Ordered the menudo and it appeared old. The tripe was a dark color and was mushy. NOBUENO!

Great little hole in the wall, but nice and charming and clean. Clearly homemade chips were great. Chile verde was excellent and retried beans were good too. Ask for the«spicy» salsa. They have a red and a green salsa that are both excellent.

One of my favorites! My husband isn’t a huge fan of Mexican food so it’s typically just my daughter and I heading here. The food portions are great, the service is friendly and efficient, the ambiance is quiet and unhurried. Yep, just a great place for some great food!

Excellent food, good service, clean. Can get packed but we’ve never had to wait long. The carne asada chimichanga is delicious. Portions are very large, chips and salsa are very good too! One night their credit card machine was down and they let us leave on our word to go to the bank and return the next day. We ended up going immediately after and returned to pay the bill, they were so friendly and thankful. You would not find that at a chain place.

Came here on Valentine’s Day with my wife and her family before heading to the zoo. The restaurant seemed really clean and looked recently updated. The tables and chairs have a cool charred finish. We were sat immediately on a Sunday around 9:30. The breakfast menu is small and simple. Almost everything has eggs. So this might not be the breakfast place for you if that’s an issue. Our waitress was pleasant and initially, very attentive to our needs. The food was presented well on the plate, but after cutting my burrito open to begin eating it, I saw why there was a line to eat at the neighboring restaurant and empty tables here. Although it was very large, my burrito was mostly beans and potatoes. It had a good amount of chorizo, but the ratio was definitely different. It was the same for everyone else at my table who ordered a burrito. Makes the place look cheap. From what I heard from my family, the menudo was very good, but their bowls were only half filled. To me a breakfast meal like this should fill you up and not leave this much room for improvement. With all that said, the food here was good. Yet it was evident as a patron that the managers or owners are attempting to get the highest profit they can for each plate. «Beans and potatoes are cheap, so fill the burritos with lots of them to make them appear to be big burritos.» I’d rather have a smaller tortilla, less beans and potatoes and have the same amount of chorizo! As for service. Like I said, initially it was great. A group came in about 10 minutes after we sat and they appeared to be regulars by the interactions between the staff and their group. All went down hill as far as service after this group arrived. Anything we asked for was forgotten. Waters went unfilled until we asked twice. My wife asked for water twice and never received it. My father in law asked for a coffee refill and had to ask a second time before it came. My sister in law asked for the kids drinks to be served eight their food; she had to ask about half way brought their meal to have them served. We had to grab the attention of the waitstaff to have anything done. There were three waitresses and four tables occupied. No way service should be this poor. We will be back! I hope that changes can be made in the service and quality vs. quantity areas! Food 2 Stars Service 1 star Cleanliness 4 stars Overall 2 stars.

Great place with great service and very good food. I’ve had just about everything on the menu at one time or another and it’s always been really good. The only bummer for me is that they only serve their menudo on the weekends otherwise I’d have it more often during the Winter months.

In the Barnyard Shopping Center between Barstow and Shaw Ave, this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Fresno/Clovis area. It’s on a par with the food at Casa Corona, in my opinion, just a little bit tastier. Rosa Linda’s is smaller that the Casa Corona places, it’s not the place to watch television mounted to walls because there are none at Rosa Linda’s. It is a great place, however, to have some quality Mexican food in a quiet setting. The staff has always been very friendly and efficient in my visits there(about 25 – 30 lunches over the past two years). All the food tried there so far has been good, even the vegetarian tostada compuesta. Here’s a link to their menu, check them out for yourself. And from El Juero Gordito here, mi amigos… vaya con Dios!

I don’t know why I have not been back here more often but I will for sure now. They continue to be one of the best Mexican offerings around hands down. Their prices have increased slightly compared to what they have on their website but it is still provides fantastic bang for your buck. Huge generous portions although the food is still slightly under-seasoned. I had the menudo which is only made on weekends. It was very tasty and had nice chunks of tripe and great broth. I had the individual order of chile verde burrito which was huge for under $ 8 and my wife had chicken fajitas. Overall service was excellent as well and I will be back more often

Really great, fresh food. I had the chile verde with homemade corn tortillas. It was delicious! My husband had the steak tacos and rely enjoyed them too. Our new favorite local Mexican spot. The servers were very friendly and helpful. One thing that impressed me was how helpful and polite they were to each other. Glad we gave it a try tonight!

Found this place on Unilocal, had to try it after reading good reviews… ate dinner there and let me tell you this was the WORST Mexican food I’ve ever had. The first thing that I seen walking in was the kitchen and all the cans of refried beans. That told me alot. Mexican restaurant that doesn’t even refry their beans… I tried the chili Verde and their award winning tamales. the chili verde was the worst I’ve ever had, perhaps it’s out of a can, did not taste fresh at all. And the supposedly the award winning tamales, they were terrible they were very dry and flakey, u looked around the restaurant and noticed a few plates go back to the kitchen as other customers were not satisfied as well. I am hispanic, rule of thumb, if a Mexican restaurant serves refried beans out of a can, BEAWARE… don’t eat here. Don’t let the good reviews fool you…

«Hold the rice, double the frijoles, you can order whatever you please!» This is my lame attempt to «Mexicanize» the old Burger King song, but seriously you can special order up the wazoo. I changed my veggie fajitas that come with tortillas, rice, refried beans, guac, and sour cream to no rice, a double order of boiled beans, replace the guac and sour cream with avocado and… Drumroll please… For no extra charge! My server was really sweet and helpful too. The only bummer of the evening was that my onions were overcooked(like black), but that was easy to overlook as my overall experience was enjoyable!

Felt like a Mexican heritage place, really impressed and this was my first visit at Rosa Linda’s. The Mexican food is by far the best and most authentic I have tasted in Fresno/Clovis area, the ambiance is very welcoming and warm, almost feels like a beautiful Mexican/Spanish home and the service was great. In addition a very soothing spanish instrumental music was playing adding to authentic overall feeling of Mexican heritage. Upon sitting myself in this very beautiful decorated restaurant with brick red walls, terra-cotta flooring and dark wood table and chairs. I was greeted by my server whom presented me with a basket of endless complimentary chips and freshly made salsa that tasted very fresh, crisp and delicious, I was then handed the wide range menu, which contained almost all of the classical Mexican favorites from chimichanga to tamales and simple things like burritos and tacos. I tried the lunch special at $ 8.50 with two choice, i picked the beef burrito and chicken enchiladas. My order was served with salad, home made refried beans and freshly made tomato style Mexican rice. It was a burst of ethnic flavors in my mouth, almost like a Mexican fiesta. It almost tasted homemade and not restaurant style. The service was fast and good, and the restaurant is just so romantic and soothing to be in. I really enjoyed dining here and listening to the Mexican heritage music. i will definitely be back.
