We recently visited this establishment(05÷28÷16) with a group of about 15 people. My husband and I have come to this place a lot in the past and we always enjoyed it. My husband purposed to me here about 14 years ago and we like to visit this place when we get a chance. We now live closer to the one in Rocklin and go there more often. This visit was very disappointing. We went there because my husband and I love to karaōke and it was my birthday. The bartender was great and the food was good but the KJ was a big Jerk! Not only did he show up a few minutes late and act like he didn’t want to be there but he put his list out no names were on it so we added ours and my friends added theirs and then when he started he called about 6 of his friends first then when we questioned him about it he stated they signed up in advance with another KJ! I’m not sure how one is able to do that and why no one else has that opportunity but I’m pretty positive that’s not how it’s suppose to work. Also one of his friends sang the song I signed up to sing so when my turn did come around he told me I couldn’t sing that song because it was already sung(mind you by someone that wasn’t even on the list to begin with). Then throughout the night he just put his friends in wherever he wanted they didn’t even have to write their names on the list. They pretty much dominated the KJ(it was his friends birthday as well and their whole group was getting special treatment). A few of my friends left as they were upset. At one point we heard one of his friends come up and he handed him the mic his friend then asked what am I singing anyways. He was just putting them on the list for whatever he/they wanted. I understand when there’s alot of people we all have to take turns hence that’s generally why they have a list for people to follow. It was just disappointing to take a group out thinking we’re going to have a great time and we end up arguing with the KJ half the night just trying to get our turns. Pretty bummed with the KJ and we won’t come back if that KJ is still there. Again, I will state the bartender was awesome she ran the bar smoothly, was pleasant and the food was good but the entertainment was where the problem was.

Had an impromptu night out with out of town family/friends on 02/13/2016. We have some great singers in the family so we decided Loree’s would be the spot. Online it says Karaōke starts at 9:00pm, but it really didn’t start until 9:45(ish). The monitors are small, but the atmosphere was simple(rotation for songs were fast). The only downfall I would have to say is the DJ handling the Karaōke was less than accommodating or personable(the guy looked like he didn’t even want to be there). During the last rotation at the end of the night I asked if I could squeeze in and sing a song, he said yes(even showed me who was left). His friend walked up told him what he wanted to sing and he let him(so I got skipped) Favoritism is what I would say(and we even put some $$ in his tip jar. His comment«it’s 1:03am I have to shut it down» Oh well. Our bar tab for the night was well over $ 100+(that was just mine/hubby), and I’m sure our other 8 family/friends spent a good chunk too. If we are going to go back there has to be some changes done to the karaōke gig — 1. Personality(get the crowd into it) 2. Be fair and consistent Otherwise, the bar staff were SUPERCOOL and nice, food was awesome(great price). Love the neighborhood feeling. Just won’t be Karaōke there anytime soon :)

Well, i just had my first experience here and I can promise you that I will never be back. I refuse to give an establishment, who could care less about customer service, a dime of mine. The karaōke dj was extremely rude, and a lot people never got the chance to sing, after being told they would sing, even putting their names down on the list. It was a mess. The group in the booth next to us were very frustrated as well. Like many other Unilocalers have commented, there was no consideration for the customers. There was a spider on our table, the drinks were horrible, two of them we didn’t even drink. We asked for a manager and we were told they don’t have a manager, just a night bartender. WHOMAKESDECISIONS? It was like trying to get information from a wall. And to top it off there was literally a power strip hanging off the wall next to my friends head, at our booth. DONTWASTEYOURTIMEORMONEYHERE. This place isn’t hard to beat. I would give it –1 star if I could.

Had an amazing night thanks to the great staff at Lorees. They have great food and yummy drinks. There was a bit of drama thanks to a group of drunk stupid girls. However the staff made sure the patrons were not effected and insured we had an awesome time. Thank You Amy, Sam and Johny.

GREATBARBURGERS! Fantastic Unfortunately, The Bartender and kitchen manager are very unprofessional, friendly for sure, but Unprofessional. And to be honest I believe they were under the influence of amphetamines and it’s very obvious but a shame because the food, while being bar-food, is VERYGOOD.

This place is just great, best tacos hands-down best beans and even the take-home make yourself Patron bottle chili was just fantastic, to those haters that are looking for??? I’m not sure and exquisite bar restaurant well this just ain’t for you, always nice, staff is friendly food is great, drinks are reasonably priced, hey it doesn’t come cheap owning and running a business. Will always come back, have never been disappointed… Keep up the great work guys since they tore down the shack in Rancho you’re my closest but will drive 10 miles out of my way some nights just to pick up tacos. If you’re looking for A quick place to grab a drink and some great grub you have found it don’t, let the haters scare you away.

