Why is this place closed!!! I moved out of town for a few months and was so excited to get my favorite burger and fries from Charlie’s, only to call a disconnected number and find a «For Lease» sign in the widow! Noooo! Hope it comes back!

Food wasn’t bad but the prices are high for a fast food place, will not go back nothing special going on here

Good spot to grab a burger and study or read for a while. I’m a fan of the salmon burger, grilled veggies and the sweet potato fries. I wish they had a few more healthy options, but I realize its a burger joint so won’t let that impact my rating. Food and fixings are always fresh, I can’t complain.

Nothing out of this world. Food was well prepared and a notch above a mom and pop greasy hamburger joint. But it was pricey and when busy the eating area can feel cramped.

They are set up Fudrucker’s style with ordering what you want at the counter and dressing it up at the toppings bar. No cheese sauce at the bar though. :( You get several choices of bread(French, Texas toast, white, etc) and cheese(American, Garlic Parmesan, provolone, etc). With mine and my DH’s meals it came to $ 18 and some change. They do give a 10% MILITARYDISCOUNT, so that brought down to $ 16.87. Why I took off stars: 1. DECOR. Inside needed a fresh coat of paint and the booths with the desperate advertising on the table tops needs to go. It kinda reminded me of a grubby bar more than a awesome burger joint. 2. WAIT. While their burgers are fresh, it takes forever for them to cook your burger. Yes, except a 30 minute wait time to get your food. It also seems they know one way to cook your burger and that’s charbroiled. 3. TASTE. Since it’s charbroiled the burger is really dry, thus I had to drench it in sauce. I waited for this burger for 30 minutes, it should taste awesome not just, «Meh». 4. FRIES. They weren’t anything special. SUMITUP: You pay almost $ 20(unless you’re military) for dry burgers and so-so fries you waited 30 minutes for. That results in your first time coming in, being your last. I see why they haven’t gotten Clarksville’s best since 2008. Sorry, Charley.

Great hamburgers with different choices of breads and cheeses. Lots of topping choices in toppongs’ bar. Onion rings and fries are average — I think they are a little too greasy and soggy. Free wifi.

The food here is great! The staff has great customer service, The food is fairly prices, the facility is clean, and the Topping bar is always fresh. Where else can you go and add all the toppings you want minus cheese for free locally and the food being freshly made instead of microwaved/pre-portioned? The Menu has a wide variety for all ages. Great place for vegans/carnivores :P

I liked the idea of this place more than the execution. My husband had the beefallo which he raved about and I had the chicken tenders. Both were very good but way overpriced for what we got. SO the food is good but lower in quality than I was expecting based on what we paid. I liked the fries alot but there seemed to be alot. The seasoning on them was delish.

Robert A. drew a comparison to Fuddrucker’s and it’s a pretty good comparison. There are a lot more options though, including what type of bread(I got Texas toast,) patty(beefalo) and cheese(blue.) I also got spent a buck fifty adding on grilled onions and mushrooms and bacon. I don’t like how cheese is an additional fifty cents. I don’t mind paying for something on the ‘fancier’ side like blue cheese but American an extra fifty cents? That’s just UN-American. The grilled veggies though were pretty good but could use a little more just to help the flavor along. The toppings bar is pretty big and looked fresh, and I helped myself to a lot of the veggies-I probably could have done without the grilled veggies and stocked up the fresh(and free!) veggies. The staff there is iffy, granted, my friend and I went when it was slow but they were just lounging around but jumped up when we walked in-they took my order and cooked it quickly but then went right back to lounging at the table when everything was done-kind of slack, in my opinion.

This was my second visit to this place. It’s not bad visually. I compare it to maybe a small Fudrucker’s. You order your own burger, the way you like it, your size, bread, cheese, and grilled toppings. Once complete, you move over to the vegetable/condiment bar and add the rest. I have to say that the taste of the burgers is excellent. I love a place where I can make my own burger, the way want it. Both times I ordered the ½ pounder on french bread, with swiss, grilled onions, mushrooms and bacon. This brings me to the not so good part. On my first visit, they forgot to add the mushrooms to my burger. I got it to go so I didn’t notice until I was home. Also, it took for ever to get my burger. The second time I ordered the same thing. There is a big sign at the front door, pointing out the new management. It seems that the new management made it possible for me to get everything I ordered this time. Unfortunately, the timeliness still has vast room for improvement. For a order of two burgers with toppings, half onion rings and half fries(it’s a 50⁄50 basket… pretty nice) it too a grand total of 30 minutes to get our food. The only people ahead of us were a party of maybe 5(including two kids). The grill is plenty big, so I don’t see why it takes that long to cook food. I could whip up more burgers(especially cooked to medium) on my gas grill at home, in half the time. So, in conclusion, I would recommend this place if you do not mind waiting 30 minutes for something that is basically fast food. Other than that, it’s totally worth the prices(not the dollar menu at BK), as the food quality is very good.

i really like having options, but if you give me too many, it’ll take me til the second coming to decide what to have for dinner. i love that there are options here, but that they are somewhat limited… it’s rather like in-and-out in that fashion. i’m a big fan of the beefalo burger. half beef, half buffalo… i wish it was all buffalo. double the protein, half the fat of beef. but i’ll take what i can get. i went out on a limb today and tried a beefalo with provolone, grilled mushrooms and grilled pineapple on a white bun. i am INLOVE with the pineapple… it was prolly the best decision i made all day. plus, i like that you can put all your own toppings on. my husband and i split the 50⁄50 basket… the onion rings were tasty, if oversized and difficult to eat. and the fries are tasty enuf. plus, they have pepsi products. SOLD! the only downsides were the ridiculously long wait time(almost half an hour for 2 burgers and a 50⁄50 basket), plus i ordered my burger cooked medium and it came out WAY over done. hence, it was a little dry. but still good.

This is like Clarksville’s version of an upscale Five Guys. The service is fast and they are very courteous. The options are terrific! The price is very good for what you get — a burger that’s better for you than the fast food versions.

This place is ok. The menu is kinda weird and it takes a few minutes to sift through and figure out what you want. Its clean, the toppings bar is huge, and burgers are made fresh to order. One down side is its somewhat expensive. Give it a try.

The burgers here are great. You can create your own burger or go with their suggestions. I think the smallest burger is like 1⁄3 lb. They have a veg option as well. As far as food chains go, this place serves some of the best burgers in town.
