I’ve been to this location about half a dozen times and always enjoy it. My favorite is the chop salad with a portobello mushroom on top which is a nice add on option that I don’t see most places. My boyfriend is a big fan of their chicken nachos and frequently requests coming for dinner to fulfill his cravings! Their Mac n cheese is also pretty bomb and I’ve often ordered that as a side to share. Overall — good place, good food and good drinks. Definitely recommend.

I see a lot of mixed reviews. Living 5 min from the Nade we come eat over here a lot. The food has been pretty good but the music is sooooooooo loud most time we come with the intention of eating here and then going somewhere else. Tonight it’s actually a tolerable level. I don’t feel like they are catering to the 40 something crowd that has got to be their bread and butter. I like all music but the loud rap and dance music is just not relaxing. Tonight our waitress is non existent just to get water and another round has been tough. So yeah the service is up and down for sure. Now I’m downgrading — 40 minutes and counting for medium rare cheeseburgers. This will be our last visit.

One of my favorite spots to go last minute! The food is always great, drinks are not always consistent and it truly your experience depends on your server! Lucky for me I’ve had pretty decent servers

It’s a good place. Service and food are good. A little pricey on the beer. I like that they they keep the windows and doors open only problem is they need to figure out a way to get rid of the all the flies.

Eh just ok The restaurant itself is very nicely done — modern gastro pub with inside and outside dining/drinking. Main bar is very large with lots of high tops around and outside lounge seating looks nice but we ate inside on our last trip. The drinks were good — I had a cucumber martini which was nice. They have happy hour discounted drinks daily and discounted appetizers so we opted for appetizers. I had the mussels which were just ok. Tasted like pre-cooked mussels that they warmed in a broth with jalapeños — the broth has no essence of mussels and the mussels had no essence of broth. Hubby had mini bacon cheeseburger sliders which were over cooked(they didn’t even ask the temperature he wanted so assuming one of those places that doesn’t offer the option). My daughter had fried shrimp tempura with a sweet and spicy sauce which she liked but I tasted and the shrimp were definitely frozen not fresh. Also ordered the potstickers which were good but tasted like the frozen ones you get at BJs or COSTCO that you defrost and then brown in a pan. Also most of the items come with some type of spicy sauce so if you don’t like spicy there’s not much here(even the sauce on the potstickers was spicy). The service was great and I imagine the bar probably gets quite busy later in the evening as they are right next to a movie theater.

Wear a sweater or a coat. The a/c blows constantly because the doors are left open. The $ 10 Calamari comes in a paper cone(about ¾ of a cup) was good but 98% tentacles and ice cold after two minutes because the manager refuses to regulate the A/C. I suggest a seat outside. The draft beer selection is pretty huge and ice cold. The bartenders are great. Especially Dominick? He was on the ball, quick and even though he was super busy he still made time for small talk and to make sure everyone was taken care of. Great service. We moved to a table and the service was slower due to the crowd I guess. We ordered a few apps and they were good. Pot stickers, lettuce wraps and fries. This place has a pretty lively atmosphere. Happy hour is from 4 – 7. Great place to unwind.

First time here and learned it is a great place for Happy Hour. The bar setup is very nice and accommodating for groups of people. Not to mention good prices on the appetizers for Happy Hour. And the appetizers are very good. I think we just found our new place for Happy Hours after work. Everyone likes it because we have beer drinkers, wine drinkers and mixed drink drinkers in the group. I wasn’t drinking beer the night I came, but their bar has a huge number of beers on tap. I didn’t count, but it seems like they have more than World of Beer which is directly across from them. Our server, Lorena, handled our table of 10 or so people with ease. Lorena automatically rang each person up on their own tab, which made all of our lives easier. How smart was she to do that automatically? I had the wings which were cooked just right and flavorful. I ordered the hottest they make, which were not that spicy for me, but still tasty. Luckily, I was able to try the meatball appetizer too, which was nicely drenched in sauce and cheese. Great experience. I look forward to coming back for some beer drinking and more eating.

4÷28÷16− Happy Hour! I’ve been to a few Bar Louie locations in Orlando. This was my first time here, came here around 6pm. Great Happy Hour! * ½ wines by the glass * $ 5.25 signature martinis * ½ price select apps and flatbreads I had the Meatballs al Forno, marinara, mozzarella cheese with parmesan crostinis. They came out hot and spicy, just like our server, Lorena, mentioned. I like their bar area and outside seating area. Perfect for this weather!

Hit this place up after I fell victim to hunger during a Friday night shopping extravaganza. Timed it perfect… happy hour, half price on appetizers, $ 5.00 martinis and wine as well as $ 3.25 draft beer. Just a few steps shy of a 12 step program. Started with the SPINACH&ARTICHOKEDIP and TRIODIPS&CHIPS, both excellent! The meal orders hit all the food groups, including those without bones… Hamburger, a bit dry, but was ordered well done. THAICHICKENFLATBREAD — you could actually taste each ingredient, especially the red peppers. Szechwan boneless wings, I’ve always thought that chickens had wings, all of these were devoured. BBQ traditional wings, a best effort of finishing these off, half the plate ended up in a to-go box. A great place to spend the evening, good food & great service, and sit outside if you can.

