This place has been here forever ~ I’m glad they’re still open! I’ve lived so close for the last few years but kind of forget that it’s here because it’s only open at night. They have a lot of tables, cheap prices, and some(bar) food and drinks(alcohol too). There are arcade games, and service at the front desk is friendly. Pool league was playing on a few tables earlier this evening(Wednesday night) but it was mostly empty aside from that group. I have seen it pretty busy though — especially on weekends. There’s a faint smoky smell, but it’s not intolerable and the place is overall very clean. I enjoyed the good music while I was there and didn’t get a drink but did notice how cheap beer was. I wish they were open during the day — at least on weekends. I’d bring cash and come by more often.

This is a decent pool hall. The GOOD: It has decent parking, plenty of tables, beer and snacks and tv monitors throughout. The owner is very nice. The BAD: The quality of the tables are not that great. Most are level, but the cloth is too slow and thick. Need to replace with simonis or comparable. The issue is that the ventilation is not good in this building and in the summer can get very humid. Pool balls, tables etc do not fair well in a humid environment. Cash only joint.

I came into town for work for 2 days. As I left work I noticed Rack Em Up Billiard Club so I flipped a u-turn and went in. I was amazed at how many tables they had not to mention other games. I met Javi, the owner. He’s a great guy. I talked to him while i watched the Lady League pool players compete against each other. After i finished my buffalo wings and Corona, i rented a 9′ table and practiced for a while. That table played great! The cloth was in great condition. It played fast and true! Every time my job has me come to Concord or anywhere near it? I’ll come over here to play pool!

I like this place because it has decent prices(How the equation of number of people/tables x duration of time adds up to total cost, I’ll never figure out) but its pretty cheap. Everything was clean and in working conditions, however the décor is FAIRLY outdated(it could have been the 90s or the 80s for all we knew). Oh and one more thing… If you don’t play music on the pay-per-song jukebox, NOMUSICWILLPLAY. So if no ones willing to load up the box with credits, it is dead quiet in there. And we just didn’t have enough single bills to keep the thing rolling all night.

Overall a nice pool hall. There are plenty of full sized tables and most of the people seem to be pretty down to earth. Occasionally you may get some«wankstas» rolling through but that doesn’t scare me. I don’t drink alcohol when I go there but it is available. They also have candy and mints at the front. The owners seem to be pretty chill people. Good sticks, good lighting, but the bathrooms kinda suck. Overall a good place to go if you’re looking for a good time out.

one of the best pool halls in the area. it is open till 12⁄11 the guy that works there speaks little english, but speaks spanish. never cards me which is weird. and keep in mind that it is CASHONLY. it is also 18 and up. a good place when there is that one person who isn’t of age yet.

As far as pool halls go, this one is pretty much what I expected. The other reviews mention that it was a gang hang out, and even on a sunday afternoon there were a bunch of young guys hanging out in the parking lot. The tables were ok, cues were what you’d expect of house cues(mostly crooked). The rates were good though, $ 10 an hour for 2 people. All cash and the ATM in the place was broken, so stop by an ATM before going.

The business itself is fine-and-dandy, but seriously? Is this where the local gangs hold their Town Hall Meetings? My husband AND brother were on the verge of getting jumped by 10 guys in the parking lot just because my brother asked for a cigarette. Come on, guys.

Ideally I would give this place a 3 and a half but it doesn’t let me. The place is big(over 20 tables, which means rarely is there a wait, maybe sat night). The tables are all 9 foot full size tables and a portion have recently had new felt stretched over them, not sure about the slate. Very simple, nothing extra, you don’t have to be 21 though they do serve alcohol. About as basic as it gets, and the crowd is not the least bit upscale or pretentious but generally very friendly and a lot less«check me out» than Masses in WC. Fair price(10 an hour for two people) and 5 bucks for a half pint of beer. Sometimes seems a bit ghetto, but I would rather that than redneck jocks who all think they’re the greatest thing since sliced bread. Someone else but that they do not accept credit cards, they do… maybe it changed. Mixed jukebox music.

This is probably the best place to play some pool in this area. There is almost always a good crowd except for a few occasions when fight break out but thats common with just about any pool hall. They usually have a good crowd because they let people of any age in and you will get all types of people playing their. They have some good beer to choose from. The tables are pretty nice for the most part. I wouldn’t expect the best sticks unless you bring your own. They have a lot of tables which is good cause this place does get busy. This place has been my local hang out for many years now.

Not really worth the time and effort to drive through all that traffic. The worst part is they only take cash. The tables weren’t branded but I’m suspecting Brunswick. They also have one bar table and a couple of three cushion billiards tables. Some tables were in better condition than others. They also had arcade games. I just get a ghetto vibe from this place though and even saw some people smoking what smelled like weed in the parking lot. Never again for this place for me.

I’ve spent many hours at Rack Em Up in the past years. It’s a nice, simple poolhall with lots of tables. The rates are cheaper than Masses, and the atmosphere is very chill. On weekend nights it’s gets loud, but that’s to be expected, and the jukebox selections are usually varied and interesting. One of the big pluses is that they have two billiard tables(you know, the ones without pockets), so you can play something quite different if you ever feel the need for a change. Personally, I like to start with a little 3-cushion billiards, then move over to the pool tables. There’s also a coin-op table that’s usually pretty hot when it’s busy, as well as foosball, and some various arcade games. In all, a fun little pool hall. Cash only… so hit the ATM beforehand.

A little torn here, it’s one of my favorite places but I’m not sure it rates more than 3 either. As a pool hall it’s 3 stars, has decent tables, tough to find a straight house cue. Foosball table with stiff rods(insert Beavis comment here). Two 9′ tables modified into billiard tables by covering the pockets(normal sized balls instead of billiard balls). No cocktail waitresses. Why do I like it? People were amazingly friendly, which I haven’t found much of since I left Texas. Nice selections on the jukebox. It was a nice laid back place, possibly a little seedy but still good times to be had. Oh, and there’s actually some three cushion action to be had.
