2010? I wish I can give this place a 4 star however my first experience at that this place leaves me pissed off. bad service, and long wait. 7 combos on the menu and they can’t even get ur order right! Let’s start with it took them a while until they took our order, then waited for 20 – 30 mins until we asked about our order. The guy came back and practically said sorry for the wait, the order got mixed up and accidentally gave our order to somebody else(ok… Stupid) so he had to take our order AGAIN… Our drink came and the fries, but got one wrong, so he suggested he was goin to give us another bag of fries but it will take another 5 mins…“that’s fine” … And the fries never came… So after 10 – 15 mins wait our 4 order of hotdog started coming in one by one except 1… Waiting, waiting… And then after another 5 mins wait, it was the wrong order!!! I pointed out that it was the wrong order and they keep suggesting if we just want to delete it from the order… «I came here to eat, so I’ll wait» my friends started eating and the order still haven’t come not to mention the fRIES! So yes I got pissed and bitched at them and decided to just not get the hotdog… All they can say is «I’m really sorry, u have to understand that we are busy» … UNACCEPTABLE! then they were only willing to give us 10% off… BS! How Long does it take to cook a damn hotdog?! Not to mention there are ONLY7COMBO to choose from! 4 combos, oh wait! 3! Since i never got mine! and we were there for 1.5 hrs!!!

Their hotdogs are unique but that’s not what I’m reviewing for, I love their shake shake fries, its so yum, I think my favorite is the garlic one? Dont really remember. I just know its really cheap and it comes out pipin hot and super crispy! AND they give it to you in a bag, and it actually fills up the bag, like a BAGFULL, my goodness. fries overload here people. They are getting a three star from me for the newb employees. Came with my sister once to get drinks after eatting at Earthen and left without a drink because the server/barista took too long, nearly waited 20 minutes and still nothing. Anyways saw a sign they are relocating to the arcadia mall, cannot wait! now I can get shake shake fries without having to drive the distance! SWEETNESS!

Service: Excellent. Waiters even refilled my green tea. Granted when I went it was just me and my friend there in the entire place but they were friendly and very nice. They had promotional deals that allowed people to receive free dumplings and free phone charms. Make sure you ask for a rewards card because those things are so legit. They don’t give you the paper ones you usually get at cafes, these are actual credit cards. =p Food: Not bad at all. We received a free 3 pc gyoza which was just whatever because I live in monterey park and have had my fair share of gyoza. The snow was very good. I got the green tea snow with rainbow jellies, marshmellow and mochi. All delicious. No Complaints. The green tea snow actually tasted like green tea so two thumbs up for that ! The last thing I got was the okonomiyaki fries. It was just fries drizzled with mayo and topped with fish flakes. I wish they would list the ingredients in the menu cause when i found out there were fish flakes, I kinda cringed. Besides the fish flakes, my friend and I ate the whole thing. It was delicious. Parking: Parking lot! The place was difficult for me to find since the plaza was very dark and it was sprinkling. The only reason I found this place was because they had a whole bunch of promotional signs about their shaved snow and connected the dots. The sign was not visible to me at all.

Not very vegetarian friendly but has pretty decent combo dishes. You are bound to get something free or half off if you purchase something else. My girlfriend and I came here on a Thursday evening, empty with only a few people trickling throughout the night. Works great if you don’t want to scream and shout for the person sitting across to hear you! So Id say this place is a great place to catch up with an old friend without the place, only thing that would make this place better is that they need WIFI! I brought my lap top so my girlfriend and I can do some work but NOWIFI! So we really couldn’t get as much work done. This place also charges each person a $ 3 min. to dine, we only had $ 5.65 on our tab for a Shake Shake Fries(buttered) — taste like regular french fries nothing crazy except you shake it yourself, and my friend got brown sugar milk tea(buy one get one free) so i got the same thing — this was really good, not too sweet and isn’t crazy caffeinated like Half and half’s drinks! So because we didn’t match up to the $ 6 we asked them to just add the extra $ 1 on our tab. Thought this was a tad bit weird, but all their stuff was actually pretty cheap so we didn’t complain.

