Maintenance guys were helpful and nice, and the landscape upkeep was good but, every thing else about this place was bad. Do your research before settling on an apartment… I wish I did.

Wow. How funny that the two people who have rated them five stars have zero friends. I’m gonna have to call BS on that one… This is the WORST place I have ever lived, and I’ve lived in at least ten places so far. The rental process was pretty easy. We got in immediately, and they worked with us as far as credit scores(my ex had a bad rental record but they managed to pretend not to see it since mine was perfect). When I inspected the apartment before moving in, it seemed perfect. It was a cute little two-bedroom with vault ceilings, new carpet, and new cabinets. On move-in day, when we were all done, everyone else went out to dinner, while my friend and I came back with Starbucks. I set mine on the counter to turn on the lights, and by the time I found the switch, there were four cockroaches approaching it. I said, «F***, we signed a lease.» The good news is that my mom used to be a real estate agent. The bad news is that it took me a few months to call her. It turns out that because cockroaches are well-known to cause asthma and are a government-recognized health risk, they are a valid reason to get out of a lease without getting charged. When I brought this up to the management, they gave me no argument. We even got back our full deposit. In the meantime(before I called my mom), this place was just infested, and it was terrible because I was at the end of my pregnancy, and too clumsy to run from pests, and there were some big ones. I mean, we were extremely clean, and I saw a good twenty roaches per day. Aside from the roaches, the maintenance was terrible. They took days to come out to check issues. The general culture here was mega-ghetto. You can bank on seeing at least seventeen cop cars per day. But hey, on the plus side, you’re within walking distance of the mall! Tip to those who move out: get rid of as much stuff as you can, and use lots and lots of Hot Shot on everything you keep.

These people are amazing here. After living in Stockton this was such a refreshing place to come to! Sarah was AMAZING!!! She was so honest and helpful throughout the whole moving process I had checked out many other places and fell in love with this one cause of the management. Everywhere else seemed very pushy and salesy. I wouldnt go anywhere else and am glad to say I live here. Thank you so much ladies it is always a pleasure. If your looking for friendly people lots of amenities and great management then Legacy Park is your place!
