I took my 13 year old to get a haircut today. I walked out. That’s it. I walked out. I went in to purchase a service and the stylist treated my daughter so poorly that I actually left before she could even begin. My daughter has wild and unruly hair. It’s curly and tangles so easily. Of course, we brushed it before we went in today. As she sat down in the chair the Supercuts Rep asked what we wanted and I responded by requesting a cut and a shampoo. She replied with disdain. She lifted my child’s hair and said «I can’t comb THIS. No. You can sit here and comb it out yourself. No way I’m doing it.» She retrieved a nasty hairbrush and handed it to my daughter who was HUMILIATED. My child began to apologize and explain, however, I took the hairbrush and handed it back to this awful person. I told her she could be rude to someone else and we were leaving. Disgusting. I REFUSE to give my money to companies who treat people like garbage. Her actions were demeaning and cruel. WOW! I can’t believe I experienced so much ugliness in the span of 1 minute… but I’m thankful we left before she could be worse. And BTW we got a haircut elsewhere, I tipped them generously and I was happy to do it because we were treated with dignity. NEVER GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING TREATED LIKE GARBAGE.

My overall experience with this location is very positive.
I started coming to the Shaw and Villa location to get my haircuts for about a year now.
When I come here, Jamelle cuts my hair and she does a fantastic job. She is very personable and professional and she makes me look great every time.
I question some of these negative posts on here about this Supercuts location.
Hairstylists can only work on one person-​at-​a-​time. This means that customers must be organized enough to call ahead to schedule a time and day to come for their service. Otherwise it’s a crap shoot whether you will be seen by a stylist when you come through the door– and that’s they way it is everywhere. Some days are busier than others. Walk-​in customers are certainly welcome there, but when your stylist can’t fit you in that day, understand that you’ll need to come back the next day or another time.
A stylist with a busy schedule is a good indication that they do excellent work that keep customers coming back.
The prices here are great too. Registering on
will get you coupons. I periodically will receive coupons via email which allows me to use the money I would have spent anyway for my stylist’s tip.

Every detail. Just wrong?
Please either replace your waiting area or the signs saying how important the details are to you. Chairs ripped, floor dirty, speakers scratchy. Made me leave before getting a cut.

Always does a great job. The only downside is they close early on weekends (open till 9 all week, then close at ⁶⁄₇ on Saturday/​Sunday). And when they have a great stylist, they don’t seem to stay long. :(Service is generally fast. We’ve had a few favorites over the years that we request, and they move onto other things/​salons/​etc. find a new favorite, and repeat.

I’ve gone to other hair cut spots (even Supercuts on Shaw/​Armstrong) in Clovis 5 or 10 minutes before they closed and they’ll take me in. I went to this place about 5 till 6 on a Sunday, there was no customers but there were 2 workers and they said no to me. I’m a guy, my haircut is simple and takes no more than 5 minutes. Never going to this place again. What a disappointment.

ha… now this a for sure hit and miss! i think it just depends on the location and whom ever decides they would like to cut your hair? once again the only reason i go her is because i signed up for the «text alerts» and i receive $ 2 offs and in the mail get two $ 5 offs never go if i dont have the coupon.

Yeah– hate to say it. Expensive– and not cut very well. My head looks like someone placed a bowl on it and shaved around it. I didn’t get anything near what I asked. I smiled paid and left. But I am not making them my salon of choice.

They have great deals on Jioco shampoo and conditioner, which is the only reason I stop by and the only reason they get two stars.
Do not — I repeat — do not go there for an eyebrow wax. Yeah, it’s cheap ($ 11 or $ 12 bucks, plus tip), but after four attempts I just gave up. They’ve waxed me bald; they’ve missed long strays anyone could see so I had to re-​do my brows when I got home, and they’ve made my brows seriously uneven. Plus, their machine practically boils the wax. I always left with red, red, red skin around my eyes, and one time I was blistered.
