This shop was a pleasure to work with. I rented a bike one Saturday and they were very helpful getting the bike set to my specs and worked with me on a very fair basis when I returned the rental with some minor damages. Was a big fan of all our many interactions.

I came into the shop about a week ago in search of a case to ship my bike in across the country. I was concerned about my bike getting damaged in transit and wanted to know the best way for it to travel. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to get it packed for me and provide me with information on a company that ships bikes. They provided my with the measurements and weight of my packaged bike and I was able to arrange for thr bike to be picked up from the shop. I will definitely be coming here for any of my cycling needs in the future

I’ve taken my bike here a couple times for minor tune ups. I was in the market for some new bikes for my kids and possibly a new mountain bike. The staff here is generally helpful, however when I told them I was looking for a kids bike they quickly lost interest. It seemed they were really hoping I was in the market for an expensive carbon fiber road bike as that was what I was just looking at when they came over and asked if I needed help. I looked at the Trek Jet for my son but in the end didn’t purchase it. The store is extremely well organized but heavily features road and triathlon bikes and gear. They have a small kids area with a table and some coloring stuff to keep them occupied while you look around. The repairs that were done to my bike were always quick but a bit high priced, definitely not the cheapest in the area. One big knock on this place, other than the staff always looking to make a sale, is the fact that most of their gear seems to be overpriced or at the very least priced at the top of the market. I’ve been here multiple times, sometimes just to browse and see what is new on the market, and each time I got the impression that once they figured I wasn’t they type that was going to plop down $ 4000 on a bike or $ 175 on some shoes, I was kind of forgotten.

Back in August I wanted to get back into cycling as I grew up on BMX and Mountain bikes and rode them for hours every day. After 10 or so years of not riding anymore I truly missed it and wanted to get a nice mountain bike to start trail riding with. I visited several shops in the area and then hit up The Cycling Hub. Immediately I was greeted and we started talking about what I was looking for, how I wanted to ride, how often and so on. We selected a few different mountain bikes in different price ranges that fit me and I took each for a nice lengthy ride. I finally settled on one that felt the best and rode the way I wanted. They fit me to the bike, I bought a few accessories and went home with my new shiny Trek X-Caliber. After a few rides and a few visits to the shop for more accessories, we bought my wife a mountain bike as well and since then have purchased two more road bikes. Each transaction has been nothing short of fantastic. From the bike selection, ordering process, complimentary 30 day maintenance, bike fitting, part installation and general knowledge of the people that work here. It has almost reached the point of where they now feel like family when we walk in the door and look forward to our next transaction, order or group ride with them. Every person here has always made the upmost effort to make our experience as good as it can be and they truly succeed.

They were very prompt doing the bike work and called to let us know what repairs cost. However, we were very disappointed with their integrity. We took used bikes in to be repaired. We knew of a couple of things that needed work, which we mentioned to them and that was all they handled. When we got the bikes back, we found other things mechanically wrong with both. We had asked that they give each a thorough check to see if other things needed fixing. It was obvious that they were only interested in getting the minimal done and getting them back to us regardless if they were ready or safe.

I searched the SRAM website for authorized service in central Florida after a spill on my bike jumped the chain and appeared to damage the dérailleur hanger. We selected«The Cycling Hub» because their website seemed so professional and emphasized service. We were apprehensive about potential repair availability and cost since the bike wash“t purchased in Central Florida. We couldn’t have made a better choice! They are very competent, honest and fast! They determined that an adjustment was all that was needed. That was a relief since I thought the dérailleur tail had bent so it cost much less than I was concerned it would. We live about an hour away and were delighted that we could leave it at the shop for a few hours and go down the road to Panera Bread for refreshments before taking a hike in beautiful Lake Louisa State Park to have a fun day in the region while repairs were underway. We appreciated their honesty and the fair price and would definitely return for purchase or service in the future. Staff is a pleasure to work with.

You will not find a better bike shop in Lake County or Orange County period. Can’t and won’t get in to details about Clermont Bikes :(and will never go back to Winter Garden Wheel Works, even if I needed to use their facilities. If your looking for great customer service from people who care, this is your place. From their bike techs to the sales staff you will find honest knowledgable, and friendly people that take the time to help a newbie with a slim budget, the same as the would a semi-pro with big bucks. They are NOT about the $$$$ that’s for sure. My family has been riding for about a year now an we love the sport, feel better about ourselves and Cycling Hub played a HUGE part of that! My family feels like the show Cheers when we walk in because they know all our names and greet us with the warmest welcome possible. We feel like we are part of their family and we love that. I work at Disney and we prize ourselves on customer service and in comparison the Cycling Hub is definitely up to par and goes above an beyond exceeding expectations. Don’t look anymore for that shop. It’s here in Lake County. The Cycling Hub.

We are from out of town, came here to do a few days of hills training and the West Orange Trail. We had shopped with them once before. One of my pedals broke today. They set me up with a set to use as rental until mine get back from a warranty repair at my local shop. Great, just great accommodating service to save my trip and keep me riding! I also bought some maintenance items and Juan gave me very good tips on how to use them. Thanks Guys!

I go here for most of my maintenance that I can not perform myself. Service is quick, VERY honestly priced(they even fixed a brake cable for me that they found a problem with that I had no idea about, for free), and honest employees that don’t try to nickle and dime you. Retail cycling stuff is expensive and this is on point with most other retail shops(clothing, parts, etc). Not that big of a variety of goods, but they are pretty trek/bontrager brand loyal, so everything and anything trek/bontrager they will have. Friendly, happy staff and a nice shop. I am consistently a happy customer of theirs.

Have been to this store on many occasions and have gotten nothing but the greatest service. Even when the store was slammed they worked on my bike while I waited and got me going again. Staff are polite and want to get you the right piece of equipment. If they don’t have it they will get it for you quickly. Will be making this a frequent stop!

Horrible attitudes from the owners and the 2 guys working there. Bashed BMC to try to get me to buy a Gary Fisher… Practically told me I was foolish to buy a BMC as well as any frameset other than a 54 cm regardless of how I felt on it. Snobby, stuck up, don’t care attitude. A little sincerity would’ve been nice. Really got the feeling that they are ALLABOUTMONEY not making the customer feel welcome. Not a warm inviting place by any means. My wife told me to buy a bike twice as expensive as the one I was looking at($ 2800) as long as I did not buy it from there. That says a lot.
