Finnagel’s

They have a very good draft beer selection. What I am not happy about is calling 7 wings per order a pound. Maybe they included the plate when weighing. I needed a wing fix and the Finnagels sauce is very good. So the small portion sufficed.

Finnagel’s is a Hunterdon county staple for a long time now. I was their day one when it opened and have been going back ever since. The Tallmons (owners) run a good show and will make it right by the customer every time. After reading some of the reviews and being a business owner my self I highly doubt that any concerns were ever brought to the owners attention because if it was it would have been corrected immediately. I think the food is the best around and the food is as good as it gets anywhere. Wings, nachos, burgers, steaks no body does it better ! Whenever my family goes on vacation the first stop on the way back from the airport is always finagles just as long as there open.

Place was fine, but the nachos were really, really soggy. Not a place I’d recommend for food. Nice pub setting, though.

I really enjoyed this place both times I’ve been there. The French onion soup was really good. The burgers and fried shrimp were great. Great spot for a cold beer n a burger.

My husband and I just moved to the area and came to Finnagel’s today to try out a local place to watch football. We were so impressed with how good the food was (especially the Finnagel’s wings, holy mackerel!), as well as everything else (homemade chips were delicious as were our sandwiches!). I had the blackened chicken mango wrap, it was so good! Above all else, our server Selina, was fantastic. As a former server myself all throughout college and grad school, I can say her timing was spot on, we never felt rushed, had everything we needed, we felt completely acknowledged, and above all else, we felt valued. As first timers at your establishment, we will 100% be back and can’t wait to continue to try new things as we wanted everything on your menu! Thanks for making us excited to be locals! :-)

Stopped here on a whim on our way home from the Poconos because we were starved. It was around 430 on a Tuesday when we walked in and it was seat yourself in the bar area.
It was pretty empty when we walked in save for probably 5 other people, but the pub side was basically full by the time we left. Nothing fancy, but was very clean and smelled amazing because of the happy hour wings set out for customers.
We didn’t drink, but beer list looked standard.
The wings were delicious and they were sitting over a stern-​o so I’m sure fresh out of fryer they’re even better. Not sure what sauce they were tossed in but it was the perfect hot sauce. Would definitely get them as an app if we ever returned.
I had the French onion soup and it was perfect! The cheese was burnt and crispy on top and it was wonderful. I had the Finnegal wrap with fries and it was pretty good, just a standard breaded chicken wrap. S had a French dip and he really enjoyed it but it was pretty sparse on meat so he took the upper bread off and folded the bottom in half.
Overall very pleasant experience. Would definitely return if we were passing through again.

This is your typical bar/​pub fare. Burgers and wraps are usually decent and they have a reasonable number of beers on tap. Waitresses are always friendly.

This place is great! Good food, and nice staff, it is a great place. Some of the the food is unhealthy, so I don’t oh there much, but when I do I am always happy. It’s a great place, it’s wonderful. One of the best places to go. It’s really a great place.

More like two and a half. Came for lunch on a weekday and got a wrap and a cocktail. An orange blossom I think it was called. The menu says it’s made with absolute but honestly it tasted horrible. I drank it anyway whatever it’s a bar. Or server pretty much acted like she didn’t care if we were there or not, I think her name was Emily and we had to ask there was no introduction. She just kind of left stuff on our table. At the end we asked to take our food to go and we got two tiny foam boxes on the table. Again no big deal but we had most of our food left we needed bigger boxes. I went to ask for a bag so that the boxes didn’t leak in my car and she told me there were no bags of any kind anywhere. I said I just don’t want this to leak in my car and the hostess overheard and got me a bag. Weird.

This is my go-​to lunch stop with friends. The food has never disappointed and they have the best wings around! I’ve always liked the atmosphere. There seem to be a lot more college kids hanging around the place these days instead of the older tougher crowd but its not a deterrent! I always recommend Finnagel’s to friends and family. I have lots of fond memories there and hopefully more to come. Excellent service, good food and thoroughly enjoyable.

Good service. Good prices. Hamburger cooked perfectly (medium rare). Salad was fresh and tasty. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

First the staff is fabulous.
I like it nice and spicy!!! Everything is delicious. Especially their wraps! The Finnagel’s hot sauce is delicious on everything!!!

A good bar to go to for wings and a beer. Staff is nice and pay attention to your needs. Definitely recommend for dinner or just a quick lunch. Have been going here for years.

Love their wraps and burgers. Their finnagels sauce has got a nice buffalo and BBQ taste to it. Really nice for a beer. I recommend sitting on the bar side. The normal seating side feels a bit like an old persons home.

Great place to grab a drink after work — food is pretty typical bar good, but great service and good atmosphere — I recommend their happy hour.

I decided I’d play it safe and go with a burger and some wings. The wings were decent– the burger was really not good. The dining room had that terrible smell of overused frying oil and the service should have been a lot better. I can’t comment on the bar area.

Give me a Finnagel’s wrap and I’ll be the happiest! Food is consistent, (the younger) wait staff is friendly. Overall, a great lunch spot!

They have great burgers. Friendly staff. The wings are amazing. And it is easy to get too. On top of that their beer is cheap in coat

Great menu selection! The sliced London broil is to die for. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

We were in the area leaf peeping and did a Unilocal search of area places to grab a drink and a bite. When we pulled up my husband was all excited as he wanted to come here for sometime. Who knew?
Service was good and the Sunday $ 5 food specials seemed attractive.
This has the makings of a nice local bar to come watch a game or hang for happy hour. $ 2.50 Yuengelings and Lengenkougles (sp? I butchered that…) make it even better. We ordered the jalapeño poppers app, the sausage and peppers Sunday special and the Sunday bowl of chili. All $ 5.
Poppers were OK. Probably came out of a bag and were fried a bit too long. You get 6 so for $ 5 over fried poppers are not worth it.
Sausage and Pepper Sandwich was kinda gross. Served on a hoagie roll, sweet sausage with fake sugary sauce was a bit too sweet. Had they used a better quality roll or hot sausage it could have been much better. Or maybe at least use a name-​brand sauce.
Chili, omg awful. Canned chili topped with raw chopped tomatoes and cheap cheese that didn’t melt. It was bad.
These are basic bar dishes that just shouldn’t be messed up. This was our one and only stop here and can only hope this review is read and changes made.
To sum up, service was good but food was not.