I noticed this place in the promenade and immediately got excited, it looked new and inviting, plus who doesn’t love a good drink and some bar food. It was a regular Saturday afternoon, the place wasn’t crazy busy but had a decent amount of people inside. Music was playing and it had a good vibe, the person at the door just told us to sit wherever. So we sat in a booth near the kitchen, then the waiting game began. No one came near us for at least 15 minutes, we sat and waited, and waited multiple servers and staff members passed us on their way to and from the kitchen. Then finally a male waiter came over to take our drink orders and at that point I was ready to order our food and speed this process up. My husband and I shared the Mac & cheese which was pretty good and my brother ordered a burger. The food took a while to come out to us and by the time we got it I was just over this place completely. Got our check and left before we were forgotten at our table again. Over all not the best experience hopefully if we decide to give this place another try their staff is a little more attentive.

Sometimes when places are three stars(an okay rating) the reviews are short because they’re okay– and I think this is one of those times. I have always been a big fan of Bar Louie in general. This location is alright. The service can be a little slow, albeit, the servers were friendly and accommodating, but they were still slow. I had the strawberry lemonade sangria which was good in theory but had too much vodka. If you would have given this to me in my early 20’s I would have loved that fact, but I’m 33 now so I need a nice balance. Their apps are pretty good as well: from the hummus to the meatballs, both were enjoyable. This is a great place for a happy hour or a spot to watch the game– whichever one you watch. Overall it was alright. Nothing great, nothing bad. It was okay. Sometimes I don’t mind okay so it worked.

Went to Bar Louie with a friend after dinner last night! We just sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks. I ordered a 420 Sweetwater IPA and my friend ordered a dirty martini. She really enjoyed her martini, it looked delicious! My beer was nice and cold and the 20oz cost only $ 1 more than the 16oz. The ladies sitting next to us at the bar had ordered what looked like a chopped tuna appetizer with some sliced cucumbers on the bottom served with French bread toasted. It looked pretty good, and I noticed a few other tables had ordered the same thing which makes me think that’s a pretty popular item there. I will definitely have to go back there soon and try the food though! Our bartender was really nice and attentive. The place is really hip and was pretty full for a Thursday night!

I’m liking this place the more I go. It has a very lively feel with a modern ambience. Just what the Promenade’s needed. I came here Friday on a game night after dinner & the place was jumping with attractive people. That’s a plus in my book! I love some eye candy while people watching. lol My review is for the service which was very attentive & the drinks which I thought was very refreshing.(LOUIE’S SANGRIA) I’ve only been here for drinks, so far & I’ve enjoyed them both times. Bar None Bar Louie’s has to be one of the best Bars with one of the best foods I have had in a very long time! We were a party of 23 rather noisy folks and definitely a handful to deal with. Our server Ms Sandra was amazing along with her able bodied associate Paul(who shared the same hairstyle as me) and somehow kept it all together and made no flub ups, which was nothing short of a miracle! They were both very pleasant and efficient which is a rare combo! We had a varied assortment of appetizers which we shared and they were all very good! The Tempura Shrimp, The Thai Chicken Flatbread and the Hummus Pesto Hummus Tzatziki were all amazingly good! We all ordered our individual main dishes which included the Pig and Pepper sliders, crispy Calamari, the Voodoo Chicken Platter, the Tuscan Chicken platter, the Drunken Fish and Chips and the Blackened Fish Tacos were all excellent. The portions were generous and several of us had Doggie bags to go! All in all I would highly recommend BL’s if you plan to come here as a couple or a large group! WEWILLDEFINITELYBEBACK!

Honestly, I was a little hesitant to try this place because I’m not a huge fan of the Promenade in general for restaurants or bars. Met with a girlfriend because she loves Bar Louie from going to the ones north of us. We got there about 6 so we had some time before Happy Hour ended. We were also there on a Wednesday which expands the specials even more which made the bill insanely cheap. We got martinis, 2 apps and finished with beers. My girl friend got the sliders and she was upset the Salmon wasn’t blackened and it was missing bacon *a highlight she mentioned* my tab ended up being about $ 18 with 2 martinis during HH and 2 apps that we split and the $ 1.50 draft beers. I will def come back here as a cheap bar spot. And the outside makes for a great place to be with the pup.

