I ordered a cherry slush float. It is a cherry slush, with ice cream; made into a float. Just ordering it stumps them! Today the float I received was absolutely horrible. I had to throw it away. The slush wasn’t mixed. It was ice, with concentrated cherry flavoring sitting on it. The Ice cream was made in a dirty freezer. The texture of the ice cream was grainy, or waxy. I am presently trying to call sonic, to let them know there is a problem with the ice cream. Several attempts, to get them on the phone, have failed. They do not answer. This has left a bad taste, in my mouth; literally! Sonic, we’re done!

Great place to drive-in and feed your belly. I was very pleased with the service I recieved, especially by the employee that served me named John Fairchild. I ordered a Chicago dog with Tator tots and a chocolate coke. Everything was so delicious. The Chicago dog was loaded with toppings and was still hot when I recieved it. The Tator tots were crunchy and flavorful and the chocolate coke was to die for. Definetly a regular place for my friends and I. Manager is kind of an asshole though. He speaks in Spanish and you can tell he is calling you names. Other than that, an outstanding restaurant.

Where to begin? Sonic is such a great place to relax if you have a car, there’s also patio seating. The service here is phenomenal. Our waiter(I think his name is john) showed us utmost courtesy and helped us to make up our minds on what we wanted to eat. he was also very attentive With our money, which I don’t see in very many establishments nowadays. We must’ve ordered 4 different times and in no way did our waiter show any sign that we were of annoyance, he was very patient. The food was also very tasty! I loved shoving sonic’s foot long, cheese-covered, savory wiener in my mouth. It was honestly the most delicious wiener I’ve ever put in my mouth. Along with the tater tots that come with every meal, sonic also gives you a variety of options for beverages. They also know how to keep control of their customers. A few customers were being very disrespectful, and the manager came and handled the situation professionally. Thank you sonic

This deserves negative reviews. We just went there and the box that you order through was cutting out completely. Couldn’t hear the guy at all. My boyfriend ordered a shake and the guy was like I’m sorry sir I didn’t catch that. We attempted to tell the guy what we wanted two more times before asking if we could order at the window and then he yelled at us «I DIDNTCATCHTHAT?!» EXTREMELYLOUD and in a rude tone. We drove up to the window after that and told him the shake one last time(which was an order our roommate text us so my boyfriend was reading the order off his phone). And then the guy says, «can I see your phone?» Um. No. The guy was extremely rude and we have had slow service here before but decided to give another chance considering its right down the street from where we live. No you can’t see/hold/anything our $ 1000 dollar phone. We just drove off after he asked that.

Food is mediocre but the slushies are pretty good. Sonic blasts are always good as well. Drive thru has always been fast for me but their speaker is really shitty so you have to really pay attention. I hate their speaker.

This review is for my carhop and drink. Michaela is a five-star carhop. The credit card machine didn’t work at the stall I parked in, so she scanned my card, then went back to get my water, then some mustard for my corn dog, never wavering in her friendliness. I gave her a nice tip. The lemon-berry real fruit slushie is perfect, not too sweet, burned all the way down, and gave me immediate brain freeze – oh, the agony. How nice to be cold on a 105-degree day. B) My first Sonic Happy Hour drink. I may not care much for the food here, but I love their shakes, slushies, and drinks, especially during Happy Hour. Non-shake and non-blast drinks are on ½ off from 2 – 4 pm weekdays, and the shakes and blasts are ½ off after 8 pm. Sweet deal.

Stopped on our way to a day at the lake. Had the boats(kayaks) with us so we parked it. Went to the order machine in the middle and waited forever after being initially greeted with a «just a moment please»… Apparently any car in the drive through is given priority until the drive through is clear.(In my head I’m thinking someone needs to play some Diner Dash for gaining time management skills). Ordered a premium steak and egg breakfast burrito, because, you know, protein! It’s gonna be a long day on the water. And what breakfast isn’t complete without orange juice! We’ll see how long it takes as three more cars make their way through the drive through. I’m starving!!! Lol! The one thing missing from their breakfast menu: iced coffee… They have Java shakes… Which is close, I suppose. 9 cars and 12 minutes later we finally get our food. 14.00 later… The food is okay… Why does there have to be tator tots in everything? The steak was dry and crispy… I’m still waiting to get to the cheese part… Oh wait! There it is!!! Conclusion… I love sonic, but breakfast is not their forte.

This place is NOT closed, sadly. I raced over here after school one day to get the happy hour(ends at 4). I made it there at 3:50, however the line was long and the WORKERSARESOSLOW. By the time I made it up to the ordering window, it was literally 3:59 and I asked if they would still let me use the happy hour prices and they said no. I was so angry that I just left. You’re going to make me wait in a line for 10 minutes then not give me the discount I deserve? At least give me a medium size for the price of a small. Definitely not doing business here again. I’d rather eat at In n Out anyways!

The best customer service in Fresno/Clovis area! Also the best joint for their drinks. Thanks guys, for showing up the Blackstone/Gettysburg location in terms of quality.

Takes forever to get your food. Horrible service. My experience with sonic has been bad across the board. I once waited twenty minutes for a grilled cheese. Also, a worker once attempted to steal from me by giving me the wrong change(he gave me a $ 1 bill instead of a $ 5 and then somehow knew what was wrong when we had waited for him to correct the mistake). One time we showed up past closing and they said«Welcome to Sonic, we are now closed». Needless to say that is now an inside joke between me and my friends. However, I do enjoy the food. Not worth the wait.

I like Sonic Drive In, but this location sucks. The food is generally OK, assuming they get your order right. Sometimes the tots are overloaded with salt. The main reason to steer clear is the staff. You’ll usually get some combination of rude, deaf, or incompetent. Last time I went here, I got attitude from the guy working the drive thru. It was around 9 at night, and the place was pretty dead. After a couple of minutes trying to get the order in, I told him never mind. As I drove off, he shouted a couple of obscenities at the top of his lungs out the service window at me. I have no idea what it would take to get me to try this place again. 5÷27÷2013: Guess I won’t get a chance. This Sonic has been shut down! 6÷7÷2013: Per Sonic Corporate, the owner shut this location down and is considering whether to re-open or not. Closed until further notice.

I agree with Kristine — it takes forever here and has not gotten any better over the years.

We came here because Sonic had advertised Free Root Beer Floats yesterday(June 3rd) through tv commercials and signs posted outside of the restaurant. We went to 2 Sonic locations, and both claimed that they were out of the«Free» floats, but they notified me that I was more than welcome to purchase the regular sized float, which they conveniently had in stock. I seriously got the same exact line from both drive-thru servers, as if it was a planned corporate response. I should have got the clue when cars ahead of me in the drive-thru were angrily peeling out without ordering anything. Horrible bait-and-switch tactic. My friend ended up getting a lime-ade at the second Sonic we went to just because we were already there, which I suspect was Sonic’s intention for their«free giveaway» day. 1 star for bad business practices. Their food is expensive next to comparative fast food chains and tastes no better than McDonald’s on a good day anyway, in case you’ve never been here.
