This place was deciving from the outside. I expected to walk in to a dark, dusty and run down place but it was surprisingly roomy, very clean and organized. The people were very friendly and displayed great custimer service. The phở was delicious and the portions were very satisfying. I got the chicken phở with extra veggies. It was only a couple of dollars more than what I normally pay for phở, but the quality, atmosphere and customer service made it well worth it. This will now be my go to place for yummy phở.

We love this place! I always order the number 1 — phở with beef and it is consistently delicious! The large is huge, so the small will do good for most appetites. We have also ordered the egg rolls and they are great too! The service is quick and super friendly!

This is the best Phở place I have found since moving from the Bay Area. The broth is fantastic, portions are large and really good quality. Would definitely recommend and this is now the only place i go in Clovis/Fresno.

I was surprised to find a good phở place in Clovis! I enjoyed their broth. Don’t forget to ask for their chili oil if you want some. Other than that, phở and service were great!

Been here a couple times now. Our orders have all been correct and the food is hot and tastes fresh. My grandma is pretty conservative when it comes to food, especially Asian cuisine, but she left happy. The owner is very friendly, too. Gave my friend’s son some candy for dessert :)

The ‘Phở broth’ or vietnamese food selection at ‘Phở 2006′ might not be a blue-ribbon winner at a Phở tasting contest, but as a south east asian restaurant serving vietnamese food in these northern parts of the city– Phở 2006 makes decent tasting food, that genuinely taste vietnamese. I mean the flavor and the taste is not americanized at all– its essentially vietnamese. Furthermore the establishment is extremely clean, while the ambience is somewhat cozy(a rare occurrence for south east asian restaurant– the status quo is dirty and dingy), but most importantly the service was friendly and fast. Parking is certainly not an issue here, since there are plenty in the private lot. My chief complaint for Phở 2006 would be the price of its food; in comparison to other phở places in Fresno where price per person is $ 6-$ 8, Phở 2006 charges at a hefty rate of $ 10-$ 12 per person. There might be a justification for its price, as food portion(protein ratio is actually generous here). Additionally their fried-food is a little too oily for my liking, for example their shrimp fried rice, felt a little too heavy with oil(It ain’t deep fried rice though), even the fried egg was swimming in cadmium yellow liquid. Thankfully, this could be an easy fix for the owners– just go easy on the oil … sometimes less is more people. The small bowl of phở with rare beef slices and tendon was $ 7.95(even a small is $ 8– normally at other places its $ 5/$ 6). I further added extra meat for $ 2. The arrival of the bowl of phở was literally like katy perry«hot and cold» song, because the broth was hot but somewhat, not hot enough to counter act the slices of beef stored in the fridge, hence my broth started hot, but quickly got lukewarm, and barely had enough energy to cook my rare beef slices. The taste overall was actually quite good. The broth as I mentioned wont win an award, but it certainly is tasty. The broth here is best described as being subtly sweet, lightly salted(which i appreciate), slightly earthy, and extremely aromatic, with the blend of spices used. I think the broth lacks a deeper beef taste, but its not a huge issue for me. The rice plates served with lemongrass chicken was certainly delicious, and heavily portioned. For a price 0f $ 10.50, this plate is a tad pricey. But the taste was sincere and french. The lemongrass marinade for the chicken essentially made every bite heavenly, and the chicken was moist. Unfortunately the rice plate doesn’t automatically come with the famous tangy-spicy-salty-sweet vietnamese sauce known as Nouc Cham. Just remember to request it with your meal. The seats were certainly comfortable and clean, while the service was filled with smile and happiness from the owners, there was even soothing instrumental music playing in the background. I do like the detail of cleanliness this place holds, a value that is rare among other south east asian restaurant. It was weird for me to see korean BBQ and teriyaki chicken as an option on their menu. My recommendation is for the owners to concentrate on serving real good vietnamese food– making sure its their best effort, and making sure every detail is given– for example the dipping sauce that should come with the food, and broth should be pipping hot. Additionally, the owners could also benefit from reducing the price of the food, as to make it more affordable for patrons, maybe even offering lunch special menu. Overall a not too bad choice if one is hungry for Phở, and traveling further south is not an option.

I go to Phở in every city I am in… I eat Phở 3 to 4 times a week. Phở 2006 is amazing… it takes 10 hours for the owner to cook the broth. The broth is free of grease very flavorful. Veggies are fresh, restaurant is clean with nice décor. The staff is helpful. We went in with 5 people 4 are not that fond of Phở but everyone said it was the best meal they have ever had in a Phở place. I highly recommend this place. The owner is super nice ask him about how he preps food. I wish Phở 2006 was in every city I would eat there every time.

Worst Phở I’ve ever had. Ordered a Phở with Rare steak, I get thick cut well done meat. Accompanied by a plate of veggies that was dried out and old. This place has two things going for them, clean restaurant and customers that probably haven’t travelled out of Clovis for a real bowl of phở. If the owners and operators really consider this in any way quality or authentic I feel bad for them. This sounds like quite a rough review but really guys it was that bad.

Their large bowl of phở is too small comparing to other places they give you a little of noodle and a lot of Broth not worth its too pricey for a large bowl phở. If you are a man that eat a lot this place it’s not recommended for you. Not unless you had to get 2 large bowl to fill you up that will cost you around at lease $ 20 something with tax. And plus they don’t have the oily garlic peppers sauce How could they left that out.

I ordered the rare steak and well done brisket phở. The condiments were fresh and the broth had a nice aroma and taste. The only problem I had was the meat. It consisted almost entirely meat chunks that were 90% fat and were hard to chew. This is a killer for me. Even though the broth was good it can’t make up the meat scraps that were served with it. I’m OK with some fat as that adds flavor but when every piece of meat is almost all fat, that’s another story. As for the restaurant itself, it’s nice and clean. Situated in a strange shopping center near Old Town Clovis(between Pollasky and Clovis Ave) it might be the best phở place in Clovis but that’s not saying much because I think there is only one other one(Phở Delite) and that one isn’t very good either. Service was fast and friendly but I probably won’t be back here any time soon. There are just too many good phở places in Fresno to settle for something subpar. The phở competition in Fresno is getting fierce and this restaurant needs to step up its game if they want to stand out and really compete.

I’ve been coming here almost every other week to order the same thing… Yes I know it’s boring but the quality never fails. I’ve been getting the vermicelli with grilled pork and this time I got an order of egg rolls as well. The fish sauce/dipping sauce taste great. I always add the chili paste to it as I prefer a bit more heat. The owner is still super friendly and very accommodating when I ask for extra sauce or when my bf substitutes something. He really likes the teriyaki rice plate.

I love it here! The service is really the best. They are friendly and very attentive. The food is delicious, of course. I love their Thai tea!!! I always order it every time I go there. The galbi plate is my favorite. Their phở is fantastic. I come here for the flavor and the wonderful service.

Its hard to find a phở place in Clovis without going to McKinley. I tried phở 2006 from the reviews. The food has been good but a little pricey. Ive been going down south and had that craving so thought why not. Got the pho2 the meatballs with rare beef. For me the broth, was good not over seasoned or salty. It was 8.25 for the phở alone. The spring rolls is what i was after to be honest and they seemed to be lacking. There was only 2 shrimp in there and the flavor was ok nothing over the top great. Not my place for those but will venture back for the phở and great service.
