Definitely just an average breakfast place: very small inside so not great for big groups. I ordered the special, California Benedict, which came out before anyone else’s order and probably had been sitting for a while because it was cold. Everyone else’s food came out separately too which makes it hard to enjoy a meal together when people are still waiting and your food continues to get colder. Not cool! Also my sister asked the waitress what she recommended from either breakfast or the lunch menu and she was a little rude and didn’t know how to answer so she said she didn’t know. How do you not know your menu!?? Overall disappointed. The portions were big though and my sisters burger and sweet potato fries came out hot and were good so not an all together bad experience just won’t be another visit for me.

So happy we went here. I love breakfast food and they’ve done great with theirs. The food was comforting and they are on it with the coffee refills. Nothing will make me come back quicker than round the clock coffee refills. Go here its worth it

Really enjoy coming here for breakfast. Always consistent and good. Fast and friendly service. The food is good and served up in a timely manner. Michelle is usually my server and I can’t say enough about her enthusiasm and quick wit, makes you feel right at ease. Her cheerful way about her interaction with customers goes a long way in making you feel right at home. 5 star experience for me. Really glad this place is in the neighborhood!

Breakfast here is cheap and delicious! They have different breakfast and lunch specials everyday, plus early bird specials till 8:30 am. If you like supporting local business like we do you’re going to enjoy eating breakfasts fit for a king. Super casual with self seating. I usually get the 1 egg mini breakfast with 2 bacon potatoes and fruit(or toast) 5.95.

Pretty good local diner. We’ve lived in the area for 20 years and tried this place for the first time today. You walk in and there’s a sign that reads«please find a clean table and sit down.» The place was packed which is always a good sign! The portions are huge. The short-stack of blueberry pancakes were way too much for one so leftovers will be great! My dad loved his omelette and believed no milk or water was added to the eggs which he appreciated. The home fries are more like a crunchy smashed potato — really good. Service was good and so was the coffee. We’ll be back.

Great food. Belgian waffles are a little over priced but I love the home style food. Prices other then that are pretty good. Nice and friendly staff always.

Huevos Ranchero was barely acceptable. Chicken strips were too hard to chew through like they were microwaved too long and they came way after the rest of the food. Tabasco bottle was caked around the top… disgusting. Server was nice but a little distracted. How did anyone give ve it 4 stars?

This place looks small from the outside but it’s a lot bigger on the inside. I was craving pancakes and being lazy I didn’t want to make them. This place is pretty busy so we decided to try it. My pancakes were very good and I even got my oj upgraded to a large(mostly because she forgot the small) but I took it with glee. My other people got similar or egg breakfasts and they came out good also. I’d come back and not just for pancakes

Just an average diner. Good breakfast specials if you get there early. Weekdays from 6 to 8:30 I think. Pick 3 food items for $ 2.97. They are friendly and seem to the regulars well.

This little local eatery is a hidden gem in our area. Our go to for some simple, delicious, and comforting food. The boyfriend hasn’t strayed from the pancakes and can’t even finish a short stack of 3. I haven’t strayed from the biscuit special– 2 biscuit halves smothered in gravy with 2 eggs and 2 bacon and 2 sausage. And from my photo it looks like they incinerated my bacon but I asked for extra crispy and they serve it just like I like it! I hate limp bacon and I finally found a place that serves bacon like I like it! This is a cozy family restaurant where regulars are known by name and orders are memorized– love it!

This is one of those reviews that I hate writing, ugh! Cornerstone is located what used to be Po Folks, I really miss that place! We walked in on a rainy Sunday morn. Although the place was packed, we lucked out when two patrons left and found us a seat at the counter. As more and more people started trickling in, our friendly server told us that they never get this crowded. Since there’s only two chairs to sit on in the wait area, most of the people waited outside. After scanning the menu, we chose the country Benedict and ham and eggs. Both come with their home fries. I admit, the prices are cheap. I think both our dishes were under eight bucks. Our server was attentive, refilling our coffee and water. She told us that they never get that crowded so we figured that was the reason for the LONG wait we had for our food to arrive. Our food was terrible! The hash brown/home fry was like a slop of burnt potato, the inside was similar to a mash potato. The country Bennie had a sausage patty which we both didn’t like the taste of. Scrambled eggs were runny in some parts. The ham was also unappetizing. It definitely must have been an off day, just look at how unappealing my pics are! With the unexpected rush of customers, I’m guessing the attention to quality was ignored. We ate less than half our food and agreed it was probably the worst breakfast we’ve ever had. The best part of our experience was probably our server and the coffee.

Fast, quick service today and food was good and reasonably priced. Only thing I was disappointed about, was that the waitress didn’t come to re-fill my coffee once, so by the time my cup was empty, we were done eating and there wasn’t much point to flag her down for a re-fill.

Always, always, always have a great experience and fantastic food! Even when I get the standard bacon and eggs! Todays San Juan Scramble was just as amazing as every other thing I’ve had! Of course the service was fantastic as well.

If you like delicious, cheap breakfast food then this is your place. This little dive in Citrus Heights is right off of Greenback and San Juan. Parking is ample behind the building. Like any other good dive, this place has a loyal fanbase. Which translates to get yourself here early or prepare to wait. But it’s worth it. Weekly specials(all with mountains of food for under $ 10) and served by friendly, cheerful waitresses who will never let your coffee cups dwindle. Omelets are a big hit, but the potatoes are what keep me coming back. Hey, I’m Irish. I have mad respect for people who can make potatoes crispy without overcooking them. They are somewhere between hashbrowns and homefries. And never greasy. Bonus: they have linguica.

Excellent traditional breakfast. Their ingredients used –bacon, waffles, maple syrup, eggs, coffee are the best. The bacon is sliced thick, waffle is size of a large plate with fluffy butter, and syrup is not super sweet. I recommend.

My husband and I usually come here for breakfast. We usually go during their early bird special for their breakfast. They give a lot for what you’re paying. Very affordable, I recommend this place and i think they have great customer service I never have any complaints. It’s a small restaurant but still a great size. Of course we will be coming back again. No one can beat their prices.

This place is a little run down on the outside and on the inside as well but I think that is part of its charm. You walk in and as the little sign says, find a clean table and someone is quick to go and ask if you’d like coffee. Little tables scattered everywhere, sweet ladies working the place and a breakfast that looks and tastes homemade. The coffee tastes a little funky so I have to remember to skip that next time. I get scrambled eggs with bacon and home fries. The price is very reasonable and amount of bacon(thick bacon) is very good too. Yay! I’m definitely a fan!
