THIS IS THE CUTEST ICE CREAM SHOP EVER! The flavored are amazing and the price is very reasonable. I recommend everyone to try it! And awesome service as well! You may try the flavors if it is your first time!

Never crowded, great background music, really good European Gelato, and some good new Italian ice! It is definitely a great place to go with friends and hang out: P

Oh my goodness! I’ve been looking for an Italian ice/​Gelato place and we just so happened to drive by and saw it. Their vanilla soft serve tastes like vanilla bean and you can get two types of Italian ice with it! Not only that they have Dole Whip for those Dole Whip fans. Their gelato sandwiches are so yummy and you can also get any of their flavors in a taco if you would like. So good! This is definitely our new spot!

First time here a d i love gelato, the price isnt too bad, and the customer service is friendly and full of smiles i will definitely return here for my gelato fix

This place just opened in the puente hills shopping plaza next to chipotle and panera.
The pistachio and caramel gelato is really great with their soft serve. The only thing I would point out is that we thought it was a bit overpriced. soft serve with two small scoops of gelato came to $ 5+
Also, they play really loud edm music which got annoying after a while.
But oh well service was fast and their ice cream was decent plus it seems they’re open til 11 which is later than most gelato/​ice cream shops in the area.

My boyfriend and I were craving sweets at around 9−10pm and decided to give this place a try after Unilocaling a couple dessert joints. We were greeted the moment we got in and the girl that helped us out was really friendly, happy, and gave amazing customer service! I wish I got her name, but more cashiers should be like her! Definitely made my dessert run much more enjoyable thanks to her enthusiasm.
My boyfriend and I tried several flavors of gelato and Italian ice. We ended up with mango Italian ice and European gelato on vanilla soft served for $ 4. The European and mango had so much flavor– I loved it! The serving size was a little small, but it’s not too bad for $ 4. I’d come here again if I’m around the area.
The salted caramel gelato was really good as well!

I love that they make their own waffle cones and the prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend this place.

The italian ice was good. I got watermelon and sour apple. The sourness of the apple and sweetness of the watermelon was a good contrast. Not too fond of the service though. I was rather neglected for another customer. I basically had to assert myself to get my samples and my order. Personally, I prefer frostbites/​confetti. This place is good for the price though.

What use to be I Sweet Dessert House who was known for their egg puff and snow ice, is now a gelato spot right at my neighborhood! I couldn’t have been more excited when they finally opened.
Don’t get me wrong. I was a great supporter for I Sweet but everyone knows I seldom turn my back on gelato.
My first visit, all the workers were indeed young but very welcoming and offered sampling of their flavors. So we tasted–
European. Expresso. Vanilla. Strawberry. Sea salt caramel. Mango. Blueberry. I’m not too much of an Italian ice fan so I skipped all that and went for their gelato. Their gelato is creamy soft and very flavorful. A little pricey at $ 4/​a scoop but indeed worth trying them out.
I have now frequent this place several times and I am completely addicted to their European gelato. It’s primary flavor is cookies and cream with biscotti. It’s so amazingly good!
I hope they ll survive since there aren’t any gelato spot nearby.

After dinner at Honey Pig, my family ventured to this new Italian ice place near the Puente Hills mall for some dessert. Below Zero is in the same plaza as Panera Bread and Chipotle, next to Niko Niko. We were glad they were still open after 9 pm on a weekday. Their set up is similar to that of I-​Sweet, the dessert place that used to be here. When you enter, you walk past the booths and tables before you get to the ice cream coolers. You can start on the left and make your way toward the registers on the right. The first thing I noticed, and did not like, was that it was really dark inside. It also did not help that the servers were not friendly. We were not greeted even though we were next in line. This first impression was not going too well so far.
I was very unimpressed by their lack of flavors. The guy said their European chocolate flavor was most popular, but it not memorable. That may have been because he was so stingy with the samples. I barely tasted any of the sea salt caramel or espresso. I don’t know what his problem was. Since the gelato was a disappointment, I moved down to the Italian ice flavors. I usually get sour apple, so I tried that one first. That was a really big disappointment as well! It was not sour at all. After I tried cherry and mango, I felt like this trip was a huge waste of time and money. They are pretty pricey for such a small portion size. Take a peek at their gelato scooper… It’s so sad.
I’ll give them two stars for the availability of seating for both small and large groups. Chelo does not offer that, but they do offer better quality of service and product.

