I lived in Philly for 30 years of my life. Jersey Mike’s cheesesteak sandwich is definitely the closest I can get to that. Everything about it, the meat, the bread, and the cheese is authentic, and satisfying. I will never go to any other Fresno sandwich location again as long as this is available.

Exquisite service. Magic Mike’s delivers top quality food that packs a flavor punch straight to your mouth. I personally prefer the Italian sub because there is such a variety of meat on that sub, you can’t beat going Mike’s way too! Here, all of the meat is simply delicious. I would shove Mike’s meat down my throat at any given time. When you go Mike’s way, you’re going the way mike intended: with savory juices going down with the meat. There is no criticism for this establishment, as you can tell that the staff here are very eager to get their meat in your mouth. 5 stars definitely. Thank you Mike

Just so much better than the other sandwich shops around here. Fresh ingredients, Awesome combinations, and the staff is so kind and helpful. If you’re in the mood for a sandwich, I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Stopped by today and all I can say is the service was excellent, the staff was extremely friendly, the place was clean, and most importantly the food is very delicious. Incomparable to Subway or Port of Subs. It is delicious and tasty! I’d definitely come back here again. Trust me, you can’t pay someone a good review.

If you are tired of the same ol subs then you definitely need to try one of these sandwiches. They are incredibly good and have the perfect amount of meat and veggies. The taste is beyond what I was expecting and the pickles were so crisp! Who doesn’t love a crisp pickle? I ordered from their website last night (very convenient) and my food was ready in about 10 – 15 min. Just walked in told them I was there for pickup, showed my ID and they handed over the goods. I thought the packaging for the subs were pretty neat. They even wrote cute little notes on our sandwich packaging. I’ll be coming back for sure!

We were rushed with only one family behind mine still deciding what to order and our order wasn’t even made correctly. I start asking what I would like and before I could finish they had already wrapped mine together.

Walked in at 8:55pm on 11/​17, they close at 9pm. Worker told me they were closed. If you close at 8:55, put that on the sign instead and lock the door.

The sandwich I ordered was very good, but I won’t go back to this location. The employee wore gloves when taking my order, handling the pen and then the meat and cheese. She also touched her hair, again while wearing the same gloves. My grilled sandwich was wrapped behind the counter and handed over to me where I waited by the register. I then asked for it to be cut. The sandwich maker got irritated, telling me the time to ask for it to be cut was when I ordered, not when it was being handed to me. I explained it was my first time there and I didn’t know the rules. The male employee took back my sandwich and said, «Now you know.» So, to review: questionable food-​handling but yummy food and an authentic New Jersey attitude.
UPDATED: I just went back. Much less attitude and my sandwich was cut without a lecture or even me asking. Good sandwich. The iced tea, however, smelled rotten, rotten rotten.

Like the star rating says… Woohoo! Great sandwiches! They slice the cheese and meats fresh, right in front of you. I prefer the cold sandwiches because they come with the spices, and oils and sauces. The hot sandwiches are great also, but not as much of a complex flavor offering. My new favorite is the roast beef! Great, friendly, and helpful staff as well! Be sure to get your club membership and points started, as soon as possible, you might just need them! You can tell by the taste, that they use better meats, and cheeses!

I am dropping this down to 4 stars. I was considering 3 stars but had a bite of one of the cheese steak sandwiches and it was very good and had a good amount of meat.
However the cold roast beef that I ordered was hardly filled with meat. All I really tasted was lettuce and bread.
Will try again.

I have heard about this place for a while and was happy I finally got a chance to try it. The bread and ingredients were fresh and the staff was extremely friendly. It ranks way above any of the other quick sandwich places (subway, port, and togos). I ordered a #7 and #17. Both were excellent.

New sub place in Clovis so a friend and I came to check it out. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak Sub regular sized. So overall the sandwich was good but nothing extraordinary. The chicken was well seasoned and everything tasted fresh but the Chipotle mayo tasted more like ranch, I just wish it really would’ve tasted like chipotle mayo. I think that would’ve made a huge difference. I had one of their chocolate chip cookies for dessert and that I highly recommend. They were soft and tasted really fresh. Overall cool place as they have a couple tvs and I liked the fact they were showing the PSG soccer game. Extra points for that.

Delish! One of my favorite sandwich places right now. They give a generous amount of meat. The employees are great and helpful. They are friendly and they keep the place nice and clean. I had the chicken philly cheese steak and it was delish! Will come back for sure!

