I haven’t been to port of subs before it is super good! Pretty cheap. I got the roasted chicken and provolone on sourdough it was good. I also noticed they have a lot of specials so that’s always nice! It was clean and the girl Rachel was nice. I will be back.

They make a great hot pastrami. That is hard to find around here. Fast, friendly and always good.

Port of Subs does a great job The bread is just as soft as Geno’s They also make a good macaroni salad. Located in the shopping center on the SE corner of Fowler/Shaw where the new Walmart Neighborhood Market is.

Okayyy. so today is my kid’s birthday, and we had a party at Playland. I would have invited you, but you Unilocalers are critical folk and I don’t need the griping and whining at my kid’s birthday. However, if you had been invited, you would have been standing there next to me, saying, «Ashley, what is a number 8? What is on a number 2?», as we stared at the trays of Port of Subs sandwiches before us. Now, I know, even as I keep typing, that by the end of this review, you will think of me(if you don’t already) as a hyper-critical snot. How much can I expect for $ 50? My problem is that I firmly believe everything is in the details. Every time you are impressed or wowed, it’s because somebody went that one extra step and added that extra little touch. (By the way, I wasn’t expecting to be wowed. My happiness doesn’t revolve around sandwiches… unless they are Whole Foods sandwiches. and then I might have to admit they can be a bit of a mood booster.) This is how it went down, yo. I ordered 8 feet of sandwiches for the party, 4 days in advance, with explicit instructions. I asked them to cut the sandwiches in 4″ pieces and wrap them individually.(I didn’t do this because I was feeling sadistic — I needed them to be portable and easy to keep cool.) I called them to make sure they understood, they called me last night to double check and my husband called them to ask them if they would label the sandwiches, so we knew what we were getting once it came time to eat. I was actually surprised when we picked them up and they had gotten the cutting into pieces part right. Sweet. It was only when we got there and told everyone they could eat that the ever-popular party game, «What’s in my mouth?» began. They labeled the sandwiches by THENUMBER on their menu. Not«T» for Turkey or «H» for Ham. Nope. We got two bag fulls of #1, #8, #2. I’m not a petty person, but it just kind of sucked when our guests had to unwrap sandwiches until they found something they wanted to eat. It isn’t that big of an issue… I get that… it just sucks that it happened after we talked to them about it numerous times. This tiny lack of detail knocks them down a star for me. I’m a prude when it comes to my stars. The sandwiches were good and for the price, you can’t beat it. But if you order from here, make sure you bring your purse with the spare Port of Subs menu. Damn First World problems.

It’s not hard to make a good sandwich, but they take it a step further. Very good subs at very reasonable prices. The staff was very nice too. Went there twice this week.
