I’m never one of those customers who likes to cause trouble, but this was just one of those experiences that made me feel uncomfortable if it was left unnoticed. The lady who took our order was relatively nice, considering how hot it was and how busy they were. I ordered a #11 meal, and a bacon chili cheese dog combo for my brother. When we got home, his fries were not there, but were instead replaced by a single onion ring and a piece of toast. We thought it was funny, and didn’t have the time to go back and ask for our money back, but it was just strange. I don’t know if it was a mix up or if it was laziness, but we certainly didn’t have 100% accuracy. Despite this, we will come back again.

This place is awful. I ordered a hot dog and it was so greasy and soggy it made my stomach hurt. How do you make a greasy hot dog? They need to clean their grills obviously. The slush had practically no flavor syrup in it and when I told them that they just squirted more in and brought I back to me… will never be back.

There has to be more grease on the drive through window than on the grill. If the window you serve the customers through is that filthy what does the rest of the kitchen look like? The grounds and menu signs in the pull ins (half are missing) are a bad sign that the owner and the employees just don’t care. This place will be closed again before summer. Good riddance and please stay closed this time.

Terrible!!! Overcharge on happy hour items all the time! Mix ins that should be included they’ll charge us extra for, check your receipt… It’s usually an extra $ 1 – 3! We Spoke to manager and she said she’d change it… nope! Dirty and the employee tried to argue with us that up charging is just what they’ve always done! Hate this place!

I have never in my life seen any Sonic this busy! Staff are super nice. My order somehow got missed so my drink was on the house! Diner Dash would be perfect training during the time frame I was here! I would not have been able to keep the orders straight and accomplish all they did in the time they did … And keep a positive attitude! Great job! Customer service trumps all.

Went through the drive-​through because I figured it was better than McDonald’s. Ordered a #2 Super Sonic meal with onion rings and a chocolate Coke, and the kids wanted fries and chocolate shakes. They remembered my ranch (yay!), but forgot the kids’ shakes! We got half-​way home and turned around for the shakes; the same kid was at the drive-​through and told us to pull to the right. Another girl came out a minute later with our shakes.
When I tried the burger, it was pretty good, with a couple soggy parts in the bin. Ample lettuce and pickles. The onion rings were another story – the coating was light yellow, not cooked, and came off in crumbles, and the onions tasted soggy (turn the heat up in your fryer!). The kids likes the fries; I stole one and thought they were average and on the salty side. The chocolate Coke wasn’t well-​mixed, and I slurped a big glob of chocolate through my straw and had to spit it out! Disgusting! The mints are chewable.

Really like the Cherry limeade, the service isn’t the best. Ben was nice he offered a drink caddy and he seemed really nice.

Worstttttt sonic hate it!!! The breakfast burrito combo that I paid $ 7.50 for had all egg and like a couple pieces of steak wish I never went will never go again.

Worst service ever!!! They are slow even with only two cars at the drive in! The girls are rude! I will NEVER COME BACK to this location.

I used to go to this location when I lived in Fresno. I used to come here during the summer to get an ice cream sundae. I love Sonic Drive-​In a lot.

Must be the WORST Sonic ever! Manet for half priced shakes after 8 pm only to be charged $.70 extra for totally normal shake flavors. When questioned the manager said that even if I ordered vanilla I would’ve been charged the $.50 I was being charged for strawberry. If I could give 0 stars I would. They are awful! Check your receipts!!!

I must be the only person that gets Iced Tea here. In fact the girl working the window told me so. She had just dumped it (they were about to close) before I showed up. So she made me her favorite cherry limeade and I was good. That plus a large order of tater tots sure hit the spot when the munchies set in.

Went there and got moldy bread. The guy on skates just brushed it off and then came back and handed us a coupon, like I was going to come back for more food after that. We had to ask for our money back after being offered another hot dog. The peppermints were even stale

Buyer’s Remorse:
I have been craving hot dogs ever since the weather started getting hot and baseball season started. I can’t seem to get a break here in Fresno/​Clovis! The only hot dog place that was decent closed down years ago. What’s wrong with you people? Hot dogs not good enough for ya?
Anyway, so I end up at Sonic’s for the «pretzel bun hot dog». What a joke. It’s a soggy pretzel bun with no taste. The wiener was okay, but for $ 4 bucks for a pretzel bun (I use that tern loosely) and a wiener with mustard (only), in NYC I could have gotten a tasty grilled dog on a steamed bun with mustard, «red onion sauce» and relish PLUS a fruit smoothy! AND that hot dog would have been fantastic! So, I also go for the «American» with regular bun and relish, onion, mustard – then they ruined it with ketcup! Ugh! Only little kids put ketcup on a hot dog right? But anyway… the relish tasted like it was dripping in corn syrup! It didn’t have that zip that I associate with relish. Yuck! How hard is it to mess up a hot dog? Really?
Come on Sonic!
The only reason I gave them 1 star is because the big ice drink that I got was excellent. But that’s all I’d go there for is the cherry-​lime-​cherry drink that I made up.
I usually don’t rag on Fast Food joints, because it is what it is… but this IMO is a rip off. I’ll be back for the MEGA size, diabetic inducing drinks but that’s it.

*BTW: for this I can get 3 hot dogs and a Lg smoothie – and it would be the best dog I’ve ever had! «Papaya Kings» or «Grey’s Papaya» for the win.

Service was awful, but it’s Sonic so I waited… and waited… and waited, until 30 minutes later I was Audi with my shake and wich in hand. Good food, bad service

the only reason i come here is for the happy hour drinks ½ off so not bad especially for a 44oz!
the service is the worst, the staff is a bunch of annoying ass kids who think because they can skate they’re the coolest thing sense burnt toast.
the food is okay, i love the hot dogs, but i no longer get them due to them being cold and rubbery like… :(eww!
the ice cream are really good your pay for a large. you get a LARGE!
before it closed down, it was the best! the service was perfect the food was cooked the way it was meant to taste like, and I’ve never had any problems! now they re-​opened it… its just not worth going to.

Service was OK… guy on skates one star.
Two orders either cold and overcooked missing items… not recommended…

Contrary to what everyone else has written, I like the food here and I’ve never had any problems with service or food. I love the coney dogs. If you want a horrible sonic go to kingsburg. That one is horrible.