So excited that they finally have Italian ice close to home! Selections were okay… I wish they had more flavorful options but one good option they had was their sugar free flavors (which my mom got and loved it) as for me, I ended up getting strawberry and mango flavor with the soft serve on the bottom. You can’t say no to soft serve it makes it taste 2x better! I’m definitely coming back and maybe try their gelato but I’m hoping they have more Italian ice flavors in the future! Until then I’m sticking to my mango and strawberry lol.

Gelato is one of my favorties! Finally a gelato store opened in the area, however scoops were a bit small and a little pricey.

The European was my FAV and of course NUTELLA!!! I would definitely go here again if I wanted myself some delicious gelato. I tried the Lemon Ice and that was good too!

Thought this place was really good! I ordered the Italian ice which was refreshing and the soft serve was creamy.
I recommend the watermelon and mango flavor!
The only weird thing was when they asked if it was for here or Togo… Um it’s ice cream served in a disposable cup…

Came here on a Tuesday night at 10:30pm. The guy behind the counter was helpful in helping me decide on one of many flavors. He gave me samples to try with their cute little spoons. In the end I finally chose mango because mango tasted more refreshing and wasn’t too sweet. Maybe another reason was because gelato at 10:30pm…and I still didn’t eat any fruit that day so guess I conveniently got my daily serving of fruits from mango gelato right???
I also liked the gelato because it wasnt too creamy; it was just right. The European gelato was good too, so I’ll get that next time I go. Gelato definitely tastes healthier than ice cream, so I think I’ll be skipping baskin robbins and come here instead from now on. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

It’s nice to see some new non-​boba tea shops pop up in this neighborhood. I came here yesterday and it was an OK experience. There was only one other customer there, and three people working in the shop. The décor of the shop was interesting; I could see that they were trying to be creative and fun in displaying paint ball splatters on the wall… but the framed «paintings» of solid blue (literally, these were just frames of paintings with nothing but blue painted on the canvas) seemed like a waste of space.
Here’s my analysis:
+1: helpful, friendly customer service. The kids who worked there were helpful in offering us samples of the various flavors of the Italian ice.
+1: lots of seating available. This is good — as soon as I noticed that there was barely anyone in here, I thought: what a great place this would be for studying!
–1: limited menu. Yes they serve mainly gelato and Italian ice, but it would be nice if they sold Italian soda, juices, and carbonated water as well.
–1: portion size and pricing. The scoops were really small. I ordered a 3-​scoop Italian ice and it was $ 5. For that price, I could buy an entire container of gelato from the supermarket. I think they need to reevaluate their pricing or else they will not survive in this economy.
–1: music. A little loud and annoying (mostly EDM, but really loud and this makes me not want to stay in the shop to enjoy the dessert). This is subjective opinion, of course.
–1: no free wifi. This might change in the future.
–1: flavors of Italian ice. The flavors are all standard — sour apple, cherry, watermelon, blue raspberry, etc. The problem is, they all taste very artificial, incredibly sweet, and none of it actually stands out as a distinct flavor (they pretty much all taste the same).
–1: flavors of the gelato. All standard flavors, but honestly, there are more authentic, better tasting flavors of gelato sold at Target. Yes, Target of all places!
–1: marketing. This isn’t Italian at all. It’s frozen blended ice. Come on. :)
I’m the type of person who would give things a try before deciding that I would return.
I don’t think I would return, simply because of the issues mentioned above.

This place is delicious! I tried pretty much every flavor (because I’m pregnant and indecisive) and none of them disappointed! The European cookie gelato was by far my favorite, it tastes like a mix of cookies and cream ice cream and Trader Joe’s cookie butter, amazing. The Italian ice’s are all refreshing and perfectly sweet, the mango and strawberry make a dynamic duo
