The lunch special is a great bargain. The calzones are also huge for the price. We stop in for lunch roughly every other week, and we have consistent service every time. «Studio» has a lot of meanings, and the atmosphere is a mixture of the various definitions. The main room is filled with canned lights that look a bit stage like, and is a nod toward the musical connotation of studio. The walls are also slathered with artwork. Many if not most of them were created by the owner. Overall, I find the theme is different from a lot of the chain restaurants and unique. It isn’t so over the top that it detracts from the meal. There are 4 – 5 TVs places around the dining area. I haven’t had an issue being able to watch something if I want to do so, but I was also happy with the absence of them on every open wall space. So many places plaster the walls with TVs and it can be difficult to not get distracted from normal conversation by a TV directly behind your dinner companion’s head — it is a relief to have them placed sparingly.

It used to be fairly good, although it had long wait times. But it has gone so far down I will not be returning. I agree with another reviewer that the service used to be very good, but those people have left along with the food quality. On my last(and final) visit, with only 3 tables in use, we waited for soft drinks for almost 10 minutes after ordering. Another group came in and sat down about 10 minutes before we left. They hadn’t even gotten menus or been greeted. The place is covered in the owner\cooks original art and he certainly likes the attention. We never received a refill the entire time we were there, yet he’s walking around drinking a coke talking to his friends eating in the dining room. Not one word to us to see if we were okay. Our appetizer(bread sticks) were burnt BLACK. Since nobody bothered to check on us I actually had to go up to the window and ask for the check. The waitress told the owner that we thought the bread sticks were burnt(remember, they were black so it was a little obvious) and that we ‘didn’t like the taste’. Then she quickly let him know I was standing right there(I was at the window, so I could hear but not see him). I’m assuming that was so nothing offensive was said about my opinion of the blackened bread. He curtly replied to take it off the ticket, but still no apology from him nor the waitress. It’s a small place and from my understanding the owner has a string of little places(pizza here, hamburgers there, an Asian place across the street). But if I’m patronizing a small restaurant with barely any customers and the owners there working, I would expect a little more courtesy, especially when my order was burnt. And service took forever… And if the waitress never checked if we needed anything…

My overall impression of this restaurant is that it is a restaurant with great service that falls short on food quality and fails to appreciate the diversity of the diners who walk through their doors. As I wrote this review I struggled with the star rating because the food at this restaurant was so terrible that I really wanted to give them one star. So, I must start by noting that the ONLY reason that this restaurant is not receiving one star is that I had an excellent waitress who was attentive enough to notice that I had not enjoyed my food and proactively discounted the bill as a result without our having asked for a discount. The food was not enjoyable at all. We started with breadsticks and they were extremely bland. The garlic butter that could be elected with them was absolutely necessary. I had a calzone with extra cheese and chicken and the chicken tasted like it had been sitting for several days and then reheated. The breading on the calzone was dry and unpleasant. I ate less than 1⁄3 of the calzone. My boyfriend’s baked spaghetti had far too much sauce and the sauce was overly sweet. I also want to put a special warning on here for lack of appreciation of diversity because this restaurant plays a Christian music radio station over the speaker in the restaurant. This has the potential to create a very uncomfortable situation for non-Christian diners. Final impression; skip this one. There is definatly better dining in Clarksville.

Studio Pizza is AmazinG!!! they hav wings, calzones, sandwiches, strombolis, salads, pasta and of course PIZZA! They have the basic pizza toppings, nothing fancy or special, but it’s fresh. They love to make things cheesy so no need to ask for extra cheese. Crust is regular hand tossed or thin and crispy, which is out of this world. Beverages include soda, juices, wine, bottled beer and draft. The décor is trendy, fun and inviting. There are several TVs to watch while you dine as well. Studio Pizza also owns and runs Stevie B Burgers next door and even though it is a separate restaurant, you can order a burger from them — while you’re at Studio! This place is located right off Veterans Pkwy and I65 next to WalMart behind Cheddars— give it a try and you might think it’s the best pizza in southern Indiana.
