Baja Fresh

This place has fresh made and delicious affordable food. It has fresh and tasty salsa, it has clean seating and rest rooms. And it has consistently excellent service.
I’m a huge fan of the shrimp salad with avocado, cilantro, kale, and a citrus dressing. It is even better if you add steak (surf and turf heaven!). My hubby loves the nachos. The burritos are huge, the meats seasoned perfectly (and not dried out) and the side of rice and beans fills a whole plate! All meals come with complimentary chips, and the kid’s meals are big enough for two kids (small kids that is).

I really love the chain, but this branch seems inconsistent. I get the same item every time but it’s always different. Also, on two occasions they forgot an item we paid extra for. Always check your bag if getting it to go.
The place is clean.

I like Baja fresh but not this one. When we walked in I could smell pine sol. I can appreciate their cleanliness but when we sat down it smelled like a dirty mop. As for the food, the rice was tasteless and beans were dry. I’m only giving 2 stars because the cashier was nice and the chicken was okay but I’ll stick to riverpark Baja fresh from now on.

Baja fresh, lives up to its slogan of «eat well, live fresh» with its high quality ingredients, great tasting food, affordable pricing and healthy food selection. It is for that reason Baja Fresh is the best in the Tex-​mex chain fast casual in the Fresno and Clovis area, where it competes with similar rivals such as wahoo fish tacos, free Birds burritos and Chipotle. I would order the 2 seafood tacos and burritos if it was your first time, because it is delicious, all meals comes with complimentary chip and a selection of 6 FREE gourmet salsa from their salsa bar. All their salsa’s are fresh, unique and delicious.

Baja Fish Taco’s serves a wide range of Tex-​Mex favorites, such as burritos, tacos, salad’s, quesadillas, fajitas, taquitos, and enchilado, their selection also includes seafood favorites such as fish and shrimp tacos. All orders start at the counter, and just like any fast casual concept they do have a nice comfortable and clean seating. The interior is very lively with bright colors.
The Baja Chicken Burrito $ 6.99 was not the largest burrito I’ve eaten– yet it satisfied my hunger, the flavor was so good– the chicken was tender and juicy, and has a good tangy flavor from fresh lemon marinade, while the accompaniments of the burrito was also well seasoned and fresh. The burrito has rice, fresh tomato salsa and guacamole. The tortilla that wrapped my burrito was perfectly nice and warm, and tightly packed, so when I was eating it didn’t open up.
The 2 grilled shrimp tacos, came with rice and black beans. The shrimp was so fresh and tasty, and perfectly cooked– it tasted tender and juicy. The tacos was layered with avocado slice, fresh sliced cabbage, tomato salsa, and a dollop of fresh green salsa. While the beans was perfectly seasoned and tasted healthy and was perfectly tender– not over salted. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. Overall it was a healthy and delicious tasting meal.
The chips was so nice and crispy, while all the salsa was delicious. My favorite was the seasonal mango salsa, it was made from actual fresh mangos. Its without a question I would be back for more.

Better food than chipotle at similar prices. Sit down experience without the sit down prices or need to tip the wait staff. Great experience, inexpensive and delicious. Definitely coming back for a fast burrito.

I would come by everyday if I had the chance. Free chips and a salsa bar! Their nachos are delicious and the dining area is always clean and with plenty of seating. I thought this place would be like chipotle on my first visit but I promise it’s not. They has more variety and they offer fish tacos. Staff is friendly and food comes out in a decent amount of time. 5 stars from me.

This used to be one of my go to places but not anymore. I used to use the loyalty stamp card on my visits but on the last visit I purchased three meals as I was with 3 different people and she only punched my card one time telling me its only one punch per visit. either she is mistaken or they have changed their policy as they have never done this before nor does any other restaurant that uses the punch card.
I will go to Don Pepe exclusively.

Pretty good. I had the shrimp ultimate burrito. Great selection of salsa and they offer free chips. The service is good. Not as many shrimp in burrito as I had hoped and it was a little messy but a tasty burrito nonetheless.

It’s a franchise– but their food is really good!!! I would eat there more than I would at chipotle! I like their chicken Cesar wrap

I have been a frequent customer at this Baja Fresh for a while and have loved their good service and food but tonight will probably be the last time I go into this restaurant. As I stood in line, I could see the cook in the back eating while he was working. Even when he realized I saw him, he just smiled like it was no big deal. Instead of taking my order at the register, another cook leaned through the window from the kitchen and asked «Do you know what you want?» When I got home and opened up my food, it looked like they just threw it all together with the scraps from all the normal ingredients: tiny strips of chicken sprinkled across the top and overcooked wrinkly beans mixed in. What happened to this restaurant? They went from over-​the-​top customer service and good food to horrible service and a mediocre meal tonight.

We’ve been to this Baja fresh multiple times and it never dissapoints. First off the service is always excellent. We usually have the manager Miguel help us. He is always friendly and accommodating with our order, which is sometimes a little tricky. The food is delicious and always freshly made which I appreciate. I was also happy to learn that Baja fresh doesn’t use any frozen food and that they only use grass fed beef. This makes me very happy knowing they are truly serving us fresh food made with the best ingredients. Their salsa is amazing and totally fresh as well. I have zero complaints this restaurant is awesome!

Another outstanding visit. I thought I should update my review to talk about the service provided by Miguel helping us for our party.
Today we are doing a huge party to celebrate our daughters graduation and 3 birthdays.
We came needing some salsa’s for the party.
He not only helped us out he made sure we had fresh ones they just made.
He was extremely helpful and one of the many reasons we love going to this Baja Fresh!

Absolutely unbelievable how long I had to wait for such average food. From the minute I walked in to the time I got my food was over 30 minutes. On top of it they had one poor girl working the register delivering the food and cleaning up the tables. They absolutely slaved that poor girl. She was really amazing though and smiled on top of it all. This was my first and last visit to a Baja fresh. I should’ve just left before even ordering but I didn’t feel like driving somewhere else

My husband & I love this place! So clean, very friendly, and food is excellent. Great quality & salsa bar is awesome! Fish tacos are our favorite! We come here often and have always left happy!

I love their Baja Burritos. I’ve been getting the Pork Carnitas. It’s nice and juicy.

So glad this place opened up. I usually love fish tacos from Rubios in river park, but this place still has some pretty good fish tacos, and in town. Plus they give free chips.

Giving a four-​star review because of the service. These guys are super– friendly and helpful. I don’t love Baja Fresh (we usually go to the Riverpark one) but I appreciate how nice and happy the staff are at this one.

THE BEST BAJA FRESH EVER. Although Sierra Vista is pretty dead, Baja Fresh is still delicious! The service is amazing! Unlike other Baja freshes, they give you chips while you wait! This location is extremely clean and they clean your tray for you! I ALWAYS order the shrimp burrito! It’s a deal at $ 7! You can’t get shrimp at chipotle, so you should definitely visit this Baja!
Oh yeah did I mention that their salsa is heavenly?

1^st class. Super clean. Had a taco special. 99 cents ea. Normally $ 2.89!
Incredibly nice cashier/​manager. Salsa bar was spotless. BF should model all their stores after this one. Seriously, this manager was on his game. Some elderly ladies came in – one with a walker, and he quickly prepared a table for them. BTW I am ataco truck kinda guy – the special is what brought me in – but blown away at the professionalism.

This place is fantastic and set the bar very high for he other locations. Staff are efficient, friendly and vey accommodating. At busy times they could use more help but minimally affected their food
