Very friendly owner. He greets all guest at the door. Very cozy atmosphere. Very nice place. I recommend going here for a beer or a casual meal. I will go back when in the area.

Had drinks and food at the bar for lunch. Food was great, cocktails we’re great, bartender was friendly and efficient, lots of TVs if you want to watch sports. Had a great time.

I had lunch and my chicken sandwich was just ok but the pizza and calzone were really bad as if they were frozen then heated up. The BBQ rib tip were also bad. The sauce seemed store bought. The french fries are the crinkle fries like they have in school cafeterias. Sorry!

Total junk, food is just like I used to get when I was a kid at my school cafeteria, undercooked food and soggy crinkle cut fries, im pretty sure they use the frozen hamburger patties from Costco, service was great though nothing bad to say about the waiters/waitress. The reason for the one star is for not only their terrible cuisine but also their customers, customers who are obviously way to drunk and need to be cut off, customers running in and out with lit cigarettes and drunk customers who harass other customers who are trying to enjoy their meal. I was told by a drunk MALE customer he would rather have oral relations with the Quarterback of the Raiders then the Quarterback of the 49ers over and over, I also got to meet his son who was in the military at some point in his life, the son who was walking around shirtless with a cigarette in his mouth, why did he need to tell me this? Sounds weird right? Imagine how I felt when I was told this. Unfortunately it seems the bartender encourages this behavior and this behavior will be the ultimate demise of this business.

The first time I tried to come here it was 9:00 on a Saturday night. Since this was a bar and grill I was hoping I could still get a bite to eat. However, even though bar was still open the kichen was not. The second visit was a much better experience. Maybe perhaps because we strolled in around 5:00 this time. Our group of four was seated in the back that has two t.v.s with two different sports games on. The bread tastes like a combination of regular white bread and corn bread. It was very good, and they had no problem bringing us plate after plate of it. I also love that they give you a side of marinara with it. We started with The Sampler: mozzarella sticcks, fried zucchini, onion rings, jalapeño poppers, fries, and chicken wings. A deep-fried plethera of tastiness to satisfy all cravings. For my entrée I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad. A hefty portion of mixed greens with all the normal Cobb salad toppings: bleu cheese dressing, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, and a lot of bacon. The salad also comes with a heaping amount of avocado and Gorgonzola cheese. A very big and tasty salad it was. The entire staff was very nice, and all the staff(bussers, servers) were helping one another out. They made for a very pleasant dinner.

Went a few years ago it was awful. Gave it another go… WOW! Gorgonzola salad is delicious! The Mediterranean calzone is a must try. Great place to bring family

This is probably an ok bar, but if you go here on a concert night, they have a different menu than the one online. There were no vegetarian options.

The food isn’t the best. My boyf and I came for beers and dinner. We ordered the calamari and the buffalo wings and shared the shrimp Gorgonzola salad. The wings were good, interesting that the wing sauce was on the sides not on the wings. The calamari was very plain and the salad was gross. It tasted odd and I was a little weary eating it Bc I had food poisoning the week before(not from this restaurant). The server was nice and energetic. We enjoyed her enthusiasm. Though she wasn’t as attentive, but I think it was Bc the restaurant was short-staffed and it was a concert night. It took a while to pay out. My boyf had went to look for the server, but couldn’t find her. He asked the hostess who was the only one who was available and asked if he could pay out. The hostess had told him that she couldn’t do it and he needed to go find his server and she then Proceeded to play on her phone. Not impressed w the customer service from the lazy and unhelpful hostess. This place is a last resort bar for my boyf and I. Not coming for food.

Stopped for lunch after passing this place a million times. Ordered a meatball sandwich and fries which was amazing! Fresh French roll, very delish meatballs covered in cheese and just the right amount of sauce. Everything complimented each other allowing every bite to be the same. Wonderfully done! Fries were piping hot as was the sandwich. This is a bar atmosphere which is fine. I didn’t know that coming in so I’m glad I came alone the first visit. It seems there are a good number of regulars that come in for lunch. I can see why. The bartender/server is very nice and efficient. She talks with everyone but not to the point of ignoring others. Just enough. She seems to know people well and can read people she’s never met. Good job!

We did not like one of the meals we ordered and asked for a different meal. They charged us for 50% of the meal we didn’t eat. Server said it was best she could do to give us her employee discount. Never checked in on us to refill drinks. Giving 3 stars only because the Lasagna special might have been the best tasting I’ve ever had.

Came here on Friday night the bar was packed so we decided to sit in dining area instead, we sat for about 15 minutes before anyone approached us, which was odd since there was one other couple in there. We were given fresh bread with marinara sauce which was very delicious, Then our server Brianna greeted us, we started with the calamari which was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection the cocktail sauce was yummy, the tarter sauce was a little to sweet for liking. However I didn’t like that we didn’t get refills on our waters or get our table pre bussed our table after we were done with our appetizers, until we got our entrées. I had fettuccini with sausage, sun dried tomatoes and a creamy pesto it was a little heavy but was okay on flavor. Server checked on us once but was very sweet. I was to stuffed for dessert but overall experience wasn’t bad.