A dive bar, and that isn’t an insult. You get what you get with the place if you don’t expect anything more. Beer selection was a little lacking, it felt very low brow and everything was the same. Full bar, but cocktails were improperly made throughout the night. Pool tables were well maintained and separated from the rest of the bar so they had enough room for players to not feel crowded. Plenty of outdoor seating for smokers, and fenced off to allow privacy from the main street, but lighting along the perimeter is solely white christmas lights(half of the strands were burnt out and off). But inconsistent signs point out that either: — the patio remains open after midnight but no drinks are allowed(sign located inside bar next to patio door). — the patio shuts down completely at midnight and no one is allowed on the patio at all(on outside wall just next to door leading back into the bar). Either case, neither was enforced and we remained on the patio well past midnight. Karaōke takes place inside the bar every night starting at 9:00PM(ish), so there is no escape except outside. Major areas of improvement: Get a variety of beers. The bathrooms are also horrible. There is only a Women’s room and a Unisex room(assumed that was the Men’s room because it has a urinal). The men’s room had no stall or wall for either the single toilet or urinal, and the lock on the door was broken. The door was propped open all night, so if a lady saw the unisex sign on the door and went to use the restroom she would either be treated with the experience of no lock on the door OR an eye full of a guy using the urinal. Also, I used the rest room when I first arrived, and the toilet was clogged after being used some point in the past… and the same clog remained unchained over the course of 3.5 hours I remained at the bar. As I said, it is a dive bar that has fallen into a rut and caters to the regulars from the neighborhood. Assume nothing more, stay out of the bathrooms, and leave your beer pallet behind, you’ll do just fine.

Ok… I didn’t know what that smell was until my husband informed me. What smell? The smell of urinal cakes, WTF? The«ladies» room was falling apart. I was afraid to touch anything! How does this place stay in business?

My 4th, & last, time there. Drink prices are inconsistent. Both time I felt ripped off was by Tiffany. Not a lot, but enough that it bothered me. I also feel that Tiffany could be friendlier. She’s a bartender in a service industry. I’ve gotten friendlier service from car mechanics. The other bartender is better. As for the drinks served in mason jars and the coasters made from old newspaper, it’s not horrible, but it is gimmicky. I would have given it 1 ½ stars if that was an option, so decided to round up.

Worst Service Ever. Omg every time we went to the bar and keep in mind ITSNOTTHATBUSY it took 20 plus minutes to even wave a bartender down for a drink. Seriously get off your phone’s and focus on your customers this is REDICULOUS. Shocked and appalled by the less skinny ones bad attitude and sloppy service. At least Tiffny paid attention to a degree and tried to make our drinks between all the other people getting her attention

I went to Loree’s for the first time last Saturday. I walked in, and was impressed with the layout. There are booths on one side and the bar is on the other. In the back there is one dart board and two pool tables. I wanted to like it and make this our new bar since it is the closest place to our home. I saw that they sold Coors Light by the tall can, so we ordered two and went back to play darts. So far so good. Well, the dart board was broken. After the first dart we threw, it would automatically give us a 0 for our second dart, so for every round, we could only throw two darts. So… darts were a bust. We go outside on the patio which was nice… then we were are ready for our next beer, we go back in for the next. Before we ordered our next beer, my boyfriend and I discussed what we thought a fair price would be, we thought between $ 4-$ 4.5. After I ordered the second round, I asked the price. $ 6!!! The gas station across the street sells them three for $ 5. That is a 200% profit. Not only is the mark up ridiculously high, they were coming out of a cooler. I heard other people asking about their drink prices and surprised at the high rates as well. I wish we would have asked about the pricing before we ordered the second round because there was no way we would have ordered it. We drank our beers and got the hell out of there. I have heard the taco’s are great, but I will never be back to find out. We wanted to try something new and venture out a bit, but we instantly regretted it.

Wow, $ 9.50 for a 20oz jar of bud light on a Thursday evening. The new prices at this place are ridiculous.

I have only been here once. The bartender was very nice and made great drinks. I cannot comment on the prices because I was treated to drinks. I assume they are average though, based on the looks of the place. I have not tried the food personally, but I have heard it is not the best. There was karaōke the night I was there, but they did not seem to have the best options of music, in my opinion. There seemed to be plenty of seating and there was also an outdoor patio. The reason for only two stars is because they had to close the bar at 10:30 pm due to a clogged/overflowing septic/sewage tank. Gross! This made for a very short evening out.

Ever have the urge to eat awesome tacos and belt out your best tunes in front of happy friendly patrons? If your answer is yes, then this is the place for you! I love that to do karaōke and I love the fact that, unlike most places where you are lucky if you get one song in after hours of waiting, at Loree’s I can usually get in most of my favorites, I sing my heart and throat out on most visits, and best of all they offer Karaōke 7 nights a week starting at 9:00 and usually going till past 1 a.m. Their tacos are great, with yummy parm cheese taco shells and a bucket of homemade sauces. This is the best place to go to meet your pub food cravings and to let your inner rock star emerge.
