Everyone here is friendly. Parking is easy to find.
Very comforting and friendly. They are real about what you need to do to your hair.
If it’s damaged and you want something done specifically they’ll tell you if its a good idea or not.

Karen is a freaking wizard with the scissors! She definitely knows how to cut and style Asian male hair with the best of them. She’s been cutting my hair for over 5 years and I’ve never left unsatisfied. I even followed her over to D2 Hair Studio from the OC. #notcreepy
D2 Hair Studio itself is a well run hair salon. The included hair wash is usually done by one of the associates and they all have done a good job as well. The prices are very reasonable and attention to detail is great.
Ask for Karen! She gonna make you look like a pop star!

We’ve been coming here for a couple years now, and Alice & Karen have always taken good care of our hair! For guys, you get a shampoo, haircut, rinse, and styling. They know how to cut and style Asian men’s hair, and do it well. Before Alice & Karen, I was searching all throughout LA and the OC for a consistent stylist. Now, I get the cut I want every time.
They’re located in the 99 Ranch Plaza, plenty of lot parking is available. Appointments are usually required, but sometimes they take walk-ins during the week when it’s not as busy.

I went back looking for Ethan but he’s no longer there since he did an amazing job on my daughter hair. I asked for Marcus he did an okay job not the best wouldn’t be going back there any time soon the price for kids was $ 25 for under 10 years old she only 9 years old btw. Then Marcus did the hair cut total was $ 45 wth that is ridiculous for a 9 year old cut and he wasn’t as good as Ethan. Was very disappointed

Angela, whom i would definitely recommend, has been doing a wonderful job with the styling of my hair to treating me as more than just another customer. If you do come in, you have to find Karen. Karen is best and funniest stylist that I have ever met. And I have been to many salons in LA and HK. She’s chatty and has great skills in hair cutting and styling. She will even work over time for me if I’m running late. Other places will simply reject service. She will stay behind and work her best effort for you. Come and ask for Karen!

Great hair salon! Karen is one of the more professional but yet friendly hair stylist that I ever had. The pricing for the store is very acceptable. Appointments are not required, but highly recommended. Make appointment with Karen when possible.

If you are going to get your hair done here be prepared to wait 20 – 60 minutes even if you have an appointment and this is with Angela
The multiple times I have been here there was probably only once where I didn’t have to wait an average of 30 minutes. I have stopped coming here for a long long time now but had to accompany someone here and this time was no different… as I am writing I have already waited for 30 minutes… so I am furious
Angela jams her appointments together and that is why they cannot charge higher prices. So for a mediocre haircut and ghetto environment I would much rather pay more for somewhere that actually knows how to style hair well.
Also I did perm my hair once and she had told me it would be wavy and it wouldn’t dry my hair but when I saw the results my hair looked liked ramen and it damaged my hair.
So if you have unlimited time, patience and want a mediocre hair cut then this is the place for you!

Another 5 stars for Lisa!
Couple weeks ago, I went in for a trim and I finally decided that I want to have purple highlights. I wanted to do it a year ago, but idea got shot down by hubby saying «you are not a teenager anymore», «you’ll regret it when you look back into our wedding photo»…etc. Well, now I’m regretting not having it done for my wedding.
When I told Lisa I want purple highlights, but not sure if it’ll work for me. She suggested to color only the tip of my front hair, I said OK. After she cuts my hair, she made another suggestion of having some color in my bangs too. She already had my trust and I told her to do whatever she want to do with my hair as long as she think it’ll look good. I cannot be happier with the result. The purple was deep and rich against my soft black hair. It’s subtle yet notable. I got so many compliments from work, friends and strangers (male and female)!

ALWAYS A 4-STAR AS LONG AS YOU GO TO ANGELA!
I’m not try to advertise for this lady, but she does goooood & excellent haircuts as well as hair colors. My mom & I have been going to see her since 7 years ago. My mom came to visit me 2 months ago from Taiwan, and she told me nobody could ever do her hair like angela did. So the first thing she did when she got off the plane was to go get hair coloring as well as haircut from Angela.
When I got my haircut recently, when I’m finished, Angela’s next customer asked her to have their haircuts done exactly like mine. This is how awesome & brilliant Angela is. This is why I’ve always trusted her with any hairdos she does for me.