The boyfriend and I visited while taking a day trip/drive in the area. We wanted a drink and quick snack and were both very happy with what we got. The artichoke dip and sweet potato fries were very good — as was the service. The atmosphere was laid back, too — although it was a weekday. If we lived nearby, we would definitely go back again.

The food here was totally awesome. A friend and myself each had a personal pizza and they were the bomb! I wished that I could have taken the left overs home, but we were on our way to a concert. The popcorn shrimp appy was awesome as well. Only negative is that it is sooooooo loud and so busy. Surprisingly for how busy it was we had pretty good service. Would like to go back on an off hour if Im in the area and/or much much earlier than just before the concert. Lots of concert goer’s before the show.

David and I go on Sundays or during happy hour. The happy hour menu is great and the drinks are well made. We are always welcomed with a smile and have great service. We eat in the the bar area and it is always clean. We have enjoyed our many times here and will continue to come back

I love Pavilion Bar and Grill! This is a very small restaurant and bar in the same shopping area as Safeway. You will see the bar to the right as you walk in. There is outside dining available. The inside dining portion of the restaurant is down a hallway. The dining area is very small. We came on a Thursday night and were seated right away. They bring water and bread to your table right away(in our case, before the server came by). The server must have been the same one that was mentioned in a previous review — she wore shorts and a beat up Oakland As t-shirt. The person who busses the tables was far better dressed. I am completely shocked that the owner allows her to dress this way. Had she not introduced herself, I would have never guessed she worked there. But, she was friendly and efficient. The food is amazing! Hands down, the grilled chicken salad was the best salad I’ve had anywhere! They add fresh strawberries and apples and it is simply divine. My husband ordered the spinach salad and my son ordered pasta. We all enjoyed our meals. One thing that is off-putting is how loud the dining room is. The owner really should invest in acoustical ceiling panels or something. The noise from every table in the small room bounces off the walls and you have to raise your voice to be heard by your party. The diners sound much louder than they really are. It was pretty miserable. Besides the server’s perplexing attire and the noise, I am a fan.

I had the cheeseburger and my fiancée had the pork chops, we were both happy with our meals. Our server was great, attentive, not overbearing but genuine. We also had calamarie which was good, they have a dipping sauce with it(not the tarter sauce) that was great. Overall we has a great experience and will be returning for sure.

This place is bewildering. It is mostly a neighborhood bar. And then there is a dining room area in the back which you can still hear the loud bar patrons. Our server was awesome. She could have sold ice to Eskimos she was so good. We had two of the daily specials. Chicken cordon bleu was definitely a pre bought item. Lasagna came out looking better than … well like said our server was very good in selling the menu to us. Hence one thing is for sure and that would be the stiff drinks from the bar!

This restaurant is the go to for me and my bestie when we are hanging out in her neck of the woods. Love the wings here– they are crispy and have a great wing sauce! I also really like the caprese salad which is light and yummy. Both dishes are consistent on each and every visit. The drinks are always on point and the staff is very friendly. The value is great for the amount of food and drinks we get here. I will definitely return!

Despite the stuffy, loud environment –this place may not be that bad. I have been curious about checking this place out for years now.;Not because it struck me as anything special, but just for the fact that I have driven passed it for years on prior routs to work; and being I now live within almost walking distance from it, I of course had to give it a shot. So after having a really successful day at work, I decided to just stop in and have a drink and possibly something to eat before I headed home. Located in the Safeway Shopping center just off Ygnacio Valley rd, this place is not hard to miss at all. I would have never of thought this place was an Italian restaurant due to the Name of Pavilion and the overall exterior of the building. Well come to my surprise, it was completely different than imagined. I personally think the layout of the place is horrible. I first walked in to an extremely loud stuffy bar, that almost forced me to leave. The bar area almost reminded me of a run down taqueria straight out of Mexico. Certainly not impressive. I did however, really want a Lemon Drop, so I asked the extremely friendly host If I could just sit in the restaurant area to have a drink, he said yes and assisted me to the back restaurant area, which was much less noisy and certainly less stuffy… ugh. I of course ordered a Lemon Drop. It turned out to be ok. I also scanned their menu, which appears to have a variety of tasty looking dishes, with most of them being your standard Italian dishes. I was not too hungry, so I just wanted something light. I then noticed they had tomato basil soup, which I ended up ordering a small cup of(you can order small or large). They served bread to me while waiting, which I really did not need, but they were presented quite appealing to the eye, which lead me to take a small bite of one which turned out to be actually fluffy with a nice garlic taste. Soup then arrived fairly quickly, looking absolutely delicious and it turn out to be just that. Far better than I expected. Creamy, with nice thick chunks of tomato, slices of onion and just flavored wonderfully. I really was curious to try there special of the Chicken Cordon Blue(I am a huge fan of Chicken Cordon) however, being I was not too hungry, I decided to end it with my soup. My total for everything turned out be 11. and some change. Certainly not bad. Service throughout my visit, was extremely accommodating from both the server and the host. Overall, if you enjoy loud, stuffy, packed bars, this may be the place for you(certainly not my style) which is why I sat in the back. The food for the one little item I had, turned out to be extremely fresh and tasty and my drink was decent. Prices seem to be fairly reasonable and I was really satisfied with how accommodating and friendly the staff were. Certainly decent enough to have me curious to check them out, however, at more of a less busy time and day.