I stopped in here after seeing a fellow Unilocaler post a pic of their Steak Philly. The pic had all kinds of meat and ooey-​gooey melty cheese and I knew that I needed to try it.
I came in one night pretty close to closing time, so there was no line for me to stand in. There were only 2 people working at the time, and I explained that I needed a minute since I had never been there. I already knew the kind of sandwich, I just didn’t know what size. I finally settled on the Giant size, I figured that I could eat some then and then have some for a midnight snack ;)
After I paid I took a seat, close by the order counter/​prep station and watched them go to work making my masterpiece. I was happy to see that these cheesesteaks are not the premade variety like subway where they have the meat sitting in the refrigerated counter and then pop it in the microwave. They cook it on the grill right there in front of you!!! Hearing the meat sizzle and the smell wafting through the air was making my tummy growl.
My sandwich was ready in a few minutes and as soon as I unwrapped it, I knew I was in love. It looked and smelled like a cheesesteak should. Any cheesesteak lover knows what I am talking about, it is not a generic knockoff a la Subway. The roll was perfection, so soft on the inside yet had a enough of a toasti-​ness to the outer part of it, and I love the cornmeal on the bottom of the bread. The meat was delicious and the onions, bell peppers and cheese all blended well together… there was no flaw in this sandwich. Even after going home and eating the other ½ later that evening, the bread and contents still held up and tasted great.
I would most definitely recommend this place and I cannot wait to return.
As a side note, if you need to use the restroom you will need to get a code from the staff… there is a different code for the Men’s & Women’s.

Well, I tried the philly cheese.
not impressed.
the dressing they use was either too much or just not good. kind of gorpy.
is there supposed to be dressing on a Philly cheese? I don’t know .

Jersey Mikes is definitely a sub above. This new sandwich place in town will surprise you with just how good they are in terms of taste and quality, I didn’t think much of this place at first– I mean how good can another sandwich place be right?, but boy was I wrong, this place is different and definitely better than most sandwich places in Fresno. I would recommend trying their hot sandwich– Philly Cheesesteak, it is really good and I will tell you more.
The Philly Cheesesteak ($ 7.95) for normal size was phenomenal, a hot perfect mess in your mouth. It had soft warm bread with very nice soft texture as you bite in, yet slightly crispy on the outside. The filling was oozing with cheese, just the way this dish was intended, the beef was fresh and not from cold-​cuts. The beef was tender in texture, tasted great and portions was generous. Also the sandwich was nice and toasty as I was holding it in my hand to enjoy every bite.
It was not just food that I was impressed with, their customer service is worth mentioning, because they have really helpful, fun, lively, energetic and great customer service skills. The store is also very hip and new looking with beautiful décor of wood floors, surf board on the wall, a widescreen tv, bar stools, and a clean looking sandwich and ordering area.
I am looking forward to come back for their cold sandwich next time.

Excellent food and customer service! The first thing I noticed was that the staff really seems to enjoy their work. They are happy and approachable, they are always joking around with each other and the customers in line and always have smiles on as part of their uniform. Far too many times lately, I’ve seen employees at other places genuinely seem unhappy to be helping you, so the crew at Jersey Mike’s is a refreshing change. Happiness spills over into the food.
The sandwiches are good… really, really good! All meats and cheeses are sliced to order, and cold ingredients are always fresh. Their hot sandwiches are also a hit, and they have one of the best cheese-​steaks I’ve had in town. The bread has a perfectly chewy crust and is light and airy inside, yet stands up well to ordering your sandwich «Mike’s way» (a delicious blend of flavored vinegar and herbed olive oil).
I truly hope they can continue to be as awesome as they currently are, because I’m really enjoying them as my new «go-​to» sandwich place.

This new sub sandwich shop is something you must try, uniquely simple menu, happy environment with tasty food. The sandwich I had «#7» was awesome, The breads crust was perfectly crunchy while the inside was moist and soft. Fresh turkey and I mean fresh.

Oh my gosh, my husband was rite! This place is to die for! Beyond delicious and fresh! The customer service was amazing as well.
I ordered the Italian sandwich regular size (7inch) mikes way, which means a red wine vinegar and oil dressing with oregano on it. He ordered the #9 no roast beef instead extra bacon and mikes way as well. They gave us free chocolate chip cookies.
It’s so good I want another one for dinner! The meat and cheeses are all freshly cut when you order.
Will definitely be coming back! Beyond sad I forgot to receive my points for the purchase.
