The review should of said January’s 4, 2016 sorry for the mistake. Used to be our favorite place. My wife always looked forward to visiting with the fun staff. We We visited Feb. 4, 2015. Not sure what happened but the lady that helped us didn’t seem to know much about her winery. The gift shop wasn’t what it used to be. Was very disappointed.

If you come by Graystone, you should really be stopping for the ports. I honestly don’t remember anything about the wine that they were tasting. Our hostess seemed a little preoccupied with something even though we were the only ones there on a Sunday. It wasn’t to the point of being rushed, but definitely the fastest tasting we’ve done. Be sure to pick your favorite port and bring a bottle home to pair with some very good chocolate.

The wines are okay, but the ports are fabulous, an interesting variety among a small number. Not cheap, but good. Worth a visit, definitely.

Unique tasting room. Reminds me of some of the older tasting rooms in Paso Robels, CA. $ 25.00 for a 375 ml bottle of Port is a «tad too much» to pay. Also, I recommend they use wine glasses to taste the table wines offered … not«port thimbel glasses»

One of the few wineries that stay open till 6pm! The let you taste the 3 ports they make and 4 other wines from other local wineries that do not have their own tasting rooms I got the 2003 version for the hubby. We also got some amazing fudge! I got the cherry port fudge, my friend got the almond toffee — we were both super excited by our purchases! Cute tasting room — but small — good thing it was a Thursday and not crowded. Staff was pretty friendly, but seemed a little weary of us.

Best Port in the Valley!!! They stick with what they know, how to make a fantastic handcrafted port. I am a port lover and have ports from all over. Only port i would recommend in the valley. This winery is a secret gem, and i am amazed how fast my cases go. must try if in colorado

This was our first stop on our wine tasting tour in Palisade. I felt the need to buy a port but was glad that the husband talked me out of it because it was our first stop. We actually found a better port at another stop.
