This is definitely an interesting looking place with its duel drive thru and mini-​dining area. It also has walk-​up service as well. It is a good fit for the location.
Ordered the Champ (no cheese), fries, and soda. For a drive-​thru the service was efficient, prompt, and better than expected. I guess it is nice when you get acknowledged and treated as a person not a cog in the process. They were definitely friendly. The food met expectations and was good. I enjoyed the spicy fries.

This Checkers location has decent food. Its not the best but ive never had a bad meal. Beware, if you decide to sit out and eat there, you will be asked for money from local homeless people and people just getting out of jail. It happens to me everytime. But I go there on late nights for ice cream and its really good.

Having eaten here a few times, I am still undecided where Checkers falls in the world of fast food. For chicken, no one can rival Chik-​fil-​a. For burgers, on the east coast it is 5 guys and on the west coast it is in-​n-​out. Checkers does a little bit of each. All of their items are generally good, although few of their items have any healthy qualities. Their menu variety and being open on Sunday makes it a great option if you have different preferences in your family.
