We love this place food is great, all we even do bid takeout but service is good, and people ard friendly. What more could you want from a strip mall take out.

Cashier was nice and they use recyclable plastic so it’s not a one star. Water from the machine tasted distinctly like blue water or toilet/shower water. I waited 30 minutes for a simple chicken wrap and left without it. It was around 3:30, so I get it wont be as quick. But at least get my order done before a few to go orders or let me know how much longer I’ll wait. Not going back.

I love the Kebab Express at Fig Garden Village and now I find that the same great dishes are now within walking distance. Try the beef kebab plate with the bulgar and a salad.

It’s name is misleading. There is nothing«express“about it. Expect to wait up to a half hour for all the orders ahead of yours to be cooked before your order gets prepared. The soda machine was broken today

Awesome food! They are one of the few Mediterranean ‘express’ restaurants cooking their Chicken, Lamb and Beef skewered to order. Love the friendly service and convenient location near the bike trail.

The falafel plate was so good, crispy on the outside and flavorful. The hummus was also tasty. The environment was clean and inviting.

I’m giving this 2 stars because first off, they were out of Gyro meat, really? Where do all the other places in town get it? Secondly, they gave us frozen tahini/pickled beets. The hummus was good but the falafel was a bit dry and salad lacked flavor. Lulu wrap was dry as well, with flavorless tomatoes and lacking the delicious garlic sauce I’m accustomed to.

I was confused at first, when I imagines express, I imagine non-authentic, fast, cheap meals(under $ 10) and poor quality, somewhat like Panda Express, however this place seems to be the exact opposite — great Mediterranean food, takes time to make it, ingredients were high quality and meal prices not as cheap as an express($ 8 and up), actually quite the contrary, it was pricey; the only«express» image I could conjure is the casual self-serve and unimpressive décor. If your dining in or taking out in a rush or superbly hungry before coming, I would place my order on the phone ahead of time for the reason their food takes 10 – 15 minutes to make after ordering, since everything is made fresh. I ordered the combo plate $ 13.99 which ended up to be $ 15.99 with an additional $ 2, because I selected lamb as one of my choices, I was a little dumfounded by this extra $ 2 charge when the menu writes 2 meats choice of either lamb as, beef, chicken or lule. I would think that was included in the price, I didn’t have a problem with paying it, but I would have preferred if I was told or at least mention that in the menu, there was no clause in the menu that mentions that, and the cashier whom took my order didn’t even ask if that was ok when I was making my selection. To me that was bluntly dishonest, or maybe just an honest faux pas. Anyways for future patrons be aware of that. However displeased I was, I would be objective with the review base on my food experience not price. The price of meals here is not cheap, but the quality is great so I can’t complain. The combo plate was delicious and the reason I would return, both the chicken and the lamb was juicy and perfectly grilled, the flavor of the meats were great, the fattoush salad was nicely dressed and fresh, the meal also came with hummus, which was again nicely seasoned and delicious. The rice and bulgur was the greatest part of the meal it was very flavorful and almost buttery tasting, not in the sick fatty way, but taste wise that is how I would describe it, very buttery and fluffy. The disappointing part of the meal was the bread, everything else was fresh and then the bread was really the cheap kind, I would have used high quality bread instead, I mean it isn’t that expensive to begin with. Also the lamb although great, was somewhat not as tasty as lamb should be, it was a little poorly marinated or wasn’t cooked with a smokey flavor from grilling it on a grill with onions, I would have preferred that. Overall the service was great and friendly, the interior is not divey, but kind of tacky. There was also a musky smell that dwelled in the inside of the restaurant, made it almost unbearable to sit in and eat, thank god I had it for take out, I don’t think its a sanitary issue but rather a ventilation issue that needs attention. I do hope the business would improve on the price issue on their menu, the taste of the lamb being flavorless, & finally the overall smell of its establishment being musky. Overall I am a fan of this place for its great tasting food, but not so much a fan of its price, this place needs to justify its price for the casual setting its giving, I got cheaper food at Phoenician garden, which happens to be an upper scale restaurant with the same or better quality of food.