Was eating nearby at Earthen Restaurant with a few friends and we were craving dessert afterwards so we decided to check out Snow Princess since it was nearby. We ordered shaved snow: 1.) black sesame w/mochi and lychee popping boba. I do have to say we were disappointed with this one because it wasn’t as creamy as we expected it to be. If you have had Japanese black sesame ice cream, you would know what I am talking about. The flavor was just more icy and a not so smooth texture. 2.) horlick w/chocolate marshmallows and oreos. We had never had horlick before so we decided upon this flavor. It is a bit like Milo or Ovaltine but also stands out on its own. 3.) strawberry w/mochi and another topping. The flavor was good but nothing too outstanding about it. The okonomiyaki fries, however, were great! It was special and something you know you cannot get anywhere else. The fries were fried exactly to the right crisp, the toppings were just perfect! I would love to come back here to try their jdogs one of these days. For shaved snow, I would still prefer to go to Class 302 but for environment and comfort, I would prefer to go to Snow Princess. The décor on the inside is very modern and very spacious. They also have a tv to the right of the door that shows MVs and they also have music playing. The tables and chairs are of regular-size since it is not a «classroom-setting» so you do not feel crammed inside. — — — — — — — — — — - Two weeks ago, my friends and I were having dinner at Osaka Buffet and headed here for some drinks and to chat. They were having a «buy 1 get 1 free» drink! How awesome is that! Even though they have the«disclaimer» of charging every customer a certain amount, like Tea Station does, the second free drink can apply as an amount so no one gets charged if everyone has a drink! I ordered a hot Peanut Milk and a hot Almond Milk Tea. Yummmm… Awesome service. Part of the 5-Stars Program, Roomy and spacious. What is there not to like?

I went here with two friends David N and Pauline P over December 2011 once, so my experience here is limited to only that one-time hang out. I did enjoy it because it was affordable. Things I personally tried included: okonomiyaki jdog: topped with lots of bonito flakes. I didn’t really enjoy this though because I was expecting the«jdog» to be more like Dogzilla’s hotdogs. It was not as flavorful as Dogzilla’s nor did it seem very rich in ingredients, which was a bit disappointing. fries: comes separate from the flavored powder, which is great because you get to control how flavorful you want it… for me, I wish there was more flavor, but it wasn’t bad. tea: refreshing and sweet shaved ice: powdery and not sweet enough Unfortunately for me, the food wasn’t quite what I hoped for. Overall, food seemed bland and the shaved ice was also powdery, so I didn’t enjoy the texture either. Service was good though, and I enjoyed the cute decorations and the cool ambiance. +1 Star: Service is good. +1 Star: Cute name and decorations. +1 Star: Ambience was good… it wasn’t too busy or too loud. –1 Star: Food was simple but in a bland way. –1 Star: I like other 4-star type locations that offer a similar product over this place, so I’ll give this place 3 stars. P. S. This place is right across from Round 1, which is a super fun place to play at if you’re at snow princess for late night food/drinks and wanted nearby activities

Everything is super cheap here! A ramen combo is only $ 5.50ish that comes with ramen and a drink! The ramen is not the greatest but it’s worth it for the big bowl and price. Teriyaki fries are like $ 3 something and come out super crispy and fresh! Yum! The atmosphere is cute. Looks like it used to be a yogurt place. I came on a Friday night around 6pm and it was pretty dead. Weird. But I guess this place is a dessert place or lunch maybe. I really want to try the snow and yakisoba hot dog!

This place is super adorable! Even the work staff seemed that they popped out of an animé show. I love that their ramen came with a free appetizer and a free tea drink! BOOYAHH more bang bang for your buck :). I like that they had teriyaki french fries. I know that the idea of having teriyaki sauce and seaweed was a little odd but it was pretty god. I think next time my friend and I will try some shaved ice! :D

I followed my friends into Snow Princess after a belly-busting Sunday dinner. Our party took up the back table, which accommodated a party of seven. The menu had some interesting items, including the hot dog with soba noodles and the shaved ice or «snow». Generally I stick with a honey green tea, but I noticed that the place had brown rice tea so I ordered one. No free refills. aww lame… well at least my tea was only a buck fifty… ORDERED: — mango snow with colorful marshmallows, jelly, and a biscuit on the side. — yogurt flavored snow — sesame flavored snow the snow is super soft! It was so tasty! Mango was my favorite, though I did like the toasted sesame taste as well. I would have chilled there longer if friends didn’t have to leave, the place was inviting, as it had a very attractive set-up and it was kept clean. I give this place a ‘yay!’

