A friend recommended this place. He’s a local and he was right. Enjoyed everything and both us couldn’t finish our meals it was so much. Definitely will come back. Just an hour 10 mins from Orlando. Great evening.

Food was amazing as well as service. Being from New England and missing real seafood we had to give it a try and found out they serve whole belly clams which is impossible to find in FL. Definitely will be going back here again !!!

Absolutely delish!!! Fresh whole belly claims. And new england clam chowder. The only reason not a five star. there was a little to much sand for me in the soup and clams.

Just had THEBEST food in Cocoa Beach, by far. I had the broiled scallop platter w) onions rings & pasta, while my husband had clam chowder, broiled cod w) onion rings & Cole slaw. Wow! The scallops were sweet & plentiful, the clam chowder to die for, & the cod delectable. The waitress was pleasant & good at her job even with a crowd. The chef(owner) appeared to be cooking alone but came out to check on our food. Wonderful owner & wait staff, delicious food & good prices. We strongly recommend this cute, eclectic restaurant.

3.5 stars — rounded up because the guy was super nice. Seems to be a 2-person operation, at least on the mid-week night we visited. Place is run down and needs a facelift, but the food was tasty and we appreciated the casual beach atmosphere. The two of us are Boston born and raised, so we know our Cape Cod seafood. This was pretty close! Lobster roll, onion rings, fried clams, slaw all reminded us(more or less) of home. Will return.

Wow, been back home for 15 years and only just ate here. Almost gave it 4 stars due to ambiance or lack of but my wife called it eclectic. Good and service was great. Calm«chodah», steamers, and fried shrimp. All awesome. Dated interior is funky but think«Diners, dives, etc». Great place not too crowded.

Not bad but not great either. Unilocal reviews seemed to suggest this is a good find. Nothing wrong with what we ordered to eat but the quantity versus the cost was disappointing. I had the oyster roll. Wife had a small soup and small salad. Bill like $ 28. I can’t ping it for anything quality-wise except the portions could have been more for these prices.

This restaurant is exactly the kind of hidden gem I look for while on vacation. It’s unassuming yet charming, remotely located from the ‘tourist trap’ area, and best of all delicious. Everything is homemade. The service was friendly and personal. I ordered the beer battered cod with onion rings and it was amazing. You cannot go wrong at The Cape Codder

The hot lobster roll here is one of Brevard County’s true gems. Spring for the overstuffed version and you won’t regret it.

This is one of my favorite places for authentic NE seafood. Staff is friendly and helpful not only with meal selections but welcoming us to Cocoa Beach. Want authentic Cape Cod seafood, this is the place to go. Fried clam roll is the best and the clam chowder is great. We gave never been disappointed…

growing up in New England and living in SoCAl I know seafood and this is not it. The house red wine was actually the nicest surprise. I ordered a platter mix of scallops and whole clams along with cole slaw and onion rings and pasta. The platter did not come with scallops, the clams were whole belly but small and so breaded for the size they were like popeys shrimp. The onion rings were burnt and over breaded and greasy as heck. The cole slaw was days old and probably was not very interesting when fresh. The pasts came with marinara which still was surprisingly greasy. The service was excellent but the meal was disgusting.

This is definitely not a fancy place to eat, but the food is fantastic! My 11 year old son loved the clam chowder, and haddock lunch basket. He ordered onion rings and Key Lime pie, and LOVED them both! I had broiled scallops and the other people in my party had the lobster roll, and blackened haddock on a Caesar salad. Everyone was very happy with their food. This place is tiny, and there is one waitress, and one cook. He cooks with very limited equipment. So if they’re busy, be prepared to wait for a little while. However, when the food comes, it will be hot, and fresh.

This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. So Glad we came here. Our Best Seafood in Cocoa Beach. Clams so fresh they squeak. Fresh Shrimp cooked perfectly. You get 3 side dish choices. We had garden salads, coleslaw and onion rings. It was nice to have a green salad on vaca but my husband said next time he would order onion rings, onion rings and onion rings. Yep they are that good. . Very reasonable prices and the waitress was friendly and Very efficient. The owner/chef knows what hes doing and does it well. Loved his work? T-shirt. Highlight of our multi seafood adventure in Cocoa Beach!

Arrived at 6:30 and the place was full. Stood around for awhile waiting to be greeted. No luck. Asked if I could order take out. Stood around a little more. Take out order placed stood around a little more, finally sat down because it did not appear that my order was going show up anytime soon. 7:25 still waiting. Needless to say the service is slooooow. Hope the food is better then the service. The reason maybe because they only had one cook and one server. Staff was kind but overwhelmed. Post later on the food!

Onion rings are fabulous. Their fried cod used to be unbelievable! Thick piece of fish! Now cod is thin and tasteless! SKIP the cod. I had oysters there a while back and they were tasty but tiny! Onion rings a 5… cod was fabulous now a 1. I won’t order oysters again… way to risky! I will stop for homemade onion rings! Almost forgot… Their homemade tarter sauce is fabulous!
