Great service and the Frappuccins and cake pops are amazing. My kids love to go there.

This is one of the worst staffed Starbucks in Bergen County. Both times I have been here he staff was unprofessional, slow, and violating health code. They touch their faces cough into their hands, and touch the floor before handling food. They also cough directly on the food. Both times. They ate at the front counter rather than taking orders or making drinks. They joked amongst themselves and took their sweet time making drinks and were rude when they did decide to interact with me, a paying customer.

This Starbucks reminds me of first gen Starbucks that came out before Starbucks was everywhere… Wouldn’t be surprised if it was an older establishment. It’s comfortable and big inside with music and nice people. Overall it’s not to much different than any other Starbucks.

This review is long overdue. I frequent this location when I meet friends on the weekend. Nothing wrong with this location but does anyone really like the coffee? The pastries are terrible and the coffee is always so bitter. Yes I have tried the Blond Roast and ask for heavy cream but it does not help.

I absolutely detest this Starbucks location. It’s infested with obnoxious soccer moms and their 8-​year old sons and daughters running around as if the place is a playground. I don’t know how many times I have been disturbed and bothered when I’m trying to sit down quietly and do my research. Also, their choice of music is horrible. Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears? Are you kidding? The service is neither superb nor horrendous. If you want to read or do work on your computer, I would not recommend this location. (Honestly I’d rather drive the extra 20 minutes to the Starbucks in Fort Lee). Also, the bathroom smells pretty foul.

Since they stopped playing the elevator music, I no longer mind going inside. everyone is friendly. I just could not stand the jazz music, it was like torture for me. music has changed and now my attitude has changed =)

Not one of the better Starbucks in the area. I come here once in a while if I’m passing by, but I usually end up regretting it. It used to be fairly decent, but in the past year or so it seems like nothing I order here tastes right. Not even the hot chocolate tastes right. How does one mess up a hot chocolate? At least the service isn’t too bad. But still, I expect a lot more from Starbucks than this.

The staff is on top of their game. They took our order right away and were done quickly. The drink tasted just right also.
Lots of places to sit but they were all full already on a Friday afternoon. Nuts!

My favorite Starbucks in this area! The staff is really nice and even when there’s a long line you don’t have to wait long. My only complaint is that a lot of younger kids hang out here so it can get fairly noisy. I doubt Starbucks can do anything about this, but it can really interfere with getting work done.

It’s pumpkin season so I really recommend the pumpkin spice lattes hot or cold so delicious and the pastries are always great!

Nice Starbucks. I’ve been here a few times, just to do work, and it’s always been a good experience. The place can get a little crowded and this place does get a lot of foot traffic.

Staff was quick and friendly the place itself looked relatively clean I have had Starbucks food before but I didn’t today so I cannot comment on their food. Their drinks were good though my gf had me get a pumpkin spiced latte and it was very flavorful and tasty. I am more of a dunkin donuts guy myself but this Starbucks made a really good drink. I would come back here to get one again. The staff was fast there was no line but even then our drinks were out very fast. The girl that made it seemed as though she was training which suprised me even more as to how quick they were.

This particular Starbucks was a key player in achieving gold status in 2010, making my card of the classic completely shiny variety. As somewhat of a professional patron of this coffee shop, believe me when I say that timing is everything.
At 3:20PM on a Tuesday during the school year, you will see middle schoolers who carry louis vuitton wristlets and demand venti strawberry crème frappuccinos, which are then paid for by their mothers. Before and after this bratty influx of children, the atmosphere will be much calmer. By about 7PM, groups of badly dressed high schoolers will come in, and half of them will commandeer the few available couches while the other half will justify their presence by actually buying drinks.
During the summer, you’ll see all kinds of people at all hours of the day.
However, the best of these people are the baristas who know what’s up. They can make drinks without looking and already pop your pastries in the oven before you ask to have it toasted! These honorable employees are not to be confused with the amateurs who clearly never even frequented any coffee shop before working in one. These people will try to get away with crimes like squirting whipped cream on top of a badly measured drink AFTER putting the top on. !!! They most definitely will pump too much syrup in your beverage and not use the SHAKER to SHAKE your SHAKEN black iced tea. !!!
To the best baristas at this Starbucks: Thank you for being wonderful keepers of my kingdom. Truly the crème of the crop; whipped cream before the top.

Rude! Rude! Rude! Staff. Made me wait over 15 minutes for an order that didn’t even get placed. No apologies.. Didn’t even bother to look at me. Not only is this a terrible way to treat customers, it’s beyond basic manners that elementary school kids know. Shame on you!

Coffee and pastries are good. Store is a mess. Garbage cans are overflowing. Bathrooms are filthy. These Closter kids don’t know how to clean. Where is the manager.

They forgot my order. I stood there for 15 minutes. Waiting. They eventually gave me a free venti sized drink. All is good. But I still don’t like this Starbucks.

Considering there are 5 people behind the counter, no line and 4 people waiting for their beverage –they are super slow. I asked for a caramel cappuccino and just got caramel syrup.

We go here every Friday afternoon (and when we are in the area).
The staff is always nice, cheerful, and helpful.
OPEN LETTER OF THANKS:
A couple weeks ago, we went in and waited in line. My girlfriend, after audibly exclaiming how excited she was to try – for the first time ever– the sample of the Pumpkin spice chai, her heart broke as it was ALL OUT!
However, one of the baristas, James M. came to the rescue. He said, that there is no way that someone who was so excited about PSC should go without it. So, he made her a fresh sample in a mini cup with whip cream and accompanied it with complementing spices.
This made her day. A ton of great publicity was generated on Facebook and by word of mouth.
Baristas like James are what make Starbucks feel like home, rather then a chain. It’s good to see that there is heart in these worker. This experience makes us feel good coming back to this specific Starbucks over and over again.

I love this place. They recently renovated and it is beautiful inside.
The staff is exceptional. I feel like I have become many of their friends because I go in often. They remember my name, they remember my drink. Excellent customer service.
