Just average Chinese. Locally owned. I usually get carry out. Not a good place to eat in.

Delivery time for horrible and food was barely warm.

Tried a lot of different Chinese restaurants in the area I think that this is by far the best. I love the flavor of spicy dishes but I don’t want them to be very hot this restaurant is very accommodating and making a dish like chicken with garlic sauce flavorful and not too hot. I think in Any restaurant it really matters what you order.
They have one dish called Blackpepper chicken that is maybe my favorite. I would never have even tried it is someone at the restaurant had not recommended it and now I just love it. Another thing they have is which is kind of unique is Chinese donuts for dessert and they are way too good. I have never gotten ill from the food here. I was frankly surprised to see what other people have written. Try it you will like it, maybe skip the tofu.

This place is bad i order some food and the food tested old and it looked old and bad service and pricy stay away from this place i will give a no star but i cant. THE FOOOD was. AWFUL.

Used to order from them all the time — but after getting food sickness twice from their fried tofu I have decided to go elsewhere. Sad because their food was probably the best chinese in the Winston-​Salem/​Clemmons area — but at the risk of getting sick, no thanks.

The service was quick and acceptable. The food was horrible. Didn’t taste fully cooked. Rice was mushy and tasted like it had sat in water for days. Will not be ordering again.

Food is good, service/​execution sucks. We did pick up, they forgot to pack the rice n egg roll for the cashew chicken and our qt of egg drop soup. Called once got back home — owner? Wouldn’t deliver missing items, finally agreed if we came back 6 miles round trip) he would «give» us our food and refund part of our $ 50 to go order. Arrived to pick up missing food, owner not on site and very surly cashier stated «I can’t refund I’m not the owner»

This was my first visit to Number 1 China. I created an account on line, ordered dinner, and picked it up. It was ready when I arrived and it was delicious, this will be a mainstay when we need quick good food.

For take out Chinese Number 1 China is by far my favorite in the area. Where I live in Winston-​Salem it is just a quick ten minute drive. I am a big fan of their Sesame Chicken, they use big chunks of all white meat. The spare ribs were good as well as the dumplings.
If you are looking for quick Chinese takeout that makes you still want to eat it the next day, this is your place!
