Very nice staff, clean bright and friendly… sadly the quality of ice cream is lacking. Hershey’s ice cream? Meh. Hershey’s is pretty much as bad as it gets, about equal in flavor as the brick of Stop & Shop ice cream that comes in a square of cardboard at the grocery store. The prices are about what one would pay for a good quality ice cream. Coffee was pretty weak. Kind of an afterthought. If I weren’t from the area, and didn’t know I could go up the road to the grocery and get Ben and Jerry’s, Hagen das, or gelatti, I’d probobly get a cone and walk around town. Alas I live here, and it’s nothing special. If they upgraded their product is glady pay more.

Not impressed at all whatsoever. Carry Hershey’s brand ice cream which is nothing to write home about. Went 2x’s over the summer. 1st time not crowded. Could not believe they had no ice cream with any peanut butter sauce/peanut butter cups etc. Carry maybe 25 flavors. The majority of them had nuts walnut& pistachios about 12 flavors we had children w/us they don’t eat nuts. Only mint flavor they had was what they called a mint type cookies and cream but it wasn’t it was a mint ice cream w/fudge & choc. chunks it was nasty. Only two young girls working but let us taste a few flavors. Anyway the kids got kids cones Superman & cotton candy &2 small adult dishes &1 waffle cone. Was about $ 22.00 1 mon. later we returned all the flavors have changed for the most part. Besides having tons of nut flavors there were tons of flavors that for coffee & coffee/mocha based which includes caffeine! Not good choices for A 1&3 yr. Old. Again I inquired about PB they said just get something &PB sauce on it I said not the same out of pistachio so I got nothing. This time besides 2 girls working+1 man I said they don’t sell kid cones/dishes. It was ridiculous BC basically it was the same size they got the last time but cost $ 1.75 more each. There was 5adults/2kids. Dad opted out since unhappy last time. Mom a difficult decision dieting last time they have a lot of sugar free /low fat /gluten free this time they only had 2 that fit in any of those categories. Then 2 waffle comes. The line was long people got cranky if you were trying to look to see the flavors guess they’re not used to waiting in line @ an ice cream shop & some got downright rude/nasty. Total 4 the 5 items $ 26+change. Won’t be going back sucks there’s no good ice cream places around here that are reasonably priced. Cold stone is pretty good but the prices are ridiculous!

Great local spot. They serve Hershey’s ice cram and the prices are on par with what you would expect.

I Love this adorable ice cream shop! They have so many things here, and not just ice cream! Chocolates, cupcakes, candy and the list goes on! The staff is very friendly and I am so happy that I came in with my family! Limited parking in the front, parking in the back.

Great place for not only ice cream but gift items! I found lovely glass items and candles. I love that they offered complimentary water when seated, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting! 5+ stars! Will be back soon!

Niko’s is a great addition to the little downtown area in Clinton! The ice cream is delicious and there are so many flavor’s to choose from — it’s hard to pick one! I’m happy to see a local business that isn’t a chain open up on the Shoreline, I stay away from any chain stores if possible and support local small businesses. I didn’t find the ice cream to be too pricey — you get what you pay for and we aren’t going out everyday to treat ourselves to ice cream so the times we do I don’t mind paying for good quality. The customer service is impeccable. Friendly, personable and a great atmosphere. The store is decorated in whimsical old fashioned décor. The bar across the street doesn’t bother me at all, I think it’s cleaned up a lot from what it used to be.

This is an OK ice cream shop. Ice cream shops along the shoreline usually don’t stay in business for more than a couple years. The one exception is the huge Ashley’s conglomerate which has a shop in almost every town. I hope Niko’s sticks around for a while. A small size cup of ice cream will set you back $ 4.24. IMO that’s fairly pricey considering it’s only Hersey’s Ice Cream. Don’t get me wrong I like Hersey’s ice cream just as much as the next guy but let’s face it, Hersey’s ice cream isn’t Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. For that price I’d just rather pick up a pint of Ben and Jerrys at the supermarket. The inside of Niko’s is nicely decorated and there’s tables both on the inside and the outside. If you choose to sit outside you’ll get the opportunity to watch some Clinton’s finest going in and out of Scottish Dave’s bar. It’s located directly across the street. One of these days I’ll have to work up the courage to walk into that place, but based on what I’ve seen over the years I get the impression only bikers and derelicts are allowed entrance. Although I’be been known to be wrong before.

If you’re a chocolate malt person like us go to Niko’s. Best malt we’ve had in years. A rare treat that’s going to become less rare because we’ll be there every week

This cute spot just opened & is just what this part of town needed… You can get a cone & eat it inside at or better yet outside overlooking the river & art shops from outdoor café tables. Next to The Coffee Break restaurant & across from CVS. Husband had A red velvet cake flavored ice cream in a waffle cone & I had a sorbet(dairy allergy)
