The manager, Mark, finally called me to talk about this. Mark told me I’d need a note from a doctor to «prove» I was poisoned by his food. I told Mark I didn’t give a fuck if he believes me or not. Mark then put me on hold three separate times before coming back and saying the store was getting busy. He asked if he could call me back later because he couldn’t give me the «attention I deserve».
I said that would be fine. That was 6 days ago and I have not heard back from him.
Mark doesn’t understand common courtesy, let alone customer service. I’ll never order from this Pizza Guys again, and I’m going to file a complaint with the corporate office.

Dishonest coupons
Had one that said buy one get one of equal or lesser value for free
I call and order 2 of the same pizzas, total was $ 23
I come in to pick up and hand the person my coupon and they knock less than $ 5 off the price

Okie, I went back and gave this joint another chance per Mark the MGR, he seemed very sencer and concerned about my last expierance. The visit was like night and day from the last visit, pizza was a lot better, way more tasty AND was made correct, thanks for making it right the 2^nd time around Mark, he really cares about his customers!

Decent priced pizza. But always remember that you get what you pay for. I like all pizza and eat pizza at least once a week. This was my first time ordering from this location and I ordered delivery. It took a lot longer than they said it would to get to my house and the pizza was decent but not as good as the Rancho Cordova location. I will prob eat here again. Like I said, good price but you do get what you pay for.

This Pizza Guys is great. I’m not sure if it’s franchised but this particular one is the best. The CA Garlic Chicken is great and a free soda with pickup. They make good pizza and are a clean place, What more can you ask for?

Ordered delivery pizza and also the appetizer Munchies. I have ordered the Munchies before and they were good and cooked fine and good (at least 5 times). This time, not so much. They appear undercooked to me. They are oozing and floppy. Obviously not fried long enough. I took some photos so see those to see what I mean. Yeah, I’m not eating them.
Also, I’m hugely annoyed because I called them to let them know. I was transferred to the manager on duty. Today is Oct 25, 2014. I called around 9pm. So, this manager was basically difficult. He said that I needed to order Munchies in the future as «well done» or something. So to get Munchies cooked properly, I have to specify that??? What??? Then, I asked him for his name. He said he could not tell me that! What? Why not? Its not like I’m some sort of internet stalker. All I wanted was his first name. He did tell me the manager above him would be back on Monday. Hmm. And I will probably call on Monday. I have had good conversations with the main manager actually. He may actually want to know about this whole thing but we’ll see.
Basically, I don’t feel like ordering pizza or anything else from here anymore. This is just in the stupid category of things. This manager also said to me at one point while I was just stating how the Munchies appeared to me: «I don’t want to argue with you». Hmm. I was not really arguing at all! I was just attempting to explain how the food item was not at all like I expected and that it was undercooked. He actually implied I was lying really. That was the impression I got. Dislike! Well the photos are here as proof.
Yeah, they are sending me another order apparently. But really the conversation was incredibly annoying and ridiculous. What type of thing is it that a worker can’t tell me their first name?
So, in summary, Pizza Guys is off my list of delivery food for now, maybe forever. There are other options after all. The manager I spoke to was really borderline rude to me. I honestly may dump the extra order since have heard horror stories of what some do to food when you complain.
Probably eating a sandwich later really as now I really do not feel like eating pizza or anything from Pizza Guys at all.
One edit: delivery guy super nice though. I really have issues with the manager on duty tonight though.
Also, really I should start recording my phone calls or something. Seriously. Because this was bad. But there may be laws against that (also may cost too much).
Editing to add this: The main manager called me (the one who seems to oversee this entire location, not the person who I had the difficult conversation with a few days before). He was polite and respectful. He does seem to care. I basically told him the entire thing, and that my main issue was how I was treated. I also emphasized that I was not calling to get a refund, free food, or anything like that. I said I merely wanted to let them know the Munchies were odd looking this time. He mentioned something about the food being ok to eat (i.e. it won’t make you sick) but I told him that wasn’t the issue (I never got sick from here and also do not feel the food item in question was going to make anyone sick). I really want to emphasize that my gripe here is about how I was treated on the phone with regards to customer service when I called a few days ago. I did give my two cents that probably the manager I spoke with needs training (i.e. pretty much never say to a customer «I don’t want to argue with you» because it comes across rather negative and accusatory). I guess I’ll up the rating to two stars since the main manager is good (he’s a five star guy) but the other guy is basically –10 stars, so its going to be at 2 stars now.

