Honestly we only had drinks here. It was a cool little space. It was pretty empty, but it’s located in a unnoticeable area. They closed pretty early too. We were there on a Sunday evening.

Stopped in for a few beers with a few friends to see what this place was about. My group only stopped in for a few drinks(as we had already had dinner elsewhere). This place is hard to find and wasn’t very busy for a Saturday night around 9:00 p.m. I seriously think this place could benefit from a little advertising or bright lights to attract people to the dark corner they are located within the Packing House. Unfortunately, I have to verify that most of the complaints I’ve read here on Unilocal about this place being out of beers on their beer list, are true. After our table ordered two different beers we were told that the kegs had«just run out». A third beer we ordered, we were told they didn’t have any more. Bummer. I’ll definitely be giving this place another shot, and I’ll be back to try the food too. Hopefully, I can bump up the rating if it is a more positive experience.

Ordered meatball sandwich with chips. My husband ordered adult grilled cheese and tomato soup. Both sandwiches were on dry side. The tomato basil soup was delicious. The fries that came with it were tasty. They have dozens of beers on tap and in bottles. It was a quiet evening we were there. They have several big screen TV’s with sporting events on them. It is a big beautiful room but I can see it getting very noisy if busy. They had to change their name since there is another place with essentially the same name in Korea Town near DTLA.

Came here with a large party around mid day, restaurant was empty. Even with an empty restaurant, service took over an hour for drinks, hour and a half for food. Server had a negative and sassy attitude. Overall a lunch, more accurately a day, wasted. Also, the food was overpriced, and the glasses we were given were dirty.

This is a hidden gem. It is tucked away in the cut. The food was pretty good. They make everything homemade… even potato chips. The staff were very friendly. They have flat screens all around the place. Ate our food and watched the football game for a lil while. It wasn’t busy on this Sunday afternoon which was good because the food came out pretty quick. I will definitely go back. Ohhhh the sandwich was so big I had to beak pieces off to eat it… but it was good. Full! Whew!

Had the pleasure of being served by Janna? I believe that was her name? Well, she was great! Such a pleasure and very attentive. Ordered the the garlic fries, but it needed way more sauce. I ordered the beef dip sandwich with pasta salad. The meat was so tender with the right amount of au ju sauce. I would order it again! My friend ordered the jambalaya and she loved it! It has a good amount of sausage and shrimp, also had the right amount of spice. Her only recommendation was a little more rice. Cool place to grab lunch or just a cold one.

I’ve been here a few times for different occasions. Each time has been a positive experience. Food: Burgers are delicious, you can’t go wrong. Sweet tater tots are something different, I really enjoyed them, but my friend wasn’t a fan. I’ve also tried a few of their appetizers like the flat breads, those are always tasty. Booze: They have a nice selection of various types, also keep local brews and ciders in stock. Setting: Laid back vibe, last time I went they were setting up for live music. I’ve also been on Wednesday nights when they host quiz night, which is very fun. Those nights tend to get crowded, often slowing down the kitchen, so if you’re not playing, I’d advise to come back a different night. Verdict: I’ll be back.

Good food, great beer as long as you don’t mind the wait… Under staffed! Low key but worth the search! Oh and they have all the football games on Sunday’s!

This gem is tucked away at the end and behind everything in Claremont village. Walk through the packing house and you will find its double doors at the corner. Awesome service! Great food! Big beer selection! Live Music Saturday nights!

My first few experiences at this restaurant was great! The food and the service was good, plus I loved the TVs for watching sports. I even gave 5 stars on a Unilocal review initially. Then more recently I came back and they were turning away customers because they were short staffed and ran out of food. It was around 7 pm, which is dinner time on a holiday weekend! After this experience, I changed my review to 3 stars because of my disappointment. I came back with my boyfriend and got the Avocado Burger with a few sides. On the first bite, my boyfriend bit on an avocado seed inside the burger! We let the waitress know so she can tell the chef. We got an apology from the waitress but to be honest it didn’t seem like any of the staff cared that much. His jaw hurt so much he ate the burger with a knife and fork! If we weren’t in the middle of watching an exciting NBA finals game, we de faintly would have just left. I feel like the restaurant is not up to the standard it was initially, so I will not return to this restaurant.

