Walgreens

This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. This was the second time this happened to me here so I have to write this. First about 8 months ago my dr faxed in a prescription for me and when I got there to pick it up they claimed they never received it. So I called the dr office again and they were going back and forth until finally I was able to go get it. This happened again last week with my baby’s medication. Her pediatrician called in some meds. When I get there to pick them up they only had one of them and said they only got prescription for one. I had to call back and forth again to straighten things out. Worst part was when I went to pick her antibiotics up they charged me full price! I was in a hurry so I just asked the guy at the drive through if the price was after insurance (18.95) he said yes. And I drove off. Next day I called my insurance just to make sure bc that didn’t sound right to me and my copay is $ 10. Well turns out that medication was only supposed to cost me 4.95! And they never ran it through my insurance! I was so mad but didn’t want to go through the hassle of submitting a claim plus I threw away the receipt. All I know is I will never use this pharmacy again.

This review is only in regards to the pharmacy and applies to every Walgreens I have ever been to. They lie to the patient, they lie to the Doctor, they refuse to pick up a telephone when they claim the Dr. didn’t respond to their fax. I have had several different physicians who have admitted to me that Walgreens Pharmacy is the worst! One even showed me proof that she faxed the RX to them and they swear they never got it. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again. Go to Vons.
Update Nov 5, 2015-​It just happened to me again! Vons computer was down so my Dr called my RX in to Walgreens. They said nobody called, no fax was sent, no email and no message was left! Either I am psychic or they rarely get it right because what are the odds that it only happens to me and it happens EVERY TIME?!

They are awesome Idk what you others guys are complaining about the pharmacy lady helped me to the very end. She even called to the other store because they didn’t have my prescription. .awesome work

Can never go wrong with taking a trip to Walgreens, usually it’s because I’m sick so I never spend to much time shopping.

One because zero stars is not an option but I felt the need to warn Unilocalers about this specific location. This place is the epitome of bad customer service! Forget getting an extra ounce of effort from anyone here. they don’t care about their patients/​customers. Take your business elsewhere!

After the pharmacy drove me crazy I told the manager I would never step foot in a Walgreens again, and I haven’t

Friendly enough, but very slow– at the pharmacy counter (probably because of the drive-​thru) and the Photo Center (unstaffed when I went there).
Always tempted to grab a cheap wine bottle (Barefoot/​Yellowtail) and guzzle so the time would pass.
1 more star for recycling my printer cartridges at the Photo Center

Denied having my photos despite proving they did with a reciept. They even attempted to argue and deny that it was their responsibilty. After calling customer service at the store, they still denied having the order. I will not be using this Walgreens again.
