1st time here but not the last. Great staff, they seem to work together well. I had a shredded chix burrito called Macho. Huge it will feed two people so I’m not hungry anymore. Some local beer on tap. Salsa is awesome. Didn’t get to try the chips as my order was to go. Only negative was that rice was bland. Great atmosphere.

Good fish tacos and enchiladas. It delivered exactly what I was expecting. Still would like to know how they crisp the cheese that goes on top of the beans. Fast service.

A spur of the moment stop here at Taco City with my family was worthwhile, although not that great. Its great coming here on Taco Tuesday! Getting a taco for $ 2 is pretty nice! Even though those tacos are a bit on the tasteless side. For $ 2 its a good taco, but if I got it for more, it wouldn’t be worth it. The place is small and crowded, not to mention the absurd service, but all the while its a great place. I’ve had better tacos and these don’t compare to the ones I’ve had. The pies aren’t the best thing ever either. For me personally, I like my pies a bit bitter, but if you’ve got a sweet tooth, the pies are just right. Other people have different taste than me, so I can’t speak for everyone. The price was right and the food was satisfying. I will be coming back to test out their other foods, but for now 3 stars is just about my judging.

Love this Cocoa Beach institution. I may have reviewed it before??? But it’s worth a follow up. Honestly, I’m shocked that it only has 3.5 stars. Never heard of it??? A little further South on A1A… It’s away from the busier restaurant and retail area. Worth the extra mile. Get the hard shell tacos… Any variety. You. Will. Thank. Me. Hubby loves the refried beans. Little dude loves the queso. Seriously, we’ve never had a bad meal here. Also… Dog Friendly patio!!! GO!!!

Guacamole was awesome! Had the hombre it was like eating roast beef wrapped in a tortilla. Not my favorite but will definitely go back.

$ 2 beef and chicken tacos for taco Tuesday. The tacos have plenty of meat in them. I liked the fried corn tortillas. Chicken was good. The beef had absolutely no flavor. I could have made tastier beef tacos at home. Neither taco had anything special to it, like sauce or anything. They came with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and olives. I just liked that they had corn tortillas as an option. I was tired of the flour tacos at Sandbar. The soft tortillas fell apart. The hard ones are fried here, so that’s nice. DONOT get beef. Beef has absolutely no flavor to it. I’d come back for hard chicken tacos on a Tuesday and that’s about it. They should fix their wobbly booths. When the person behind you moves, the whole seat rocks. You have to get up to place your own order, bring your chips and drink to a table & any silverware you need. The radio outside is much too loud. My experience was OK.

As a self proclaimed taco expert this place doesn’t disappoint! Shrimp tacos were great and the guac is to die for. Salsa could use some work. The margarita salad was huge, fresh and gave me 2 meals!

Great place. Great food and service. This is our go to place when in the area! The only concern is the parking but get creative and find a spot. The staff is very accommodating with special requests! Well worth the visit!

Heard from some locals that this place was sooo good. Decided to get some awesome tacos. Well when you sit down you then have then get back up and order at the bar. Bring some hand sanitizer because the menus are filthy, probably not wiped off in months. Then you have to get up and get your drinks, silverware, napkins, straws, etc. Someone then brought out our food, not sure if she was a waitress because she was never to be seen again. Both ladies in our group ordered hard shell tacos and all were broken in halves upon arrival. My son ordered a beef burrito and it was cold, my fish soft tacos were lost forever, buried under a thick layer of beans and rice. Food was more or less an attempt at a TexMex style and not a very good attempt at all. We were 4 of 8 people in the entire place and never saw the waitress again. No one stopped by and asked if the food was okay, so I’m not sure if they even offer free refills or some kind of desserts. This is not at all a must eat here place while in Cocoa Beach, it’s more of a last resort because there’s nothing else open establishment. Very disappointed with dirty menus, food, and service. Please do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Nice little surf style taco place. Food is simple and good. Nothing too fancy. Meals are fresh and hot. Parking can be challenging when you go during peaks times.

Quick place for lunch. Space inside is small, but we found a place to sit. I got the«macho» and it was great. Service was quick and friendly! Really no complaints besides it was hot inside and it seems to be an older place. But overall clean, good food and service!

I ordered the Lexi’s Southwest Wrap, Danny’s Way… a lot, a bit bland but filling. I could only finish half of it. My other party ordered the Chings and Chongs, Jr’s style. He loved it but could not finish it either. The staff are extremely friendly and on-point. Very refreshing compared to standard chains. I recommend going, it’s cool, calm and friendly.

Lord help me guide people away from this awful restaurant. Honestly, just spend the little extra on gas and drive south to Dos Amigos you won’t be disappointed. My quesadilla was soggy and funny how the commenter below said they make Chicago pizza sized ones? Uh, well mine must of missed the mark because it was small and flat as hell, not to mention SOGGY. And the burrito was just a mush of beef, cheese and tortilla. Paying 10 bucks for the Hombre you would expect veggies like let’s say. tomatoes, lettuce, jalapenos etc. Don’t even think twice to splurge on the guac, it’s just as terrifying. Overall, the lack of quality on the ingredients and under prepared food will not leave me coming back. And I hope to make both customers and the establishment itself aware the disappointment.

Billy G. s review… that guy is just hating so decent. Go back to cali if you don’t like it. Because taco city is like an east coast land mark and I personally think they make the best tacos I’ve ever tasted! I’m about to go eat some now!!!

I grew up in California and spent a few years in the Houston area. I know Mexican, and Taco City is a poor excuse for comida Mexicana. I ordered a couple of tacos and a big beef burrito, figuring how can I go wrong? The flavors in both were bland at best, while the meat in my burrito was like knawing on a dog’s chew toy. The salsa was not freshly made, instead tasting like it was poured from a jar. It didn’t take long to realize I went wrong by pulling into the parking lot. Locals swear by this place, so talking negatively about this place on the beach is like dissing hometown hero Kelly Slater. To avoid this dilemma, avoid Taco City and opt instead for Taco Bell, a few miles north.

Every time I’m at the beach I must stop here! I love this place!!! To start, their salsa is amazing! They generally hand you some with chips free. You order at counter and they’ll bring food out to your table once ready. Today, I ordered the #7 a taco, relleno, and an enchilada. Amazing! Enchilada also came with refried beans and rice. My favorite was the taco and prolly next time will stick to those. My partner had«Macho» chicken burrito and loved it also. Fresh, delicious this place is a must! They also have a pretty decent beer list and wine based cocktails. I wish I had this restaurant in my neighborhood!