Lunch at Beer Belly Deli and St. Patrick’s Day special menu is pretty awesome. I had the Guiness blonde beer with green dye. And I ordered the corned beef and cabbage entrée. The service was friendly and food came out fast. Our bartender and server are really nice. I want to come back to try out more beers and more food from them. Thank you Beer Belly Deli!

I’m not often compelled to leave negative reviews, but my experience was so poor, I’m leaving a one star review for this place. My wife and I went on a Saturday 3÷7÷15 and walked in at about 6:40PM. This is dinner time, so I was expecting a fair crowd. It looked like the place was about 75% full, but not crowded by any means. The weather was nice so we opted for the back patio(which appears to be dog friendly). The decorum and atmosphere were nice, but that’s about the only good thing I can say about this place. We seated ourselves and a our waitress quickly asked us for a drink order. We had never been here, so needed a few minutes to look over the beer list. After she hadn’t returned in about 5 minutes, another server or perhaps the bartender came over and took our drink order. Unfortunately, two of the draft beers that we were interested in were out of stock so she recommended something else which turn out to be fine. I wish I had gotten her name because this bartender was the only employee who seemed to care at all. After 2 failed attempts to flag down our original server and another 10 minutes, she finally returned to take our food order. I asked what types of cheese I could select for my turkey sandwich and she could only remember three and then started staring at the sky trying to think about what else they served. I just picked Havarti so she didn’t implode trying to remember other cheeses. My wife ordered the adult grilled cheese. So, 40 minutes goes by, we’ve now been at this place for 1 hour. No food yet. Our server hasn’t followed up with us once; we had empty beers and water for at least 15 minutes and were never asked if we wanted a refill. Finally, we had had enough. We went to the bar and asked for our tab on the two beers. The bartender whom we encountered earlier cashed us out and was apologetic while she listen to my extensive complaints, but ultimately could do nothing about it. I was really mad at this point. I can’t speak for the food since I was never actually served, but I will never go back to this restaurant and I would advise others to steer clear as well.

I really wish I could rate this place 5 stars. Décor is great, beer selection would be great if they actually had the beers they list on their menu. They are always out of everything. The beer from the taps… No good. The server even acknowledged that they need to be cleaned and bought our next round of bottled beer(that is when we found one they actually had in stock). Food was pretty good. Took a long time to come out considering we were the only other couple in the entire restaurant. Now here’s the kicker. While eating at the bar, the bar back decided it was a good time to shake out the bar mats. Water, beer, and whatever grossness that collects in those things was now all over my salad. Barf. I have given this place two shots and will not be back.

I don’t know… I wanted to like this place, it makes me a little sad to give it such a low rating but it is what it is. The waitress(god, I wish I remembered her name!) sucked so bad. Like, I know server life is hard and all that but come on… She took so long to bring us our menus after we sat down then took my menu before I was done ordering. I had to ask for it back! She kept looking at other tables while talking to us and just wasn’t friendly. The waitress with reddish hair and bangs is the only reason we didn’t leave the place. She was nice and tried to be attentive. Our food took longer than it should’ve to come out. It was fries and Irish nachos… The cheese on the nachos was pretty burned. Yum. & I’m pretty sure she over-charged us… Room temperature beer = no good. This place has potential. It’s a nice space, it’s roomy and architecturally pretty neat. It’s in a prime location, there’s a lot of foot traffic going through the building. It’s lacking a good rep & a good rep comes from good food, good customer service and ice cold beer! Thanks for the sub-par experience, beer belly deli. I might give you another shot if you get your act together.