Yummy shaved ice! Good choices of flavor and topping, we chose green tea flavor with Lychee Coco Jelly, Mini Marshmallow, Aloe slices, it was so tasty! We also ordered Takoyaki, it wasn’t good. I was surprised the menu was extensive, many choices of snacks and food, not just shaved ice, nice!

It was a scorching day and I was in the mood for some shaved ice or ice cream. anything COLD for that matter. I went on Unilocal to see what was in the area and Snow Princess popped up. I have never heard of this place, but it was in the 99 ranch plaza, which we were close to at the time. I was SUPER hesitant of coming in because there were no customers inside… I don’t know. I just don’t like going in to places where there’s no one except for the workers. BUT, the place looked promising and there were positive reviews on Unilocal so we tried this place. The service was super fast and friendly. They were helpful and asked if we had any questions. The menu was nicely organized and the pictures were appetizing. The banners in the front of the store was really attractive and is a good idea to appeal to customers also. The inside of the store looked clean and everything was new so everything was shiny! My boyfriend was hungry at the time and all I wanted was shaved ice… I still snagged a few bites here and there of what he ordered though. We ordered the princess snow with mini rainbow marshmallows, mango and aloe. Also had the beef okonomiyaki and the okonomiyaki jdog combo(with the spicy shake shake fries and cold black tea). As for the taste… I felt like everything was decent. The okonomiyaki was OK. You can totally split that with a girlfriend and share. The JDog was hard to eat because everything came falling apart, but other than that, the taste was OK too. The drink… I think we had passion fruit? or peach? Either way, it was a tad too sweet for me. I don’t really like syrup-y teas. Tip: Don’t get the marshmallows with the princess snow… it just downright tastes funny and it gets mushy when the snow melts. Next time we come here, I DEFINITELY want to try the dessert mini cup. It looks delish. I don’t think they had that last time or else we would’ve tried it. :P PLUS, they gave us a coupon for 10% off any purchase on weekdays only AND a stamp card for the princess snow(if you collect 10 stamps, you get a free snow on next visit). On top of that, the server gave us ONE iPhone stand because we purchased the snow. He gave me a pink one because I guess he assumed my boyfriend will give it to me ;) TEHE! I saw that if you purchase more than $ 40, you get an iPhone case– omg, NEXTTIME!!! I really like the rilakkuma one and the cat one: P

We passed by this place so many times but never had the chance to try it out. It looks like a mix of a wannabe dogzilla mixed with class 302. The menu is pretty much a mix of different«j-dogs» or hot dogs with a variety of toppings, shave ice with 20 different flavors and a large list of toppings, and a mix of snacks and drinks. Note they have a $ 3 minimum order per person so no you’re friends can’t just come to share one shave ice! The shave ice itself is soso, but the toppings are abit subpar compared to the likes of Class 302. The mochi themselves tasted wet instead of the usual firm chewiness of fresh mochi. The table next to us ordered the chocolate mochi and they left the ENTIRE chunk on the plate when they left… The lychee and agar were definitely also canned. Overall for the price this is abit under whelming. But if you must have shave ice and have no other choices it’s soso. The food itself is also pretty mediocre at best. The hot dog, fries drink combo is a pretty good deal though for $ 5.99 if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat. The seasoned fries have a wide variety of flavors to chose from. We got the garlic salt with for some reason you need to dump and shake in the bag yourself. The fries themselves tasted like burger king fries with the super crunchy texture. The hot dog bun itself was one of those Italian baguettes so it was abit hard on the outside but chewy on the inside. Overall this was an average place and ok if you have a large group of people to come hangout. They have alot of promo’s for free stuff if you spend a certain amount if you’re looking another incentive to come.

