passing by looks cute. There was 2 people ahead of me. After I started seeing the people that came in after me getting their food, I went to the counter and asked about the food. The response was that its cooked fresh takes appox 10 mins, I asked why I have been waiting for 25 mins, the response was there answer was that the other folks ordered 1 burger and I ordered 2??? what??? Not sure if they have fountain drinks, but mine was flat and slightly warm. Burger was pretty charred on the outside, no flavor, and the fries were boring, seems they forgot my seasoning on both the burger and the fries. I totally support local business’s which is why I stopped, but I choose not to go back.

Great burger! Me and the child loved it and the fries! People need to support this local establishment. They are making good food

Just not the same, it wouldn’t have been as bad if the food didn’t take 15 minutes then the burger was cold and burnt.

Was always curious about this place and finally tried it. Not a place I would visit again. There was only 1 other person there waiting for his order, which took so long for him to get. After what seemed like an eternity, 20 minutes really, we finally got our order. Fries had been prefried several times before and over cooked which weren’t even hot! Burger was ok and wished we could have ordered a shake but the machine was broken. I bet it’s still broken and it’s been a couple of months. Yes it’s run by some young kids and the place is run down. Go at your own risk. I won’t be going back. Prices are too high for the place. It won’t last long before it’s sold again. I think my 7 years old niece can make a better burger and fries than this place.

WOW! 2014 and after, DONOT eat here if u value your TIME. There are literally CHILDREN running this place and it Wundt take anybody trained to work there properly 30 freakin minutes to make two burgers! At least not somebody sober. I WOULNTBRINGMYWORSTENEMYHERE! All good reviews are from long ago and have no bearing on this new owner who deserves to go out of business paying so little attention and effort into what used to be a reputable local establishment… no longer is that the case. Two girls no older than 15 – 16 were running the show(at a crawl) while the male employees smokes out back and did nothing whatsoever. I can’t stress enough how bad my experience was at this place. Owner should sell this spot to somebody w tiny bit of passion. If u really hate somebody however, this is a great place to recommend cuz they will EASILY burn an hour in there lol.

I was not jolly leaving this place. It took 30 minutes to get our order(2 burgers fries and onion rings) and when we finally got it the food was lukewarm at best. This place is being run by high school kids and it shows. My burger was soggy and there looked to be a half slice of cheese on it. Overall we were there for almost an hour… food tasted like Burger King, probably because everything was frozen.

I was excited to try Jolly Burger since it’s within walking distance to my current home. I’ve driven by it plenty of times and the reviews on here are good. Last Thursday me and my wife walked over with our newborn in her stroller to check it out. We get there and the place is tiny but does offer outside seating as well. I think we arrived at noon and there were a few people in front of us when we ordered. It took around 10 minutes just to place an order and I was already feeling that this was a bad choice. They didn’t give us the drinks to have why we waited either, not very happy with that. Some 30 minutes later we finally get our food and the newborn has already woke up. Slowest service ever! That’s my main gripe with this place. They need to be faster then 30 minute from entering to eating. That’s a joke! When we finally got the food it could in no way be tasty enough to make up for the wait. It was a tad better then average to me. The burger was tasty and reminded me of in-n-out burger. The drink had tons of ice and they don’t offer free refills. I also had onion rings and they were slightly over done. I still give them 3 stars because they are a small place and I can understand that it was somewhat of a busy time for them. I can’t imagine the wait when it’s crowded there!

Delicious!!! Got a regular jolly burger, French fries and a shake and everything was great! All menu items are reasonably priced as well. No where near where I live but if I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely come back!

Took my husband and kids. We had the jolly burger, fries, onion rings and banana shake. Burger was ok. A little on the greasy side. Fries as basic. Nothing to get excited over. Onion rings were not good. I prefer the breaded type. These were more like over fried. They did have this hot sauce type of dip for the onion rings though. That was good. But the milk shake was perfect! One of the best

Great burger with so much flavor. stop by if you can specially Tuesday nights for the hot rod show. I also had the chance to meet the owner who shared that they have the same receipt of 30 years now. hope it never changes.

I have had this place bookmarked since i began Unilocaling. Every time i went to visit it had closed down. Finally our stars aligned. Ordered the Jolly burger which is a ¼ lb cheeseburger. It is well seasoned and has a perfect burger to bun ratio. It was delicious and i think a good reference point is In n Out. The burger cost $ 3.85 so you will get value.

My husband and I had been here about a year ago and just yesterday decided to give it a second chance(because 1st time was not impressed) and we are happy we did! Discovered it had been fully renovated and under new ownership. The burgers were amazing! I have a hard time getting my toddler to eat anything and she ate her WHOLE jolly burger. My husband also loved the onion rings. We used to go to the burger place down the street, but I would have to say that Jolly Burger has won our business. I just wish they were open a bit later, but that will probably get worked out with time, seeing that they are newly reopened and I’m sure still trying to work a few things out. Go give ‘em a try, you wont regret it :)

I hate to do this to a place I’ve known my whole life, but I tell it how it is. This place has changed hands 2 to 5 times in the last 30 + years and the time I thought they would make it was before the last owners.(but what do I Know) Double cheese burger– 3.5 stars but some people might like more onion, lettuce, and tomato Onion rings and French fries — 3 stars Chili cheese fries– 2 stars and were some of the weakest I’ve ever had and with the first street ketchup packets that I noticed on the counter the next morning made me think there using smart and final down the street for their product. To the owner if you want to make it, don’t rely on the kids at sylvan for there ice cream buys, but make it a place people drive to and enjoy like back in the day.

Wow! What a great place! I had a vanilla shake and a jolly burger. The burger was really good and the shake was awesome. The owner is a really nice guy and the service is great. Definitely be coming back.