Oh my goodness — cute cute décor and atmosphere. Waitress was very friendly… and sides were not that bad and they have a outdoor smoking/pet friendly patio! That’s where the good ends. Everything I wanted to eat… THEYWEREOUTOF! The beef dip, the phillycheese steak, the jambalaya… etc. ALLOUT! W T F! I asked for a local beer(on the menu) and they were out of that too… They either had a great Saturday and sold out everything or they have a poor inventory manager. With that being said– they did have the pastrami sandwich which was MAH. Boyfriend got the Beery Belly Burger(protein style) and may i note to you NEVER to get protein style here because it twas not good– just stick with In&Out for the protein! Did not enjoy the food at all– beer was pleasant. I’ve never been to a place that was out of so many dishes… ever in my life… so so so weird.

Food was dry. Service was slow. Asked for medium on the burger, got well done. Still waiting on the next beer and maybe hot sauce to add some flavor to this very bland«berry belly burger» More to come

After receiving a gift card, it seemed apropos to give this establishment another shot. I was marginally concerned when my friend mentioned having been here the previous night with his parents and actually having left after an hour without ever receiving their food, due to there being only one server and one cook staffing an entire restaurant. Free food and beer, I said, paid for by {gift card giftee}. Stop talking and consume. Well, it was apparently trivia night, and the crowd was decent. One might expect, given said context, that there would be a reasonably expedient staff of servers. ‘Twas not the case. There was one server working the entire room. I saw one face, and one only, in the kitchen. We were left waiting with empty glasses for twenty minutes, our food was cold when it arrived, and the beer was flat. Again. None of this was the server’s fault. None of this was the cook’s fault. I did not, and could not, conscionably complain to the server, who was working an entire room of 40 –50 by herself. Flat beer? Poor staffing? Must be poor management. Compare this to the dive bar we left to attend(Black Watch) and we received immediate service and swift preparation for our food. I regret deleting the poem that I wrote as my initial review. It was caustic, rude, and entirely appropriate.

If you ever want to grab a cold drink and some good grub(with variety), and don’t want to wait 45 mins for Eureka or Back Abbey, then this is the spot. A very decent size in the restaurant. Flat screens to enjoy some sports and also a patio if you like to sit outside. I sat at the bar and was quickly greeted. Friendly staff. I didn’t know what to eat so I ask the bartender what she recommend between their signature sandwiches. She told me to get«The Cubano». Great choice. Just plain delicious. I also ordered it with some sweet tator tots. They may not have a great selection of beers like Abbey or Eureka, but decent enough to get a cold one with some good food. I’ll surely come back to try some of their other stuff.

Came here for lunch not too long ago. Despite us arriving on a weekday at noon, it was quite empty. There were probably only 2 other tables occupied at the time we entered. The décor and atmosphere of this place is very nice. Big tables, large open space, and lots of sunlight. Now on to the service! The waiters are nice and friendly. The service is slow. It takes forever to get your drinks and even longer to get your food. From the time we ordered to the time we finally received our food, it took 35 – 40 minutes. That’s unacceptable and very ridiculous considering there was no one but our tiny party of 3 there when the food arrived. I think maybe it has to do with the fact that there is only one person cooking in the kitchen(I believe he could be the head chef). The chef was very cordial, he did come out and personally serve us our food and apologized for the long wait. The food was good. I would come back to try other items on their menu. Be sure to try the sweet potato tots, those are yummy! And keep an eye out for a LivingSocial deal for this place. It was available a week ago but has since been removed. If it is ever up on LivingSocial, do buy it to give this place a try.

Excellent Service! Great sandwiches and beer selection. Located just behind Eureka Burger with convenient parking just below the packing house this should turn out to be a WONDERFUL discovery for the local Claremont community. I saw the burgers and they looked pretty good. We had a BLAT and I tried out the Cranberry Mustard which was yummy and the Sweet Potato Tots. Beautiful Sunday out on the Patio jukebox in the main portion of the Deli but he music selection is odd… We will be back for sure. Respectfully Reviewed
