We have eaten at this place many times and every time not only is the food great but the service is great as well. The prices are very affordable and the environment is good as well.

I’ve been back a couple of times to try their beef phở. The 1st time I came back, the broth was almost flavorless. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and considered it a fluke given how good the beef phở was the 1st time I ate here. Well, I came back a again and the beef phở was just as flavorless. So much so that hoisin, sriracha, hot oil, or fish sauce could come to the rescue. Unfortunately, I am not going to gamble another $ 10.00 on this place and have taken away a couple of stars as a result. It’s too bad because they did something right the 1st time I visited but failed to stay consistent with their quality.

Went this afternoon on a raining day. Kinda full but still had empty tables. Waited and they did not seat us even though they saw us. Seated for 5 minutes w/no menus then finally got one. Already knew what type of phở since avid phở eater. Got bland phở w/no bean sprouts. Had to ask. Then got bean spouts but no basil. Had to ask again. Horrible food and horrible service. One couple actually walked out after being seated due to lack of service. Never going back. Phở 777 is way better n taste better. Plus it’s across the street.

Love the phở here. I’ve been here twice and I, both times got the brisket phở. Would come again sometime.

Great and friendly service here. Speak English fluently as far as I’ve seen. We always take to go, they give ample food and their spring rolls are cheapest in town. I usually get the Phở VN special because I like a little of everything.

Best phở in town!!! Friendly friendly service!!! If you don’t like phở their chow mein is bomb!!! So delicious. Was not a fan of the spring rolls but decent egg rolls. Service is quick. Down fall no refills on sodas but there is on the tea.

Lovely intimate restaurant with a super welcoming staff and owner. My family comes here quite often and I always order the Vietnamese Phở. The portion size is decent and it tastes delicious. Highly recommend!

Awesome food, awesome service. Both food and service was quick. Chicken phở broth is nice and clean just the way I like it; also came with LOTS of noodles. Spring rolls had the perfect balance of greens and noodles. Peanut sauce was good consistency. Eggrolls were hot and crunchy; I really liked the addition of jicama. The pork and eggroll rice dish was a good portion. Pork was sliced thin and well marinated. Environment was very clean, unlike other phở places in town. Wrapped chopsticks and straws available at every table. Overall, very happy and will definitely be back.

I had the phở tai(rare beef) and I thought it was amazing. The broth was clear and had good flavor. No Hint of MSG that I could taste. The beef was perfectly sliced and also delicious. Wish there could have been more though. The side additions such as the cilantro, sprouts, Thai basil, lime and jalapeños were fresh. Perfectly priced at $ 8.50 for a large bowl. The kids had chicken chowmein. I took a couple of bites and thought it was great. Better than most Chinese restaurants do it :). Service as above average. People real nice. I will be back for sure!!!

I came here for lunch and despite the rather inconspicuous location they were already half full. Service was point on and the food was excellent and priced well. I had the #6 with steak and tendon. Like a lot of places the portion were decent sized not too large. The broth had just enough depth of flavor without having to use too much salt. I really enjoyed the huge chunks of tendon they had, some of it was from the hip joint which is rare to see. The only annoying thing was the 50c charge they would levy on you if you had to use a credit card for a check under $ 10. I would still come back and support them however as they are among the best in town

The food is very good!!! First time ever I had Phở and loved it. All the ingredients were fresh. Definitely the best orange chicken in Fresno, great flavor. The staff was not to friendly but they did their job well. My new favorite find.

Okay… I’m giving the place 3 stars for the following reasons. Take this as you may… I’m not sure what the PHO game is like elsewhere in Fresno, but the broth was bland, the meats were really garlic-y, and my vietnamese coffee would put hair on a 3 month old baby girls chest, and the spring rolls had little to no meat(primarily lettuce and cucumber, half a shrimp, and maybe the tiniest sliver of grilled pork) The gentleman running the restaurant was nice and customer service friendly, he tried to remedy the coffee by adding the sweet milk that we asked for, and the spot is right around the corner from a Hawaiian shaved ice spot I’m leaving a review for next. That aforementioned is the truth, the whole truth, and I’m sticking to it. So help me God! I miss Denver PHO!!! I came here based on the reviews, but I’ve definitely had better.

