I am a regular at chilis and always come for the Caribbean salad and soup. They always let me do half a salad with an up charge but it always comes up to under 10 $. Today the manger refused to do it for me and wanted to charge me 5 $ just to add chicken to half of a salads and was extremely rude when I tried to explain they do this for me often. After wasting half of my lunch break I left with out ordering anything. After this experience I may never be back again.

Very disappointed. I’ve never been to Chilis before so I was actually pretty excited when I looked at their menu online. We got the 2 for $ 20. First off it took us about 10 minutes until a server finally came over to get us drinks. Second, our appetizer was the Texas cheese fries, the fries looked old and were hard and the cheese looked old. My boyfriend got the Cajun chicken pasta, the pasta was undercooked, and it didn’t taste like it had any Cajun on it. I got the bacon ranch chicken quesadillas, there was hardly any bacon at all, no ranch, way too much cheese and not enough chicken.(So tasted like I was basically eating just cheese quesadillas). Our server hardly came over to check on us. Our bill was messed up because it said it was $ 17 for our entrees, and $ 5.49 for our appetizer.(When it was supposed to be 2 for $ 20) and our server seemed not too happy when we pointed it out but she did change it. Overall we were very disappointed with our entire experience even though we were pretty excited to go. Honestly will probably not be returning unfortunately.

I went there and was expecting a good burger. So yeah we waited there around 15−30min(which is normal for there) while I’m literally freezing my balls off(yeah and I thought people who lived in buffalo hates the cold). So I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and when they brought the food I looked to see if they put bacon on the burger. I look and I saw they didn’t put bacon on it but guess what they put on it. Yeah they put on mustard(and I HATE mustard). So I asked our waitress whey they put on mustard and she said that the plain burger automatically has mustard on it. Yeah I was pretty pissed off. So she brought the manager and he said the burger was on them cause we didn’t like it. We went stomping out and went to Five Guys Yeah way better

Have no idea what happened to the food at this place. It used to be great. It is like a bad chain restaurant now. Really bad food. Very bland. Even their great chips and salsa were lacking. Service was a little over the top but ok. Manager rectified an uncooked chicken sandwich. Food bad. Service ok.

Went in here around 5:30 on a Saturday and it wasn’t that busy. We got a table right away. The staff was friendly and I noticed the manager walking around and even helping clean things up. Our server greeted us pretty quick and took our drink order. Drinks came out in 15 minutes and the server apologized that the bartender was busy. We ordered the bacon burger and the mango chicken. We had to wait about 40 minutes for our food. I’m not sure why every Chili’s I go to has this issue of not getting food out in a timely manner, it really seems to be an issue with the chain. At any rate, the burger was cooked well and so were the fries. The chicken was rubbery, perhaps sitting too long, though the sauce was nice and spicy. The broccoli was not bad. Rice was a bit dry and there wasn’t much. The server was pretty attentive and kept asking us if everything was okay. I don’t have a good feeling with this location. It’s not as nice as the Niagara Falls one, and it just seems needing a refresh. Not sure if we’ll be back.

I’ve missed Chilis… funny how you can miss a chain when you aren’t living near one. Since we’re back in WNY, it was time to visit one again! Came and ate here on a Saturday night, kid was at home with babysitter. If you’ve ever read my reviews then you know when I don’t have my screaming toddler with me then I like to be able enjoy my meal and take my time. Happy that on this evening at Chili’s, was able to do that. Started with some drinks, I LOVE that thing on the table so you can just submit your drink refill yourself! I used that to my advantage several times. Service was good, waitress was attentive. We got the endless chips and salsa and I added some guacamole. The guacamole was REALLY good, very fresh and nice and chunky with big pieces of avocado in it. I would have enjoyed this more if the chips weren’t all broke up, it seemed like we got the bottom of the bag or something. Hardly any solid chips. I was starving, so I made do with the circumstances I had. I ordered a sirloin and my husband had the ribs. His ribs were SO good, they had that Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce on them. My sirloin was ordered medium but came out well done. The waitress offered to take it back but to be honest it took a really long time to even get it(around 45 minutes, but I was happy with my drinks and chips) so I declined. She took that off the bill for us. You can also order desserts from the table computer thing, so I went ahead and ordered a chocolate chip cookie skillet. Oh Lord… it was like all chocolate and butter and just awesome with the scoop of ice cream on top. All in all, it was a very enjoyable meal. I left full and with a decent buzz, signs that I very much had fun. Will be back!

