Zinburger

My favorite burger place! Expensive and a la carte but it’s the first time I ever had manchego cheese. Love it!

The Kobe Burger here is incredible. Sure, it is pricey (at around $ 15), but you are paying for quality and taste. The burger comes out fresh and hot. It may be the only burger that I could eat without a bun. I could literary rip the burger to shreds with my bare fingers, which indicates its outstanding tenderness and juiciness. I could take a fork to the patty and eat it like a steak if I wanted to, without any knife needed to cut.
The fries are also very intriguing. There are a plethora of options offered, including zucchini fries, truffle fries (made with truffle oil), and regular fries. The zucchini fries are very good and are the standout for me. They are unique and it’s hard to stop at only a few.
My recommendation is that you take advantage of Zinburger’s happy hour and rewards program. I believe they have a card that takes off a certain number off of your bill if you spend over a certain amount. As far as happy hour, I am fairly certain that fries before 4pm on weekdays are half price. When you have a hungry family that orders 5+ orders of fries, this could equate to a quick $ 20-​$ 25 savings off the bat.
There’s a reason this Zinburger location was ranked in NJ’s top burgers. The hype is real and no joke. Enjoy that Kobe!

Zinburger has to get nailed for the service we received last night. However, let me start with the positives.
–Wine selection and prices (for the most part)
–friendliness of the staff
–quality of the food ordered (farm salad, truffle fries)
Now, onto the reason why my experience only earned Zinburger 3 stars… The service was pretty slow and sloppy for a thursday evening at 6 pm. Having worked in the food service industry for years, I am always sensitive to service. That being said, I understand what its like to be in the weeds and overwhelmed, so I’m very lenient when I see servers running around truly frazzled. This was not the case. Our server was checking her phone on the floor (eek), and never cleared a single dish away. Our empty drinks were also left on the table in between rounds. Not ok. We rounded out the meal by having our check dropped on a completely dirty table, and then the server never came back to retrieve the signed slips. Like i said, I’d be more understanding if this was a peak dinner time and everyone was visibly busy, but this just seemed like carelessness to me. Had the service been better, Zinburger would have earned another star from me.

I love this place, even though it is really pricey for a burger joint. I’m assuming I’m paying for the ambiance. I love love love the spicy green chile fries! I could just eat those alone… They’re shakes are great, I always get the strawberry cheesecake. Of all the burgers I’ve tried, I have not been disappointed with any. The Blanco burger is amazing, zinburger is great too. I love the kids menu, plenty of food for my 7 yr olds to enjoy and be full afterwards. Everything tastes fresh! I don’t come here as often as I would like because again, it’s expensive, so we come here as a treat meal or celebration hence the 4 stars instead of five.

Oh, Zinburger, we were so in love once. I’d daydream of your burgers and wine and imagine a lifelong partnership between the two of us… But the truth is that quality at ZInburger varies, and the last couple of times I’ve been, it hasn’t been great. As their name suggests, they’re big into burgers and wine (and milkshakes!), boasting truffle fries as well. While the fries have stayed solid, the burgers and related toppings haven’t been as fresh, flavorful, and well-​proportioned as past visits.
That being said, I really like the Malbec/​Syrah wine on the menu. And I appreciate that they take down your cell number if you’re waiting for a table, so you can roam around a bit. But my heart still pines for burgers of old…

The burger meat here is fantastic and there are variety of toppings to choose from.
I split the Zinburger, truffle fries, and sweet potato fries. The truffle fries hare loaded with truffle oil and are super tasty. The sweet potato fries are also delicious, nice and crispy on the outside. The burger is HUGE! It’s very tasty and I enjoyed every bite.
The ambiance is super casual and the waiters are very friendly. I tried a friend’s milkshake and it was the perfect consistency with a good flavor. Would defo stop in here again.

Let me tell you bout this BURGER!
I’ll get to the other stuff in a minute. But because this burger was so good I gotta talk about it.
I ordered the «Breakfast Burger» which comes with avocado, a fried egg, lettuce, applewood smoked bacon, and mayo (yummers, right?) and I got w side of chipotle mayo. Now, this burger is $ 12.25 but I honestly do not regret paying that price for this burger. It’s delicious. It also comes with three pickle slices on the side which I appreciated because I don’t like warm pickles.
The flavors in this burger work together so perfectly, it amazing. Now please be warned, this is NOT CUTE FOOD. You will be getting down and dirty so save this place for your 5^th or 6^th date. It’s a big sloppy sandwich. I actually ended up taking a bun off and cutting mine up.
Service is decent. I came on a Sunday night and sat at the bar. I will definitely be back!!!

This is a great place! I came here in Oct 2015 with a group of friends and we had a great time. We came on half-​bottle wine night and their burgers were discounted as well, which was a great deal. My burger was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. We also tried the onion wings, sweet potato fries, and the truffle fries, which were all very good, though I though the onion rings were the best. The wine was also quite good and paired perfectly with the burgers and sides. There’s plenty of parking here and it’s fun place overall!