Quick to answer the phone to take an order, but can’t seem to get ahold of anyone for a complaint. We order from here A LOT. Lately I have been having digestion issues fairly soon after consuming. A few weeks ago, I thought it was just a fluke, but now this time, I wasn’t the only one with stomach issues all night. I haven’t the slightest idea what made me sick, since all I had was cheese on the pizza and the garlic sticks. And I know this was the cause because I hadn’t had literally anything else to eat the previous day. Buyer beware!

Really good pizza I don’t understand the reviews because every time I eat there I’m 100% satisfied with the results. There white sauce is to die for and it is pretty reasonable prices for families.

WOW! Best pizza ever. My favorite place close to my house i always get a half and half of different toppings and always a must artichoke fiesta yummmmm and something always with pepperoni. You guys are so good my little boy started to love pizza too ha ha!!! Best of the best pizzas!

We went to order a ‘build your own’ style pizza. There was no clear indication of toppings price but we never imagined toppings would be costing $ 2.50 each in addition to the $ 14 base. Why does it cost so much for each topping? Why aren’t the toppings priced according to their market value? I think its rude to demand the customer to pay for cheaper ingredients as though they are of the same value as the more expensive ingredients. I can’t imagine many people actually use this option. The man who took my order was confused and I had to explain the menu option. It was cheaper for us to order a pizza with more toppings on it from the menu.
That said, the pizza itself was absolutely delicious. It was very high quality. The base was perfect. The Teriyaki wings were the best wings we’ve eaten in this country so far.

We order from here a few times a month and it’s actually really good. Look online for coupons or they com in the mail quite a bit for the prices it’s really good and quick.

We walked in to order our pizza. They were very busy, but they were very friendly from the second we walked in the door. One of the guys came from the oven area to take our order. He was very pleasant and professional. We requested a few changes on their standard gourmet pizzas and he was very patient. He said our order would take 10 – 15 min. We came back in about 20 and our order was done and it was accurate. The pizza themselves were really good. We did the Mexican pizza minus the onions and added jalapeños. And we did the Tuscan Chicken, it was tasty.

Great place! These guys are VERY fast! AND, they give away free soda and breadsticks if you check in =)

I read reviews before ordering but could not understand why such bad reviews… well I found out. Yes I ordered two medium specialty pizzas, yes I used my entertainment book coupon for buy one get one free which clearly states you cannot have the free two liter soda with pick up. However… I also ordered two small orders of wings, a cheesee bacon bread and a salad. Total nearly $ 40. I asked about the two liter but kid at register refused. Now, I could have split my order and received the two liter soda free. I dont understand the logic? But i am assuring you I wont be going back. To the pizza guys, that 50 cent soda cost you many $$ in future business. Pizza is great, wings are good and salad and bacon bread fresh and good. Customer service, NO BUENO!

I usually always use this pizza guys the service always has been excellent and the pizza is delicious and inexpensive. But today I ordered a pizza and told them I wanted a xtra large half and half, two toppings and one topping. There was confusion bout the topping choices at the begining but was resolved by the ending of the order. My order was repeated back correctly and I was ensured my DELIVERED pizza would arrive correctly, well it didn’t and when I called back to notify them after the generous tip the driver recieved and decent bill I paid, I was told I made my order incorrectly and I was basically %#&@ out of luck unless I planned on purchasing a whole second pizza and I could be discounted $ 2… Thanks. Honestly I would rather pay an extra 5 – 9 dollars to order from mark and monicas and PICK IT UP myself. I loved the breadsticks but only enjoyed one slice of my my «half» and I will admit it was good but would’ve been better with my other topping… the customer service is decently NOT decent.
UPDATE: New management contacted me and apologized for the complications and made up for it as well with store credit. Very pleased with location with new owner, Mark. Doing a good job keep it up!:) even willing to drive to pick up my order!
