Best Buy

This particular location of BestBuy seems to be a weak link in the chain.
I bought a microwave here and wanted to have it loaded in the back of my SUV. Like most things that BestBuy sells, this box was not crazy heavy (55 pounds or something) it was mostly just big and awkward.
They asked me to pull my vehicle up in front of the store by the main doors into an area they referred to as the «loading zone» and they would load it. I explained that I had the following concerns about this request. Firstly, there were no signs posed on their building to support the designation of a loading zone. This area also lacked any type city zoning signs that would legally designate it as a loading zone. Secondly, if I stopped my vehicle where they requested me to, I would be stopped on a pedestrian sidewalk and partially blocking the northbound lane of vehicle travel. Thirdly, there was a lot of pedestrian activity in this «loading zone» because it clearly was intended to be the main entrance and exit to their store and on Saturdays they have a lot of customers visiting their store.
I spoke with the store manager who explained that they did not want to endanger their employees by having them moving carts/​hand trucks of merchandise into the parking lot. He also said that they have been working with the property landlord of their building to get a better setup. I truly hope that no pedestrians or staff get injured by this dangerous practice that BestBuy management is engaging in — and it needs to stop ASAP.

They have the worst servce i hate them and am not going back ever i would burn down the place if i could i bought a tv that ended up being broken and they would not let me return it.

This is the absolute best place to buy appliances. We ended up ordering a fridge and the delivery company screwed everything up. When we went back to Best Buy on ChristmAs Eve no less, Cicero the appliance manager fixed our problem. He went above and beyond what we ever could of imagines to make it happen. I never thought that would happen with a big Corp like this. Thank you Cicero! I will never go anywhere else to buy appliances!

Best Buy employees will LIE directly to your face. This best buy is not to be trusted, had the worse experience ever. Malachi the manager sold our items that were on hold and promised by Andrew that they were going to be waiting for us in the lockup cage. Then they tried to use our gift card to make up for the balance because the items were gone and they wanted to up sale us another a higher gigabyte phone. Will never go there again, and I strongly suggest buying online where you don’t have to deal with untrustworthy Best Buy employees. We have made a official complaint because when confronted they said we can’t help you and demanded my girlfriend and her mom to leave the store. We wanted to do our holiday shopping there, but we will go somewhere else because these guys are jerks and should not be in customer service. By the looks of how the maintain themselves and the store, hopefully they won’t be there as employees much longer. Snapped a pic so you can see who they are. I called last night to try to make a tech appointment with geek squad. I was on hold for an hour so I finally gave up. They even answered the phone after I had been on hold for thirty minutes and asked to put me on hold again, before I even answered I was on hold for another thirty minutes! And still no help after all that time. The only reason they have two starts is because the in store experience is ok. Now I’m on hold again this morning. Ten minutes and counting…

I have always had mixed issues at this particular Best Buy. I have had positive service when i made a major Canon DSLR camera purchase to standing around for 15 minutes for MacBook purchase and even asking for help by a sales person who said they would send someone and I walked out with nothing as no one ever assisted me. i bought elsewhere.
The biggest disappointment with this store is when you order online to pick up at store. More times than not, I go there, stand in line and they go to get the item and it is not there and they have to pull it off the floor. This happened just a few days ago… again. I ordered to blu rays, they sent me a reminder and I went there and was in a hurry. There was no line, so I thought I would be in and out. Well, the discs were not up front and so the lady went to the back room. She did not see them there so off to the floor they went (2 women helped me on this one) and what should of take just a few minutes, took a little over 10 minutes.
Why have online sales and pick up at store option, expecting it to be ready when you arrive to save time, but yet they have to pick it up off the floor while you wait? What happens if they do not have item in stock? I hope not to find out.

Liked how we could get a cheaper desktop computer but they forgot to take the password off the computer, so now I have to completely disconnect my computer now and take it back to get it removed! Rediculous.

We have just moved to town so we have spent the week buying new sofas, desks, etc etc. today we nipped into best buy to look at getting a new TV and it was easily the best purchasing experience we’ve had, Erick helped us and he was extremely knowledgable. He was the resident Samsung expert but he was totally unbiased and helped us filter down to a TV that was right for us.
No pressure on buying any ad ons or finance, just an interested, knowledgable employee.

Amazing this place stays in business this day & age. Save your Xanax & just shop on Amazon! Great place to physically check out a product, just don’t buy there.

This review is for the cell phone set up. Can go there and compare AT&T vs Verizon and Sprint, got a great deal and $ 150 best buy gift card for opening a new line. They also stayed after closing to help us and we’re very nice about it. They don’t get a commission or kickback so they are unbiased and show all available offers.

i had a viper 5706 remote start/​alarm installed by Stereo King just down the road. The only reason i went there is they price matched Best buy, what a mistake that was for me. What a gong show they are, they have not been able to fix the issue with the remote start headlight issue on my 2011 Toyota Tacoma, Best Buy has. At the time of install at Stereo King I told the sales guy that the 2011 Tacoma has an issue with the auto headlights, which I had done prior research online about, I email this info to the sales guy and told him to give it to the installer. This is not really an issue and much as it is knowing about how to do the work around and make it shut off the headlights. Lone behold I get my truck back and the headlights won’t shut off if the remote start times out (as it does on its own after running for 15 min) or if I shut the remote start off myself. This means that the headlights would stay on indefinitely and drain the battery.
I wish i had come here first and had Best Buy install it, Randy in the install area has got to be the best guy around for pinpointing down the issue and fixing it for me. it sucks i had to pay best buy for a repair that Stereo King should have been able to do but I’m just glad its fixed and done right. i wouldn’t hesitate to bring my truck here for any install of any electronic item.

