter you will find some good patterns here. Sign up for their newsletter and receive advanced notice of sales.
