This has to be by far the worse experience I have ever had at a Demny’s. The service was horrible she sat us down then didn’t come back for 20 minutes. They served rancid tea and when I asked for another drink it took her 15min to bring it. Finally a hour after we ordered and I really do wish I was kidding they brought us our food. There was only 3 of us so it was not a big order, the food was cold. We had to ask for part of it to be reheated as well as ask for our side order. During this whole time we may have seen our waitress 2 we had to keep stopping another waitress to get what we needed. Then when we were done with our meal we still waited about ten minutes probably more and she still never came with our check. We walked up to the front where we were ignored to pay our bill. Finally another waitress came and said she had to go find the other girl to get her card what the heck are you kidding me! Save the time go to somewhere that appreciates your buisness.

The service is so slow you ordered and milkshake at the beginning of our meal and didn’t get it until we left the food was ok at best it was cold and they didnt give my a lot of my order overall it wasn’t a great or even a good experience

The WORST customer service experience. My family and I walked into an almost empty Denny ‘s for dinner and waited for almost 5 minutes just waiting to be seated(only 3 tables were occupied). Finally, the waitress responsible for the front of the house was able to pull herself away from a table that she was sitting and chatting with to acknowledge us and say that she’ll be with us in a minute. Eventually we get seated and was told that the restaurant was expecting the graduation crowds any minute so we needed to be quick. And with that said I expected her to check back about drinks and take our food orders… but no, that would be too much like right. Instead we sat at the table for another 5+ minutes waiting as she spoke loudly to other staff about the expected rush of diners. Ultimately, my family and I walked out of the restaurant. The funny thing is, I don’t think any staff in the restaurant noticed.

Service and food was good. We were acknowledged by 3 separate employees when we came in. That’s a huge plus. We were sat within 2 minutes. Order taken within 5 minutes. Friendly server Ayesha brought out breakfast within 10 minutes. Checked on us multiple times. Other severs checked on us too. Food was hot & fresh. Coffee was good and they kept it filled. Most Denny’s seem to always be under-staffed. I’m not sure why that is. This store did well with a small staff. Due to the area, there’s graffiti and beat up bathrooms. They were clean. It’s unfortunate that the public has no respect and they vandalize so much. Will continue to visit this location over the Orangevale location. The Orangevale location is so pretty and re-modeled, however, slowest service ever!

Please, for the love of Baphomet, hire more Saturday night staff. I guess it shocks the management that people will be out more on a Saturday night. I took my little sister for a late night snack of breakfast, we got there about 10:45, and around midnight we received the food. Between that time, I had literally asked for ice water 3 times, and when we got our food, still had no water. So, I was thirsty, my pancakes were ice cold, and my eggs were cooked wrong. And… STILLNOWATER!!! I told the bus boy to bring the waitress to us within 5 minutes. She did not. So, yes, fair Denny’s, my sister and I were the ones who dined and dashed… although if you consider each of us taking literally about one or two bites each after waiting over an hour without beverages«skipping out,» well… tough patooties

I went in thinking I was going to get a good breakfast. The location is really busy and the food was just ok, or rather meh. Bacon was rubbery, eggs were runny when I asked for over-easy, bread was cold and the potatoes where just OK. Wish that Denny’s locations had a lot more consistency in their food as it can vary dramatically from location to location. The one down on Greenback is a totally different vibe. The food is better and it seems to be much cleaner as well. I won’t be going back here again.

WORST Dennys I have ever been to! We waited 5 minutes to get a table when the place was pretty much empty. The waiter then tells me to pick a table… wait five more minutes for him to bring menus… drinks take forever… my club sandwich comes out looking destroyed… wait forever to get my check … Needless to say. I left zero tip. Asst manager at checkout didn’t bother to care why I seemed irritated… OVERALLWORSTWORDTWORST Dennys EVER!

Are you saying you can’t serve me?» «We may or may not be able to get to you.» «You won’t be able to serve me?» «Correct.» –ummm? How is this acceptable? LOL Turn and walk away. That’s the only solution. If they can’t handle it, shut it down. Simple.

It was so dirty in here and the staff was a mess. Staff was fighting, food was taking forever. The lemons they gave us looked like they were chewed. It was so messed up the cook even ended up walking out. Management was cooking the food when he walked out, no hair nets, and using her phone back there to call more people in. Our waitress though was very nice and and helped us the best she could. We wont be back here. This is the worst dining experience we ever had.