The staff at this location are great.
I bought a laptop yesterday and Gabe was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.
When I got home and began having issues with my brand new laptop, I decided to take it back. Brian at Customer Service thoughtfully listened when I explained what happened, waited to do the busy work of the exchange while I was shopping in the store, and walked me through all of the charges and credits that would be on the receipt.
They have a great sale going on right now, too, so I paid a great price for a great product.

Worst company ever! There staff never greet or speak to us when we’re there. Its not just this best buy but all the other ones too. You can’t even ask a question without being told «I’ll be right back» and they never return.
Besides poor customer service they are totally overpriced. We only go there to see what they’re prices are to take to another location to price match.
They have great products but as a consumer I refuse to spend my mean green with a business that doesn’t value diversity

My husband and I went here to look for a T.V. There are plenty of sales associates in there chatting at each other, and totally ignored us. Why? Is it because we dressed baggy and we looked poor? Frock you Best Buy! Worst costumer service ever!

I was all set to spend a few thousand on a 55″ tv I had picked out along with a sound system. Then they brought out the binder of scan codes for installation prices. They proceeded to nickel and dime me until the total cost of products and services totaled $ 5000. I walked out in disgust and went up the road to Standard TV & Appliance. I got the exact same products and everything installed for $ 2900. The service they outsource installation to, Oregon Install had a very low flat rate, rather than the nickel and dime method Best Buy and Geek Squad used. Skip this pathetic big box store and support a wonderful, local business like Standard.

This is the worst Best Buy in town, I will continue shopping at Best Buys just not at this location. Every time I come here, I experience the worst service. Came in to purchase an Apple air 2, got an Air instead. Called the store and asked them to hold a 2 for me to exchange as I’ll be traveling for the next 2 month. Being, that they provided me the wrong product from the get go. The rep explained the no-​hold policy to me and re-​assured that they had plenty of them in hand to exchange. My concern was that they would run out… Well, upon my arrival after work to exchange it they ran out. So… I will be traveling without an iPad for 2 month.

I came in because I was in need of an external cell phone charger. Seems the Samsung G3 is known for the micro usp going bad, and mine had after a year and a half of use.
It was not overly busy on a Thursday afternoon around 3pm when I walked in so I expected to be wrangled by a sales associate pretty quickly. I was wrong about that. I walked around for a good ten minutes, got a good looking over of the cell phone accessories area and was eventually asked by a young man if I needed help. Which I did because after ten minutes of exploration I had yet to find what I was looking for.
The sale associate listened and told me that he’d had the same smartphone AND had the very same issue with the usp port. He told he did not believe they had any external battery chargers but he checked with to women not far away to be sure. They suggested Batteries Plus, which was already on my schedule to be the next stop just in case Best Buy didn’t have what I needed.
I thanked them for their help and suggestions and as the male sale associate and I walked away he told me that the new phones were using a «wireless» charging system. He showed me his own cell and told me how it worked.
Even though they did not have what I came in for, they did make a great recommendation to help me. My only demerit mark was for not being approached
And yes, Batteries Plus had a universal charger for $ 25 that is working fine.

Shoddy customer service. Came here for B&W speakers and other stuff. Salesperson more intent on selling accessories that one did not really need and turned out to be incompatible with the speakers.
Return policy, even for unopened merchandise, is atrocious and predatory.
I’m glad I found out about a local family-​owned audio/​video shop in Beaverton.

Slow slow slow, you’re wasting money on labor by having slow systems and computers. It’s about time to upgrade, give your employees the proper tools, it will help with employee retention.
Price matching used to be good, but now Best Buy looks for every reason not honor their own policy. Half the time, they can’t look stuff up because «their systems are down»
If you don’t want to honor your your policy, just change it, it’s very simple.

Having been a regular at this location for over a decade and doing nearly all of my business and personal electronics shopping here, this place feels like a second home for me.
Every time we arrive we are greeted like part of the family and that is not because we spend money here, as that does not happen but a fraction of the times we walk into the store. Many trips are research for new equipment, Model comparisons, Q&A with staff or warranty issues. They greet the way they do because of the quality people that are hired and staffed here, genuine caring and friendly individuals who do their jobs with a positive friendly attitude.
The staff is knowledgable on each of the product lines and will give you a comprehensive comparison between them, really taking the time to answer all of your questions so you can make an informed decision about your purchase.
The warranties offered by Best Buy are unparalleled really and I always get them in my larger purchases. The warranties include yearly services and cleanings which if you do them as you should (don’t tell me you don’t take care if your big screen 1800 dollar TV?) would cost you more than the warranty. If your item breaks the warranty replaces it with the new model.
Fantastic store — I don’t shop anywhere else!