Came here with my parents and sister for the first time in almost 10 years, because we heard they were making some menu and restaurant changes. Glancing at the menu, they did change a bit since the last time we had been here. My mom got some kind of sampler platter with a chicken enchilada, chicken taco and chicken tostada and thought all of it was good. My dad got some chicken sandwich with fries and liked it, and my sister got the quesadilla explosion salad which they’ve had forever but is consistently good. I tried one of their new bowls, which consists of chicken/shrimp(being a pescetarian, I opted for the shrimp), beans and rice, cheese, corn salsa, sauce, tortilla strips and avocado slices. I thought it was decent but nothing to write home about. My mom and I split the buy one get one presidente margarita, which was probably the best part of the meal. Honestly, they might have put up some smoke and mirrors but it’s the same Chili’s it always has been. I probably won’t be back because I’m not that impressed. While our waitress was very nice and friendly, she took forever to take our order and forever to give us the bill, or rather teach us to use the electronic tablets each table now has, to swipe your card and pay for your meal. To be fair my sister had her menu open on the table well after she decided what she wanted to order, but the server didn’t even come check on us until her menu was closed for a minute or two. Our food came out quickly but with the wait to order and the wait for the bill we were easily there for about an hour and a half, and the restaurant was pretty much empty so I don’t really understand that. My dad waited for the server to come by so he could ask her for hot sauce but she was nowhere to be seen. I also waited for her to come over for about 20 minutes so I could ask her for a box for my leftovers. Also, call me old fashioned but I HATE when restaurants have tablets on tables. They had games going on the tablets and my dad would not put the thing down for most of our meal because it is so distracting. They also take up quite a bit of space on the table, so they’re generally just inconvenient. Also what if you wanted to pay cash for your meal? The impression was that it took so long for our server to help us pay on the tablet because they expect you to just pay and leave. It was unfriendly or unwelcoming or something.

I’d rather be force fed Habanero Chillis than Haveamealat Chili’s. Pros: One of the waitresses here is one of the most beautiful women ever to walk the earth. Their chocolate molten lava cake is a gift from heaven. Some of their baristas are friendly. Cons: Some of their employees are very rude. Their food tastes at best generic, at worst, awful. They’re really not that cheap. You’re eating nothing but pre-portioned meals and chemicals and preservatives. It’s a national chain and über-corporate. It couldn’t be less Mexican, it’s not even real Tex Mex. All this adds together to make a 3. It would have been a 2 without the girl :) So what. I like girls.

This is one of the better chain restaurants. The service and staff is wonderful. Their food is delicious and there are so many options to choose from. The drink menu has anything you could dream of; their margaritas are so good! They are very good about when you ask to not have something on the dish. I am never disappointed when I come here. The servers are always there refilling drinks, getting more chips and salsa and making sure everything is going well with the meal. I will definitely be back for more drinks and yummy food! Also Jake that works at this location did a great job and I will be back to sit in his section!

I’m not a huge fan of chain restaurants but I do have to admit that besides Jack Astor ’ s they have the best guacamole in town. It’s made fresh every day and the chips are too. Other than that it’s your standard chain restaurant food.

Like going to a mall food court with beer. The food is edible, that’s about it. Chicken tacos were really a tiny microwave tender in a softshell, with a little salsa, x3. Not much flavor in their food. Wife had a veggie burger with fries, was bland. Meh. The 2 for 1 drafts are a little misleading– they’re served in 8 or 10 oz mugs(I’m not sure on size there). Figure a bottle is 12oz, so you’re likely paying the same as anywhere else(light beers– Coors or Miller– are $ 3, blue moon is $ 5). Margarita drink specials are served in a special bottle, but not very boozy. Lotsa capri sun in there. Service was very friendly and smiley, when it was there. Took some time to get drinks, but was ok. Someone else brought the food, that was ok. Didn’t see our waitress until we were about ¾ done. First time in forever I only had one beer with apps and dinner(the two mugs count as one to me, sorry). Got out relatively cheap because we only had one round. Was $ 45 for a beer, a margarita, chips n salsa, hamburger, and chicken tacos. Pricey for the quality, about right for a chain restaurant. This is all location. Good after a shopping trip because they’re there, serve beer, and edible food. Just don’t expect to be wowed on any front, just meh.