When I first started going to Zinburger, they were more of a 4 star establishment to me. The burgers were top notch, the drinks were great, and the service was always accommodating. Unfortunately, I agree with Diane C. when she says the burgers have just not been up to their previous standards. I’m not sure what happened, but they definitely taste different.
I usually try a different burger every time I go. Last night I had the Blanco burger and it was pretty good. It had a bit of spice to it because of the chipotle mayo, but nothing too crazy. The guac and pico de gallo added a little extra flavor to the meal. It was a MESS to eat, but I didn’t mind too much, though maybe my dining partners did. I ordered the burger medium well, but it was pink all throughout. Luckily I don’t mind my burgers pink, but when I order medium well, I assume there will only be a little pink in the middle. I always order the double truffle fries and they never disappoint. They are so flavorful! Also, the wines are delicious and always at an affordable price.
The place is always packed when I go, so maybe the chefs in the back are a bit overwhelmed and take less care with how they are cooking the burger. If you come during a Friday or Saturday night, you may be looking at an hour long wait. The atmosphere is nice, the fries are always delicious, and the servers are pretty helpful.

This is a proper burger sitting place. The ambiance is quite good. They do have a huge place with lot of tables and space for bar.
We went there on a busy Saturday evening. The service was bit slow but I did not mind as it was totally packed.
We ordered chicken sandwiches (There are two chicken sandwiches on menu) along with the fries. We had great expectation on the food BUT the food was just average for the price. I will put smashburger ahead of Zinburger.
Overall its a OK place !

Zinfully Awesooome (lego movie voice)! We happen to finally say you know what lets try Zinburger and was not disappointed whatsoever. When you walk in they open the door for you, which was different. The entire has so much open space and when you walk in it does have a ZIN FEELING. We were immediately seated and helped on our lovely choices, by our awesome waitress.
All the employees are in blue denim jeans, white button down shirt and red belt. Not sure why some were in shorts and others in jeans. So this place allows you to build your own burger with whateva toppings you want, but they also have their own burgers set up as well. If you are not in the mood for burgers you can salads or you can burger with fish or chicken I believe. They have awesome drinks. have to try the GIRL NEXT DOOR AND BLUE MOON!
I had the Applewood Burger with mushrooms and it was soooooooo delish on my dish! It was juicy and flavored. In addition, truffle fries and onion rings! The truffle fries were crispy with sprinkles of paramesan cheese. Onion rings were crispy and not over breaded at all. the reason i mention is that is because sometimes you go to places and they put so much breading on the onion that as soon as you bite it the onion comes right out… not this time.
Now piece de resistance is the fresh cream banana pie was HUGE + SWEET + LOVED IT! The shakes are also awesome as well.
The great part is you can earn points by signing up for there VIP CLUB, but points only work on the food, which is :-/​but most restaurants dont over that.
NOW PRICE – EXPENSIVE FOR A BURGER, FRIES, DRINKS, ONION RINGS, DESERT AND SHAKE… comparing to other burger places… FINAL BILL ABOUT $ 72.00. No 5 stars because the price a little pricey.

After dining here very sporadically over the last several years, I’m now considered a regular by Unilocal’s standards aka I’ve dined in July and August. Zinburger is a great concept combining nice wines with quality burgers. But wine is not the only beverage available to imbibe in. There is a full bar featuring lovely wines, craft beers, and hard alcohol. And while alcohol is great, it’s got nothing on the milk shakes. On our dine a few days ago, I was trying to decide between 3 shakes. I told Carly (our waitress) my choices, and she suggested I go with the Bars of Zin (chocolate ice cream, hazelnut spread, Kit Kat pieces, and whipped cream). It was an excellent suggestion! That shake was amazing (and super filling)! The hubby ordered a beer since Octoberfest season has officially begun, but he kept stealing sips of my shake.
For entrees, I was debating between the Zinburger (subbing the manchego for blue cheese of course) and the West Coast Chicken. Apparently my husband was looking at the same two sandwiches so we ordered one of each and shared. Both of them were just perfect. We shared a side of Double Truffle Fries which we were hard pressed to finish, but they are highly recommended. They come with a delicious truffle aioli too.
I’m a big fan of Zinburger, but I have one major complaint. The wait times are just completely unacceptable. When we arrived they told us it would be 1 hour, 15 minutes for a table. Yikes! Didn’t scare us off though. We waited and got a great table outside. They had some tables inside that were underutilized. For example, they had 2 2-​person tables pushed together with only 2 people dining. They should have separated them to be able to seat more people in a timely manner. Later in the evening they eventually did separate them, but it took them over an hour to figure that out.
They also offer some nice specials. Wednesday nights are ½ priced bottles of wine, and they have a happy hour too, but it ends relatively early.
Looking forward to my next shake and burger.

They’ve got a burger to satisfy anyone here. If you arent sure what you want just get is custom and they will bring it exactly as you requested it.
Service is quick and friendly, beer is ice cold, and the vibe is good. I love coming here for a quick bite, my kids love it here too.
They have specials on wine here Wednsdays.
Dont forget the truffle fries, they are not to be missed!