The humus is awesome! The Chicken plate is good. My daughter loves the pilaf. They are always pleasant when we go in.

Went there yesterday. The place was filthy. There were two young ladies in the back. I placed our order as I had numerous times before. When the food come out it looked unappetizing. The beef kebabs were over cooked to the point they weren’t edible. They used to give you large pieces of meat. These were less than bite size, well if we could have chewed them. We ate the salad and rice and threw the rest away. On prior trips even when the restraunt was busy it was always clean. If someone left the person in the back always came out and checked to make sure the seating area was clean. Not once, even when they brought the food out, did anyone attempt to clean the three dirty tables, or the food all over the floor. We won’t recommend this place again, nor will we go back!!!

Food was delicious! My boyfriend and I both ordered the chicken plate– the chicken was moist and tender while keeping a great flavor. They gave a very generous amount of rice and hummus alongside pita, steamed veggies and a salad for only $ 11. Totally recommend this place for anyone who loves Mediterranean food!

For a place that’s just getting started, they definitely seem to have their act together. The staff was very friendly. The food was hot and delicious. Definitely met my expectations.

2 stars because the humus is good, other than that this is a one star place. There are not a lot of Mediterranean choices in this part of Clovis so I was excited to try this place out. Almost $ 12 for a Lavash wrap. I’ll pay that but it had better be a knock down success of a wrap. This was flavorless and ate like a salad, to say it was dry is an understatement. As our group ate everyone who had a wrap literally had a pile of stale bread and salad drop on their plate. Other Unilocalers have defended the extended amount of time it takes for food prep here because it’s so «fresh». The Gyro meat was frozen, rubbery and had no flavor. I have no issue with that but don’t have Express in your name. We go in for lunch last week and it took forever. One of the reasons we picked it was because it said Express and expected service to be expedient. Locally owned place and I wish them success but I will not be back.

Walked in at lunch time and the place was empty. The service was far less than«express» and the food was less than mediocre. I love a good mediterranean restuarant, especially on the fly and this was none of those things. The beef was flavorless and still bleeding when I got it(barf), the pita bread taste like cardboard and was as stiff as a board. Just not tasty, or satisfying at all.

This place is perfectly located on the bike trail I often cruise on, so naturally I had to try it. The service is great, they cook to order so if you’re in a hurry call in your order. The combination plates are delicious! Plenty of food at a great price! Hummus is on point!

Good food. Ordered a beef gyro(because they were out of lamb). It was tasty, fresh and appealing. Clean restaurant and restroom. Will be returning.

My comparison to other Mediterranean places. Average to Good food. Pricey. Average portion size. Pretty slow-not express at all. But if you want fresh you have to wait of course. I would go again if they start doin lunch specials.

Was heading to a different place and happened to see their«now open» sign. We like med food, thought we’d give em a try. Turns out they’ve been open for 2.5 months. Only one other couple and a take out while we were here. Kinda slow for the prime lunch hour. The food was good. Wife and I split the veggie plate: two each falafel and yalanchi; and a fatoush salad and hummus. Everything was fresh and tasty, the garlic sauce was… Garlicky. Kinda pricey at $ 10.49. More likely I’d come back if it were a little cheaper.

They need to remove the word«express» from their name, took 30 minutes to get our food. I wouldn’t have minded quite as much if the word EXPRESS hadn’t been in the name. Good food(great flavor on the chicken), but WAY overpriced for what essentially amounts to a fast food environment. We were getting a bit«hangry» waiting for our food. $ 11 for chicken, rice, veggies and salad. Tips for the owner: change the name, or speed up service; drop the price to $ 10 for chicken, $ 12 for beef. Tough to stomach a 30 minute wait and $ 30 new for a family of four. For that price and time commitment, I’d rather go to a restaurant where I am served.