I am not a big fan of chain restaurants to begin with so it is no surprise that I haven’t been to a Chili’s in over two decades. Putting that aside and putting things into perspective, I was in Buffalo staying on Transit Road. Our mission: shop till we drop, so after nine hours of bargain hunting, the lure of two for one margaritas and $ 5 appetizers seemed to go with our theme. The two best things about this experience were as follows: the margaritas were decent and our server was really sweet. We sampled the sliders and fries, the pepperoni pizza, and the Buffalo wings. Everything was so salty! The next morning my hands felt like balloons! The fries tasted like they had been cooked hours ago and then microwaved. Fries are cheap and not difficult to prepare; this just shows a real lack of caring and laziness on a kitchen’s part. The wings were decent, but let’s be honest, it is pretty hard to f-up a wing, no? And the chips and salsa were okay, but again, it was like snacking on a salt lick. MEH.

The 2 for 1 drink specials seem to never end here but I am not complaining! They just came out with a «revitalized menu» which includes wonderful pretzels as an appetizer(which I highly suggest you try) The wait staff is attentive as they have always been in my experiace dining here. I wonder why they are rarely ever busy??? oh well best kept secret on this part of transit if you ask me. The food is always good.

Sit at the bar. They have free chips and salsa. Also, it is more likely that you have a server who has been here for more than a month(since bartender training usually takes several month in my experience). Happy hour runs from 3 – 6 and then from 9-close. They have ½ priced appetizers from a select list. The list was almost all meat items, which didn’t help me(as I am a vegetarian). Discount my reviews accordingly. ;) In addition to the happy hour specials, they have 2-for-1 drafts, well drinks, margaritas, and house wines. The glasses are small(at just 10 ounces, so you are truly getting 20 ounces of a beverage instead of the typical 12 or 16). This will make you feel like a little kid who just realized the carnival games are rigged for you to lose. Seriously. Those basketball hoops are bent so far that they aren’t even round anymore. Look at them from the side, and you will see what I mean! Annnnyway… the best deal is the wine, since they do seem to give you the full glass of wine. We ordered the trio appetizer($ 11.50). We picked the spinach dip, mozzarella sticks, and the chipotle chicken egg rolls. While I didn’t try the rolls, for obvious reasons, the spinach dip was soooo salty! It wasn’t even the chips, because we had those with the salsa. How do you mess up spinach dip? Mozzarella sticks were kind of cold. All in all, just a meh experience. I felt bad for the rest of my party since it was kind of my idea to come here. Hopefully, my company was enough to make the evening worthwhile.

Though this dinner wasn’t awful, it certainly wasn’t great. My mom and I ordered off of the 2 for $ 20 menu. Got the chips and corn roasted guacamole which also came with a side salsa. This was the highlight of the meal. I love the thin, crispy chips and the guac and salsa were really good too! Real avocado, chunky even. Yum! I ordered the Santa Fe Steak which came with corn salsa and jalapeño cheddar mashed potatoes. I’m a mild heat kind of person, mostly because I believe that too much heat robs the food of it’s intended flavor. When dishes are too hot I can’t properly taste all of the elements, which is part of what I appreciate about food. My dish was so spicy that it majorly detracted from the flavors of the food. The steak, a 6 oz. sirloin looked like a hockey puck and half of it was all tough gristle but the other half was okay and cooked to medium– I asked for medium rare. Disappointing. The potatoes and corn salsa followed suit. Meh. My mom got the chicken crispers. They were terrible. Crispy was more like mushy. And the chicken wasn’t really trimmed of all of the fat which is gross to bite into. Overall, I would be more inclined to order a margarita and a couple of appetizers over a meal. I’ve only eaten here a couple of times, but I’ve never really liked it. Though their chips are great! But, this is a chain so my expectations were low anyway.

As chains go, this one is a very weak link. For a similar price you can do better at Red Robin, Uno’s, Tully’s, etc. And this location has lowered in quality tremendously over the past two years. It used to be an OK place to stop with the kids, have a beer with dinner, etc. Their menu has shrunk; there’s no more blackened catfish and many of the other slightly more interesting entrees have disappeared. On my most recent visit, the service was horrendous, with servers just walking by and grabbing plates without asking whether we were done with them. The wait staff was like the blind leading the blind, with a trainee learning the ropes from the plate-grabber.

Chili’s is my favorite place to eat. It’s a 2 hour drive to get there but its always worth the trip. The only thing better than the friendly staff is the AWESOME food. Keep it up Chili’s. I’ll be coming back again and again.