I don’t know. The only time I’d ever really feel compelled to return, is to get drinks to-go. I’ve been wanting to try this place since I’m crazy about princess themes, but the shaved ice really left us wanting more. 2 stars because their shaved ice DOESNOTCOMEWITHCONDENSEDMILK. And they do not have any condensed milk… ATALL. Anywhere in their establishment. Ugh :| Ooookayy. so the shaved ice ended up tasting super super bland. Also, their toppings are mehh. It can come with gross toppings like chocolate marshmallows or green beans, or you can pay anywhere from $.50−1 more for NORMAL toppings, like fruits. That knocked off a star because normally at other shaved snow placed these very same toppings are offered for free. I ordered a ramen which was pretty good, but the portion wasn’t worth the price. The spoons are supposed to be cute but just turned out to be awkward and inefficient. There’s one that’s supposed to be a heart but it just looks like an apple bottom. No one wanted that spoon so I was stuck with it): The garlic fries are super yahmmy. I love it. And the whole princess theme/décor makes me squeal like an annoying girl :) We had the Mango GT and the Strawberry Black Tea, and both were really good so I hope this is an ode to their consistency. The drinks don’t have that syrup-y, über sweet taste that seems to plague most boba places these days. You can actually taste the tea, and I appreciate that.

Uh no. Snow is supposed to be light and fluffy. The shaved snow at this place is dense, icy, and not very appetizing. Premium Toppings(which are not well-marked on the menu) cost $ 0.65 extra so my nasty snow ended up costing $ 8. I was super disappointed. The bf tried some fries, which he said were not good either. I’d recommend i-Sweet for snow.

So I haven’t tried the shaved snow yet… «What? And you’re reviewing a dessert house WITHOUT trying the dessert??» …Hush! I had other goodies, okay?! Shaved snow will have to wait… but I got the japanese style hot dogs instead. The okonomiyaki dog, actually. Came out looking like a mini football with fish flake«fans» waving in the air. The okonomiyaki sauce was delish, as was the hot dog itself… slightly crispy on the outside, fragrant, tender goodness on the inside. Drooooool. The fries were definitely not soggy; a bit oily(sure did damage to my napkin!) but I did like picking the random flavors(the bf liked the butter powder… personally I would have wanted curry). Passionfruit green tea was diluted and tasted funny, but its not really a tea place anyway. Overall, hot dogs are yum! Will definitely be trying shaved snow next time :)

Another review for snow ice… I ordered the same thing… Mango snow ice with aloe, passion fruit popping boba, and agar jelly. Tasted awesome like my previous review on this. So nothing changed there. By far my favorite flavor still. However, I did try the green apple with aloe, strawberry popping boba, and lychee jelly. This tasted very good too, not my favorite but good! I love this place because all the snow ice is made with real fruit and not artificial flavors like other places. You can literally see the skin from the green apple snow ice. But again, I have to say this… I think the owner really needs to think about putting real fruit as options instead of these high glucose toppings. The service here is five stars! They are very patient and sweet! =] Most definitely recommend coming here instead of Class 302. No wait!!! Major plus there!

Review is just on the jdog combo. I guess we were drawn into this place because of their interesting sounding hot dogs that they had. We came around 3? and there was nobody in there. So we got seated right away and the servers were very attentive. I felt like they kept looking at us and it made me a bit uncomfortable. I did love the music though! They played Korean and Taiwanese music videos on their TVs so that was pretty cool. What we got: Miso-Yaki J-Dog w/Garlic Salt Fries & Lychee Green Tea($ 6): I actually enjoyed the J-dog. It was hard for me to eat though because I didn’t want to make a mess, but I wanted to taste everything in one bite! The green onions that were on top was salty, but that’s just the way I like it! As for Garlic Salt Fries… they really do give you a lot! But as for the seasoning… I couldn’t really taste it and I wish I had more of it? The lychee green tea was just okay to me. I’m not a tea person so I guess that’s why? By BF liked it though, he said it wasn’t too sweet and that you could actually taste the lychee. Curry Croquette J-Dog w/Curry Fries & Milk Tea($ 6): this wasn’t as good as the miso-yaki dog. The curry croquette j-dog had potatoes and carrots in it, but no meat. The sauce that they had over it was… interesting as well. It was bitter? The curry seasoning for the fries were good though. They gave you enough of that so that you could actually taste the curry when you eat the fries. As for the milk tea… I like mine sweet and this was a bit bitter. Service: It was awkward after we ordered and they were just behind the counter… but other than that everything was good.