Easy to miss, yet difficult to forget, Phở VN is the best phở restaurant in Fresno in my opinion, they are so good they deserve to win the gold excellence award for the best phở restaurant in Fresno and Clovis metropolitan, I must say i am very critical of south east asian food because firstly Im south east asian and secondly Ive tried phở far and wide, so I’m pretty sure I know what Im talking about when it comes to phở, yet this place passed the test with flying colors and I just didnt’ have anything bad to say. Whats even more surprising is the location, which happens to be north clovis, who knew this area would have an amazing asian restaurant. The impeccable service, inviting yet simple atmosphere, perfectly tasting food, reasonably priced dishes, perfect cleanliness and finally the quality of ingredients is the reason why 5 star rating for the first time is not enough in my opinion. If this was your first time order the #8 phở and the spring rolls. I came in on a late lunch on Wednesday and right away I was greeted with such a warm welcome from a male server. His mannerly and tactful personality made me feel welcomed right away at VN. The menu was extensive yet not too confusing, there was probably 10 –15 choices or phở soups varieties and they also have rice vermicelli, spiring rolls, and other dishes that could be paired with rice. I order the #8 phở —(flank steak and tendon) small sized for $ 6.50 and spring rolls $ 3.25. The menu I must add was very nicely put together with pictures of every item on the menu. The spring rolls came first, my tongue was so surprised with what I just tasted, I was caught in an unexpected outcome, the spring rolls had to be the very best one I’ve tasted so far. A very refreshing taste of vermicelli, lettuce and herb leaves wrapped in that rice paper. The shrimp meat was fresh tasting and was perfectly cooked and flavored, but the focal point of the spring rolls was the roasted pork, its lemongrass taste and some other vietnamese marinade was clearly creating a happy and glorious party in my mouth. I have not tasted a spiring rolls as good as that, I didn’t even have to dip it into the peanut sauce, because it had so much flavor and depth. Although I must say the peanut sauce is by far the best I’ve tasted across all vietnamese restaurant and so maybe you would dip it cause its so good. Its genuinely homemade and had a pleasant taste of fresh roasted peanuts, was not too sweet either. The star of the meal is of course the phở. Its important for anyone to take a sip of the broth when it comes to the table, don’t alter it, taste the broth, thats what I did and I was blown away. The broth was so flavorful, had an original taste that defines this place. The herbs and spices was not dominating the dish yet it gave such a delightful aroma and flavor with every sip. The tendon and the flank steak was so generously portioned in this small sized phở. It was endless of meat in it. The vegetable accompanying the dish was crisp and fresh. The noodles were also perfectly cooked, and tasted really good. Overall this has to be the best beef phở soup I have ever tasted. Phở VN has the best service among all asian restaurants, I would go as far to say even better than most americanized restaurant too. My server the asian guy was so friendly and welcoming, and had good server skills. Very polite, careful and also he anticipated without asking, water was always poured, and feedback was asked once I was done. This place even gives you a complimentary dessert of fried sweet wonton complimentary with the bill. The interior of the restaurant is simple, nothing to brag about, its definitely not tacky just not stylish, but most important it creates a comfortable and clean environment while dining. Excellent thats all i have to say.

Not sure what everyone is talking about the broth or phở for i LOVE it. I usually add a bunch of sriracha and hot oil but with phở vn i dont add n e thing except the vegetables and lime. Customer service is great and the gentleman that works there is soo polite! This is me and my hubs FAV phở spot in fresno!

I’ve been super sick for a week now, so my friends took me to this place during our lunchtime. I got the wonton soup, and it was AMAZING. AMAZING! The cashier helped me choose what to get, and was really sweet and patient with me. I will definitely be back!

Wasn’t a fan of the phở. Broth didn’t have any real flavor. I had to add a bunch of sauces to get it palatable. Size was pretty small for the price compared to other phở locations. Bf ordered the honey walnut shrimp. It was great, however, a VERYSMALL serving. He was still quite hungry after. I’ll probably be back to give it another try(i don’t like to write off a place until at least 2 visits) Hopefully others have commented on how small the portions are and maybe the owners get a clue and increase the size or possible dare i say, decrease the prices.

Shrimp Spring rolls we ok, I’ve had better elsewhere. The sauce is watery and not too much flavor.
