Missed his name but HE is a terrible nail tech. The nails are dry and I barely touched them and they are smudged on 2 nails, 5 hours later. A waste of $ 47.70 and a $ 10 tip.

I walked in for the first time. Very nice! It was clean and nicely decorated. The music was relaxing. The staff was friendly. They got me right in and did a great job. They have a huge selection of gel nail colors. Prices are comparableto others in the area for better service! I will be sure to visit again!

I have been here twice and both times got a shellac (gel) manicure. I don’t know the name of either woman who helped me, nor would I request her again. Not good, not bad, just OK. The first time the tech put three coats of color on, the second time the tech put on two. My first manicure lasted well over three weeks. After one and a half weeks on my second I’m seeing enough wear to think I’ll be going back earlier this time. Neither of my techs spoke much English but at least I wasn’t being harassed about buying more services while I was there. I’ll be back if I’m in a pinch because I live nearby but it isn’t anything to write home about.

This is my 3rd visit and have been happy every time. The inside is very pretty and clean. They have a lot of pedicure chairs so would be good for a large group. The staff is friendly and professional. The organize their polishes in such a way that they are easy to look through without being a cluttered mess. I have gone to Nicole the last two times and I am very happy with her. She’s polite and is very gentle, which works well for me because manicures tend to hurt my hands when they twist your fingers around. I will be coming back again!

I’ve been to a lot of nail salons in the greater Des Moines area, and I keep coming back to this one. It’s very clean, they honor appointments and actually tell people no when they’re to busy instead of making them sit & wait for ever. They sanitize all their instruments before each client too. I will keep coming back to Elite for sure.