Food poisoning from their Club Sandwich. It made me really ill. I had ordered it before when I ate inside. It was delicious and the service was good. This time when I ordered to go the sandwich was awful and I regret eating it.

I’ve been to 1 Denny’s in NV, 1 Denny’s in OR, and 4 different Denny’s in the Sacramento area and this one by far is the worst of them all by a landslide and today was the 3rd strike. Came after Bingo(10:30pm) there were only about 5 other tables of people but 3 of them had already gotten their food and the other 2 had already ordered. The waiter got our drinks and order right away and it started out promising but it turns out it was all downhill from there. I ordered a sandwich with no cheese and a side of ranch. He brought our order to the table and on my sandwich was 2 huge melted slices of the nastiest cheese possible(swiss) and no ranch. He takes my order back then a little later brings it back but still no ranch so i asked again for ranch and napkins. 10 mins go by and no sight of him or ranch. Another waiter comes by and asks how we’re doing so I ask him for ranch. 5 mins later still no ranch. I see our original waiter and flag him over and once again ask for ranch. He finally brings it and goes MIA for another 20 minutes then asks if we want anything else. I ordered a mega Oreo sundae and 10 mins later still nothing so We just go to the cashier to pay because at this point we’re fed up and just want to go home. Sandwich would’ve tasted fine if it wasn’t ice cold by the time I got my ranch to make it not dry. I wish red robin was open 24 hours.

At first seing the star rating it did not look like my visit would be good but i was starving for some pancakes and a lumberjack slam. The server jeffrey p took my order quick and the food came out in under 4 min. The server always filled my drinks up whenever they where going low the staff was nice and friendly and was always working. My food was hot and delicious. This is my new dennys thank you for the great service jeffrey p

This place is awful, mainly because their cooks make everything half assed & take short cuts! I ordered the monthly feature turkey dipper. It was suppose to come with grilled onions on the sandwich w/stuffing, cranberry sauce and turkey gravy on the side. My husband went to Dennys and ordered 2 of the turkey dippers. They asked him do you want fries or onion rings… he thought nothing of the question was strange and answered. He brought them home, no stuffing, cranberry sauce, instead of the onions being grilled they were onion straws. Oh the gravy came in a coffee cup and it was country gravy not turkey. So I get this poorly put together sandwich w/hardly any meat and a side of onion rings. Im not eating mine, its not worth the calories. Tried calling to tell them bout the screw up, going on for 45 min line is busy. Happens alot when they are busy they just take the phone off the hook. Going in now in person demanding full refund & calling corporate first thing Monday.

Have come to this location on and off for years. and almost every time I go in I remember why I told myself to stop going there. Its the convenient 24-hour restaurant for midnight munchies or a drunk run with friends on a Saturday night. Other than the convenience, there’s really no reason to come here. The milkshakes are decent sized, I like that although competitors have shrunken the serving portion of their milkshakes Dennys still give you the fancy glass and leftover shake in a cold tin. But this location in specific is really just terrible. The staff is constantly changing, I went there 3 times in the span of two weeks and saw all different faces almost every time. The servers are slow and careless, the place is kept dirty and its difficult to locate and ask for something from anybody. Overall, I probably will never be coming back to this location unless I absolutely have to meet an old friend or relative there for a a cheap/random visit. I give this place a thumbs down they need new management.

I ordered the Avocado skillet. The chef {? } forgot the avocado. The server didn’t catch it. It took forever to call her attention to the error. The skillet wasn’t bad but the service was absolutely the worst in memory, and I am fortunate to eat out frequently. Watching the service was like watching a movie at a slow speed. My server spent most of her time doing something in a little alcove, while food and incoming customers backed up. Yes, the servers were slow, but I don’t want to be too quick to find fault there. IMHO there are serious management issues at this store. As I was checking out, I could see two employees moving around in the back area. They NEVER made an appearance to help customers. I asked my server if there was a manager on duty, and she said yes. I opined that one of the characteristics of a good restaurant is seeing the manager bussing tables and hosting when things got busy. I think she rolled her eyes. I have NEVER been enthusiastic about the service at a Denny’s, but this was the worst ever. I DONOTRECOMMEND !
