I’ve been coming to this bar for over 3 years now because I loved their karaōke… I’m now looking for a new place to spend my money & sing my heart out because chasers now has new owners & they are no longer doing karaōke anymore. I know they have just lost at least 15 loyal customers because of this I can only hope they bring it back someday soon.

Went into chasers to celebrate my birthday on 3÷21÷2015 with a few buddies and had a very unpleasant experience with Jeff the resident dj and a unknown co worker of his. They told me I wrote a bad review on” Unilocal” Got in my face so I exited the bar to be attacked in the parking lot with a couple of sucker punches by the duo, resulting in several stitches and cuts on my lip, 1 staple on the back of my head, a fractured nose and soreness. Around 1245-100 I was brought by ambulance to mercy San Juan medical center and filed a police report after receiving painful stitches and staples as a result of the unprofessional staff of chasers. This bar can get extremely violent, with outta control staff/DJ’s and patrons. And will be following up on perusing charges and civil suit to follow, atrocious!

Love this bar. Used to go a lot more when it was called«Slingshots», but still my fav local bar. They have 2 pool tables, 11 or so seats at the bar, some tables and chairs, 2 TVs behind the bar(usually playing sports) and a couple TVs playing videos of the DJs music. Good drink specials on weekends, a DJ playing current music(nice and loud how I like it) and free popcorn! Who doesn’t love free popcorn?! They do karaōke and even have comedy stand-up nights a couple times a month. On the weekends this place really turns into a mini club. Lots of people and can get crowded(it’s a pretty small place), but I like the party atmosphere. There is a great mix of people, all ages and types. The bartenders are usually friendly and helpful although there is one bartender I could do without. My one big complaint: when it gets busy it can take a loooong time to get a drink. Other than that it’s a fun place with reasonable prices(especially if you get the specials)! I hear during the day/weekdays it’s super quiet and pretty empty… nice place to relax and have a beer.

My one complaint is that my hubby and I each had about 6 captain and cokes and could barely feel the booze(but my pocket felt the cost!) maybe stiffness of drinks depends on the bartender? Anyways, I do like this dive bar for the fact that you never quite know what you should expect when going! There is a diverse crowd of folks every night of the week, oh and did I mention free pool one day a week?(don’t remember which. lol). I come here from time to time to shoot pool, I just know to drink a bit before coming=)

I am an aficionado of local dive bars and this place is just nasty. 3 of us went in this past Friday around 5pm. Bartender girl was out front and says«let me finish my smoke before I come back in». So we walk in only to find frsh vomit in the mens room. Then she says«just use the womens». So then we go to order some drinks. A pitcher of domestic, single Guiness, and a shot of Patron. This came to $ 28, so I ask her how much was everything? She says $ 11 for the pitcher, $ 4 Guiness, $ 4 Patron, then I say ok where did the extra $ 9 come from? She literally said«well then just dont tip me» ! So after all of this BS we drank our drinks faster than we wanted to and ran out of that place!

My wife and my first time going here. We just moved to the neighborhood and saw this place and thought hey, that’s in walking distance. We enjoyed ourselves. The place seemed full of regulars who were very welcoming. While the bar tender was definitely all business he made our drinks right and quickly. We will most definitely be back again.

used to come in a lot when it was slingshots. as soon as it turned to chasers i was greeted by a dickhead bartender who acted like I was troubling him to get me a drink. Never going back again. Place was a dump to begin with.

I will give credit where credit is due. we were in and out of Chasers at least 4 times while I was home. They were nice enough to purchase a bottle of 7UP to keep behind the bar for us — as the sprite just did not cut it the 7&7. It appears as if they are making effort to clean things up and have plans to remodel in the near future. There is talk about expanding to the empty spot next door for some type of food service. I would not recommend it. not that type of spot. keep up what your doing. We will contine to spend time here during our dive bar crawls.

This is a friendly place. It really gets going on Friday and Saturday nights. They have a cool DJ spinning really cool stuff. Two pool tables and all sorts of drink specials. Try the gummy bears or a 14oz. kamakazie. That is what I am talking about. Karoke every Sunday and Wed. night and really great bartenders. Goota love this place.
