Received a call from them asking to do a reference check.
They said a family member wanted to rent something.
Checked with family member and they had rented something earlier this week and the deal was already done.
Turns out that by the end of the call Aaron’s was really calling to see if I wanted to rent anything from them. A sales call disguised as a reference check.
No, I don’t want to rent anything.
However, I do want others to know that you have slimy business practices.
Make your own sales. Don’t get contacts from your customers and then use them for something other than what you stated.
