I hate giving such a low review, but I feel like this thrift store deserves it. The store smells musty and seems dirty overall. I have never found anything worth buying — mostly low quality/damaged/faded/stained overpriced clothes(a faded Ralph Lauren with holes and a stain is not worth $ 7 just because of the brand name.) The last time I gave it a try, I literally found some kind of larvae on a shirt. I was grossed out enough to not go back. I understand that no thrift store can prevent this completely, but I’ve found plenty of other local thrift stores that are much cleaner and have better prices.

Selection here is very good. Prices are a bit higher than other stores in the area, but they have daily sales items(50% off) by tag color/department. Wednesdays pretty much everything is half off. We spent over $ 100 on our last trip. Unworn/gently worn name brand clothes and shoes can be found here, for instance, Coach and Prada. Where this store lacks is they only have 2 registers and the place is always packed. Also the selection of furniture is terrible.

On a whim the wife and I decided to wander the aisles of the local Salvation Army thrift store. This place is big and well lit. It brought back memories of Gold Circle and Zayers. Row upon row of clothing, hanging cloth rainbows carefully arranged by color, everything’s well labeled and the place is pretty clean. Shoes up front, there’s a wall of household goods along the wall — white tea cups, slightly chipped mugs, pots, pans, coats, scarves. Is that a weight-lifting belt hanging by a Harry Potter colored scarf? As you continue to make your way around you can’t help but be fascinated by the items that people have donated. There are bed sheets hung like shower curtains, a small set of shelves populated with lamps, coffee makers without the pots, crock pots with no dials and tube televisions with missing remotes. There’s a small, slightly depressing toys section in the far back corner. Piles of stuffed animals, flop-eared bunnies, worn teddy bears, a green frog all with vacant stares stacked upon each other like fluffy cord-wood. I noticed a faded box complete with the image of a boy, face smeared with posed wonder staring at a plastic city. Astrolite. Now this one’s a classic. I checked the box, straight outta 1969. There are books, VHS tapes and baby clothes. I thought I even saw a «vintage» sign over one of the metal racks. Vintage? Walking around I get the distinct impression that the entire place is «vintage». Everything’s cheap, but then again, that’s one hell of a relative term anymore. It made me thankful that I can still feel that way.

Big, clean place with tons of clothing and some household goods. Was pleased at how well organized the place is. Wednesdays are Family Day(or a name close to that) where clothing is half off. I got a great blazer for work for only $ 2! Looking forward to being a regular.

Big, bright, bulging with items. I liked how the household goods were grouped by color. Lots of furniture as well. Daily specials posted at the door. Also, they’re open until 9 pm.
