Ordered for delivery. Large pepperoni was very tasty, crust was quite large which took a big portion of the pizza. Delivery man was super kind. Overall great experience. Pizza was a little pricey. I paid 20 $ for tip, delivery fee, and the large pizza. Of course there was coupons on the box where I most likely will use in the future.

The food was delicious. It was just what we expected: good, hot, tasty pizza and breadsticks. It wasn’t the best thing in the world, but if you want good pizza and fast service, then this is a great choice.

Unfortunately, my first experience with Garlic Jims was after finding that I’m gluten intolerant. I ordered a gluten free pizza, the toppings(pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, black olives) were really good, but the crust is one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. I’m on a quest to find a decent, or if I’m lucky a fantastic gf pie. This was definitely not it.

Thanks for the BBQ wings that are not even close. Never again. Horrible customer service today and then asked is it under a different name maybe after I paid for it!!!

Best pizza I have had in a long time. The sauce is a perfect balance of tomatoes and herbs. The crust can be a bit thick in places but is very tasty. As always you have to have garlic when you order here so I suggest getting extra garlic on your pizza.

Gluten-free crust and cheesecake? Really, you had me at cheesecake. The crust is fantastic. Soft, thin, appropriately crisp on the bottom. Not too dry or soggy(us GFers can tell many horror stories about bad GF pizza crust). No, they aren’t all created equally! Did I mention my über-critical, food service savvy, husband even went back for seconds? Thank you for the happy tummy!!!

I was hoping for a good pizza, I got a pepperoni, not much cheese or pep, the taste was almost like a frozen pizza, it was hot as heck in the store, I will pass on this place in the future.

Best gluten free crust I’ve had. We decided to try based on reviews and are so happy we did. I has chicken, bacon, ranch on gf and it was incredible. The crust is thin, but not crispy while still chewy — in a good way. We didn’t know it was take out or delivery, and the staff brought us paper plates to eat in the store. This will be a stop each time I come to Portland!

Staff was super helpful and friendly and the pizza was so good! Really worth every penny! I would recommend to any of my friends and family. Not a sit down restaurant but hey, it’s pizza, your not supposed to go out to eat pizza. Take it home to your family and bond over good food! I highly recommend the margarita pizza!

This was the first pizza we had after moving to Oregon. We ordered the chipotle chicken pizza(I’m pretty sure that’s what it was called) and it was DELICIOUS! I would give five stars, but the next time we ordered from here it just blah. Maybe they were having an off night?

Though the pizza is delicious, and it is one of the few places to get gluten free that doesn’t taste like cardboard, don’t waste your time. The staff is horrible, we ordered pizza(delivery) was told it was going to be 45 mins — 1 hour. Two and a half hours later we still hadn’t received it. We drove there to pick it up, there was no apology and we were handed cold pizza which clearly had been sitting for a while. We were later told by an employee that this was a regular occurrence, something that happened whenever there was even the slightest rush. My suggestion — if you want to deal with them — alway order for Take-Out.

I went in tonight, August 27th2012 at 9:30pm approx, and here is what happened. I pulled into the parking lot and saw a space open directly in front of this business. I maneuvered my truck and backed into the spot. It was quick and easy. My fiancé and I exited aforementioned truck and walked inside of Garlic Jim’s to begin reading the menu. As we were reading we both overheard two female employees talking and after a moment of listening we were astonished that one girl was saying to another how stupid it was when people back their trucks into parking spots and how it really irritated her. I wanted to make sure she was speaking about us, so I cleared my throat a few times and listened with further astonishment as they continued to speak about this at length and complaining despite knowing we were both inside. My fiancé and I looked at each other, then after discussing it low under our breath, we decided to walk out and refuse to patronize their business. As we walked out. We were not greeted, we were ignored. If the business has security cameras, I suggest pulling the footage. Upon leaving the parking lot we called back to ask about when the manager would be in and what their name was. We were told she was uncomfortable giving that information to a stranger over the phone. So we instead inquired about the owner of the establishment to which she quickly replied with a sassy tone, «Well we’re a franchise so we don’t have an owner.» — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – Oh but you do and they will hear from the both of us.

I’ve been here a few times b/c it is walkable from our local field office where I work when I’m in Portland. There is one small table and a few stools if you choose to eat there but my guess is that 99% of their business is pickup. The staff has always been friendly and it takes about 15 – 20 minutes to get your pizza if you order and wait there. Both times I’ve gotten the meat lovers pizza. I wouldn’t say that it is great pizza but it is decent and above average. They also have personal size pizzas if you are just there to grab some lunch for yourself.

I called in a pizza order for pick-up(that’s really the only option since this is not a sit-down restaurant). I also ordered breadsticks. Unfortunately, they didn’t put spinach on the pizza but did add artichoke hearts(blech!). And I didn’t get breadsticks, I got garlic cheese bread. I was supposed to get dipping sauce with the bread, evidently, but didn’t. It all tasted pretty good, but the fact that they screwed up multiple parts of my order means I am not likely to come back here again.