If you hate waiting in line for Class 302, come here! The taste and texture is pretty close, if not better than Class 302. They offer an assortment of shaved snow flavors, many of which are not found elsewhere. We ordered the Watermelon Shaved snow and it was so yummy and refreshing. It was topped with aloe, jelly and popping boba. You can add addtl toppings if you like. The popping boba was a trip. I didn’t expect a burst of juice to explode in my mouth when I bit into it, pretty cool :) They also served a meal combo which came with your choice of a hot dog, fries and a drink… all for $ 5.99! What a deal! I went with the Okonomiyaki dog, garlic salt shake shake fries and a passion fruit iced tea. The hot dog was was drizzled with mayo and topped with bonito flakes. The hot dog was really meaty but kinda salty. The shake shake fries were crispy and hot, better than McD fries and the portions were huge! The passion fruit iced tea was really good and not too syrupy. I liked their lil decorations and figurines on the walls, so cute! The restaurant is roomy and the chairs are actually comfy eventhough they don’t look like they would be. A big plus is their restroom is clean and is not used as a storage area like other places. The servers were friendly and checked up on the tables… good customer service! I will definitely return!

First place I’ve ever seen in So-Cal that serves J Dogs! Had the chance to try the Yakisoba dog and the Miso Dog, both were super yummy! Their meal combos come with your choice of J dog, Shake Shake fries, and a drink for $ 5.99. Super good deal combo that will leave you satisfied in your tummies! The Yakisoba dog had yakisoba noodles wrapped in a hot dog bun, and had Japanese mayo on top. The Miso Dog has miso in the sausage and tasted super juicy!!! The Shake Shake fries that I tried was the curry & the garlic salt. Super delicious. It’s called Shake Shake fries because they give you(generous portions) fries, with the seasoning in a small cup, and you can add or adjust your flavor of the flies to your liking. Dump it in your fries, and start shaking!!! Waiters here are very attentive and came by quite often to see how we were doing. I also got the chance to try the Milk Tea shaved snow, which was only okay to me. I‘ll prob come back to try the other flavors. The portions here & quality of the shaved snow still doesn’t compare to Class 302, IMO. Oh! and you get a stamp for every shaved snow you get. Buy 10 and the 11th one is free!

Michael W. told me about this place about a month before it opened and sent me the link to the website to become a Royal Club member. Having the Royal Club Card gives you 10% off your total bill and also gives you a certificate for one free shaved snow. Thanks Michael. This place is nestled in the same shopping center as 99 Ranch Market, around the corner of Colima and Azusa. They serve shaved snow, JDogs, shake shake fries, and drinks(green tea, black tea, and milk tea). I tried one item from each category. The combo is a pretty good deal at $ 5.99, which includes your choice of JDog, shake shake fries, and a drink. I got the Okonomiyaki JDog, fries with curry seasoning, and strawberry green tea. JDogs are regular hot dogs with Japanese inspired toppings, kind of like Dogzilla. The one I got was basically a hot dog version of takoyaki. The toppings were good but I didn’t care much for the sausage they used. It’s a bit too salty and has no snap to it. The fries were pretty good. They had the right amount of crisp without being greasy. The fries come with seasoning of your choice on the side. They’re called shake shake fries because you have to add the seasoning in the bag and shake them. I thought they tasted pretty good even without any seasoning. The strawberry green tea tasted very floral. It was a little weird for me even though I’m used to eating flower flavored ice cream. As for the shaved snow, I got the green tea which came with small boba, jelly(forget what kind), and sliced almonds. The texture of the shaved snow is similar to Class 302 but wasn’t as fluffy or smooth, and the size is a lot smaller. Even though I’m not a huge fan of Class 302, I have to give them props for having the best shaved ice. The green tea flavor was infused pretty well into the ice which is a good thing. I wasn’t too fond of the toppings and was disappointed they didn’t have mochi or red beans as optional toppings. I suggested to one of the employees about adding these for future. Overall, it’s a not a bad place but needs some tweaking in certain areas to earn a 4 or 5 star rating. I will be back to try few more shaved snow. They have more than 16 different flavors of shaved snow to choose from.
