Ordered two well drinks and got charged 7.00, price for both is 3.25, okay fine… Absolutely normal. An hour goes by and we ordered a well whisky and coke and a bottle of coors light. I paid with a 10 and got 1 dollar back. Soooo… Wait a sec, is my coors light 5.75 or did you just bump up a well drink to that. Sitting here so confused. Bad business miss!

So aside from the awkward crowd inside. A lot of retired people who just want to get away from home. I was told that I had to purchase $ 10 worth of things to use my card, so I ordered an extra drink. And the bartender comes back and tells me her machine doesn’t work and I have to use to atm. Get charged a fee and then pay for an extra drink that I didn’t even want. I don’t recommend this place for anyone. Unless you are a retired 60+ year old who carries cash with you. Go to the couch lounge down the street instead.

This bar is friendly and fun. I have been going here on and off for years. The bartenders are great and make you feel welcome. My husband and I can always count on walking in the door and being greeted with decent and neighborly people. Drinks are good and well priced and they always stay up to date with new liquors and beers available.

Nick, This is a prime example of what I am talking about. I wasn’t even rude to Rhonda, I pulled her aside and told her that the ADA would have a field day if they decided to sue and that I didn’t want to see her get into trouble. Her attitude towards me was uncalled for whether or not I knew the people with the dog. What Rhonda did was ILLEGAL despite the fact that it was or was not a service animal. Her job, your bar, and your money was on the line. I didn’t scream that I worked for the county, she asked me how I knew the information and I explained that working for the county you learn a thing or two. I was polite, not loud, not obnoxious and told her I wasn’t trying to be rude but would not like to see her in hot water if avoidable. She could have handled the situation way better than she did. Now, I understand you’re doing whats best to protect your assets but maybe you should look into the situation before accusing the CUSTOMER who PAID for her services as being an irate customer. I have frequented your bar for a while now and have enjoyed EVERY experience up until this point. The racism IS an issue — as you can see from other reviews. By the way ONLYONRHONDASSHIFT have I or my friends who have been with me ever experienced anything negative. Your employee may have her regular customers but she is running off any new ones with her attitude. Bad business on your end. I recommended Steve’s shift because you don’t get the attitude or racist vibe when he’s working. He is a professional and a total bad ass behind the bar. I left an honest review. I hope others will recognize that your tone back is a prime example of what they will have to deal with when they enter your bar. I wish you would take this into careful consideration instead of running away more potential customers.

Awesome bartender. Karaōke. A pool table. What more could u want from your local bar? The whole place inside and out is singing Queen ‘We are the Champions’ right now. Very awesome spot. You’ll like it if you’re one of the cool kids…

This is the worst bar I have ever been to hands down. I was there with my Caucasian and African American friend. I am Indian. It started out as a pretty cool night until this racist group of bikers got there. I was outside with a gentlemen I had met inside. One of the women from the bikers group came up and asked us for a lighter. I said I do not smoke and was smoking and electronic cigarette. She responded, quite rudely, «Obviously I was not talking to you!» I ignored it, until my friends and I kept getting death stares from this«friendly» group. She flipped off a man I was talking to. The man responded with maybe not the nicest but well deserved response. He ended up getting kicked out and they got to stay. I finally downed my drink and we left. I am disgusted by the level of racism and discrimination at this bar. The bartender was no help with the situation at all. Well there you go, Racism, alive and well in America! Let’s just say this gets two big THUMBS down.

The most fantastic racist bar in California! It’s swarming with bikers who wear swastikas on their leather jackets. If you’re not Caucasian, and you’re looking to get killed, have a blast at this hole in the wall. Oh yeah, they have karaōke too. Just make sure you only sing rock and roll or country. Those bikers are very serious about that type of thing.

We came to have a couple drinks and the bar tender wouldn’t allow us in. As we’re waiting for an Über, the bar tender said we couldn’t wait outside because we had a bottle of water. He claimed it was because of ABC law. Because of a bottle of water? We won’t be back here. I’ve been through the Alcohol Beverage Control full day class and that’s just not accurate. We won’t be back here.

A dump. If that is what you are into, you’ll love it. Possesses all the charm of an overflowing sewer. This is a place that you order a beer and can’t drink it fast enough to get out. It is surprisingly small. I’m always surprised when people say they’ve been here and like it. What is there to like? It is small, dirty, furnished 30 years ago, and frequented by the county’s most wanted. It does have plenty of free parking. That is about all it has going for it.

If I had to imagine and design the perfect divey karaōke bar… this would be it. Small enough to be cozy and intimate, but not so small that there isn’t enough people there or that it feels crowded or cramped on a Saturday night. Awesome!

Great karaōke! We really like the laid back friendly atmosphere. The 2 bartenders we’ve been served by were seasoned and poured great drinks. Also the«regulars» are very welcoming! Quiet and no nonsense… love it!

I love going on Thursday nights for the Blues jam with Jimmy Pailer, Joe Lev, and Leigh Lunetta. The bartenders are friendly, and the crowd is always very cool. The only negative thing I can say is the N/A beer is too expensive. But since the music is free, I’ll still give 5 stars.

Love this place. Strong drinks, great local flavor and live music. One of my favorite dive bars to go to. If only it wasn’t so god damn far…

I was invited to go here for karaōke on a Friday night by friends who had been invited by their next door neighbors. Even though I don’t really care too much about karaōke, I thought it could be a fun night since I would get to see a new bar/venue and also get to meet some new people. So far, the night sounded promising. I was able to easily find parking in front of San Juan Club on a Friday night at 9:30 p.m. It’s the suburbs, so it’s across the street from a strip mall. I noticed immediately that the crowd was in their 40s and 50s and seemed liked regulars. I came with a lesbian couple in their 20s and I’m 31, and by the looks of it, we were definitely the youngest people in there. I can enjoy hanging out with people of all ages, but this place was meant for people 40+, so we were just straight up out of place. One of my friends wanted to get cider, but the bar didn’t have cider whatsoever, which didn’t impress us. The bar is also really small inside despite the large sign out front and there wasn’t a lot of room to move around or explore. Karaōke was loud and it was hard to hear the people I was with. We ended up leaving after an hour to go to Del Taco and Donut King down the street and that ended up being the highlight of the night. I definitely won’t be back.

I was terrified to come in here… But i live to tell the story. Dive Bar, with a friendly bartender, pool table, and some pretty entertaining regulars. It looks like it may be rough place from the outside, but it’s really not that bad inside. A few domestics on tap and a large liquor selection. Don’t order something fancy schmancy when you come in here. don’t be that guy. If you’re coming here, come with a good attitude, open mind, and a thirst for bud!

You need a place to drink, without dealing with any nonsense? A small bar, with a pool table and some friendly company? You need to relax, have a cheap drink, and maybe sing some karaōke? You got that here. I have absolutely no complaints about this place. Go here for a strong drink, some conversation, and a very chill evening.

Picture this… Christmas eve and your spouse is out of town on business until the first of the year. You are also new to this town and your entire family is in Southern California. What do you do? Get drunk, I say! My friend Gen and I went down to the San Juan Club because we really didnt have anything better to do. I had a few beers and chit chatted with a few of the regulars. When I was nicely buzzed, I walked across the street for some decent chinese food. Good prices on tapped beer. Only down side is there is 10 dollar minimum for credit cards. Thats 4 pints! Wait… Heck ya! That’s 4 pints!!!
