This is a Dick’s Sporting Goods. If you’ve been to one before this one is probably about the same.

I went in here to look for a new sweatshirt, and in the whole camo section there was 50% off signs EVERYWHERE. Of course there wasn’t a sign over the one display of under armor jackets I wanted. I read the fine print on the sign and it literately said 50% off all camo and excludes clearance items that end in .97¢ and .93¢ (which the sweatshirt didn’t.) I asked an employee if they’re 50% and he said no it excludes sweatshirts, yet there sign was over multiple sweatshirt racks. My boyfriend then asks if another the section of sweatshirts, that has a 50% off sign, is also on sale. The employee responds with «Well why don’t you read the fine print boss» and walks off. I was very disappointed with his rude approach to very simple, and nicely asked questions.

Came in about 15 min before close trying trying o get some fishing line on my new real! The guy at the front asks if he can halo us and we told him what we needed and he says“he is back there doing a gun sale and they probably would not have time to help us”. Seemed like he was trying to make sure they could close on time. Why would he not want our business. Weird. We went back there anyways and the guy that helped us was not busy and was glad to help. Would have been a 5 star if the guy in front would have just let us go back to the fishing dep.

This place sucks!!! They have too many people who work there that obviously don’t like to be there! Customer service, uhhh, yeah right! There wasn’t any in the fishing section! I asked to see a reel and was told that I need to go to the front to see one that isn’t attached to some alarm contraption. So I go up front and the alarm goes off on me. I come back to the sales associate and he tells me to go up front with it ringing to have them turn it off. I told him that was his job and tossed the reels on his counter and headed out! What a joke!

Worst experience ever. I have shopped here many of times. My girlfriend bought me some adidas skinny pants and some for herself. She went and returned them because she got me the wrong size. well when she got home the second time we realized that they were youth not for adults. My girlfriend just went back today to get the proper size or just return them to get something else and the girl at the front desk Mackenzie (which she was not wearing her name tag I had to ask) would not honor my return (I didn’t have my receipt but was literally there the day before) and it had all tags on the item with the bag. She said I would have to pay an extra $ 5 because of returning youth and getting adult. Why would I pay extra money when the first initial purchase was a regular one if that’s the case I should have got $ 5 back when I returned it the first time cause of wrong size and got the youth size on accident. She was very unprofessional rude and had a smart attitude with me. She didn’t even call for a manager which I asked for. Mackenzie has the worst customer service ever actually! on the other hand ashlee is a doll and very nice and professional she helped me the first time and Trevor or Travis helped me the second time

Stopped by this afternoon to get some weights. The place was a ghosttown– we saw no customers and no employees out and about in the store. I was very grateful to find that they had an electronic scooter available for disabled folks. I hopped on and drove around the empty store (tons of fun by the way).
We trekked to the other side of the store, looked through the hand weights available and we were on our way. As a reviewer previously mentioned, you are basically left to explore the store with little to no interaction with staff until you reach the counter. Again, as the reviewer previously mentioned, this could be considered positive or negative customer service. I sort of like it when an employee checks if I need any assistance– it doesn’t have to be them «hounding» me, but knowing that they are offering to help is always appreciated. Since I’m disabled at the moment, having that reassurance would have been a nice touch.
The folks at the register were friendly and rung us up-​and we were out of there.
If you know your way around the store, and you know exactly what you’re looking for, then this is the place for you. However, if you are looking for advice, assistance with exercise equipment, etc, I don’t think this is the best place to visit.

After my debacle with another sports store close by being closed down, I came here looking for Archery Equipment. Bad idea. They really don’t carry much of any one thing other than Clothes, Fishing Poles and Rifles. They have several Compound Bows but I am looking for a Re Curve Bow. All they had were for kids. They were more like toys for tykes. They did have an Archery Range. Didn’t care as they did not have anything I wanted. The things I did look at were way to expensive. So I left with my money still burning a hole in my pocket.

this is my first Unilocal review and wish that you didn’t have to give something one star. my experience with their customer service today and «used bat return» has caused me to create my own «dick’s is just that» campaign. yesterday, i bought a expensive new softball bat. later that afternoon, during a game, the tip went flying off during the top of the 1^st inning. today when i went to EXCHANGE the bat, the manager conveniently flipped the receipt over to show me the «used bat policy». i told him that all i wanted to do is exchange it as i had been sold a defective product. i was willing to drive accross town to do so. he printed up the manufacture’s information for me and sent me on my way.

It wasn’t so long ago that the first Dick’s location in Oregon opened at Washington Square Mall. This Johnson Creek location is their ninth and I still don’t see what they’re bringing to the table that other stores in the area don’t already have covered.
On my latest visit, I had three items on my shopping list all related to football. Just down the road, Sports Authority at Clackamas Promenade had every item on my list. They had a better selection and lower prices. Wholesale Sports is across the street and while there isn’t a ton of overlap between the two, it still seems like an odd location for this store.
Of all the locations, the original store in Tigard is still the best. The rest are just overpriced sporting goods with nothing special going on.