I have always heard great things about Bar Louie and I was excited to see the new location open up in the Coconut Creek Promenade. I decided to have my birthday party/happy hour there recently with several of my friends and family. I had emailed them about the large party and the manager called me within 24hrs to get more details and set everything up. He even called me the day of the party to confirm the reservation and even came to the table to introduce himself when I got there, so I was already pretty impressed with the service from the start. We were set up in the back area of the restaurant and pretty much had the entire area to ourselves which was pretty awesome. We were able to push several tables together and have a few table tops set up for the kids so everyone could spread out and be comfortable but still close enough so that everyone was still together to enjoy the party. We had a couple waiters/waitresses assigned to us so we were definitely given a lot of attention. There were a few hiccups and confusions with orders and bills but I will let that slide due to the large number of people and separated checks. For the most part they took very good care of us and made sure everyone had a great time. As far as the food goes I was able to try a few appetizers and I stuck to drinking old Fashions all night(which were a bit weak). I didn’t get a meal(it was my birthday I was drinking and nibbling lol) but I did get to try several things. The hummus, pesto hummus & Tzatziki were one of my favorites. It came with pita, cucumber slices and carrot sticks. I actually liked all 3 but the pesto hummus was my favorite. I tried the veggie flat bread and it was just kind blah, won’t order that again. The meatballs al forno was also a favorite of mine because the sauce is a bit spicy and I wasn’t expecting that but I really liked it a lot I would definitely order that again. I also liked the spinach & artichoke dip and the pot stickers. We also ordered a few rounds of shots and they all turned out great. Despite the bartenders not knowing how to make an Alabama Slammer shot which still confuses me due to the size of the bar and the simplicity and popularity of the shot… but I digress. Overall it was a great time and I had a wonderful birthday. I think Bar Louie still needs to iron out a few kinks in food and service to really live up to their name and other locations great reputations but I think they have potential and hope they do well because the promenade really needed a place like this.

This was my third time at a Bar Louie, and actually my third location. Sadly, there aren’t any closer to my house, because I’d probably go to happy hour every day lol, but this new location is close enough for a work happy hour SCORE! My friend Jennifer S. organized her birthday happy hour here for ~25 people and it went off without a hitch! Great organization by the management, and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back here! PRICE Happy hour is a steal! My total for 3 «martinis» and 3 appetizers was $ 32! I should be coming here daily! SERVICE Service started out a little spotty, but I do believe that is because we had a reservation for 6pm and they didn’t have a server planned for our reserved area until then. Once our servers arrived everything went smoothly. Splitting checks for ~25 people isn’t easy but they handled it, remembered which drinks we wanted when it came time for refills etc etc. Andrew was great, as was our other server(Alexis? I may have made that up lol), and even the hostesses seemed happy and eager to show me to our area when I arrived. Seriously, great staff! DRINK I tried three of their martinis. You know I don’t drink vodka, but they had two rum options and a Maker’s Mark/Hennessy option for me to try! **90 Miles to Florida — this mango/rum drink was pretty much made for me. **Honeydew — another rum option, but I found the midori made it too sweet. **Clover — this was the Maker’s Mark one. Probably the best of the trio! FOOD There were a lot of us, so a lot of sharing. Some things weren’t that great, but for ½ off during HH we weren’t complaining! **Hummus Platter — Very good! I was expecting to love the tzatziki the most, but the pesto hummus was delicious! **Bruschetta — REALLY good! Surprisingly good! **Veggie Flat Bread — meh. Nothing special. **Chicken Parm Sliders — Not the traditional chicken parm with marinara, these were different but awesome! Oh and get the side of tots! **Calamari — kind of blah. Not crispy enough either. **Chicken Nachos — pretty standard.

I’m a fan of Louie. The one in West Palm and Boynton Beach always gave me and my friends a great time. When I popped in last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday, I was excited to see what this one had in store. It’s tucked in the back side of the Promenade Plaza, so you might miss it if you don’t look for it. There’s indoor and outdoor seating with a nice center bar. There are plenty of TV’s to watch from wherever you sit and it’s plenty of room to move around without bumping into one another. Happy hour goes from 4 to 7 p.m. and it’s half off appetizers and drinks. The strawberry peach bellini and 90 miles to Florida were the cocktails I enjoyed sipping on with the cheese quesadilla I had a few bites of. It’s great to go with a group of people and you can share one another’s appetizers. I tried the spinach dip and the bruschetta pomodoro as well. All three of the appetizers I tried were good. There were quite a few rounds of shots that came out during the celebration and two of the ones I had were kamikaze and upside pineapple cake shots. Our waitress kept all of our orders separately and she did an excellent job with accommodating all of us. Most of us were able to sit together at the same table and there were some high top tables that were next to us in case there was more people that came. It worked out well and everyone had a happy hour. Of course, why limit it to an hour? Some continued on with the mighty fine shenanigans well into the evening and the place was happy to serve us for a little while longer.

I’m a big fan of Bar Louie. I’ve been to several locations in different cities. This new location in Coconut Creek just opened in September and is close to where I work and live. So, chances are pretty high that I’ll visit frequently. Plus, it’s in the Promenade at Coconut Creek plaza, which has evolved into a top destination in North Broward. On this particular Friday evening, I met up with family to have some drinks. We found a nice high top table near the bar. The place was packed during happy hour, but stayed pretty full even after happy hour. The service was solid. Our waitress was very attentive even though the place was jam-packed. She was constantly checking in on us and making sure we were okay. The manager stopped by and asked how we were doing, too. To me, the service was top notch. We had two appetizers. Trio dips and chips(salsa, guacamole, queso) and spinach and artichoke dip. The chips are really good. I had two Funky Buddha Floridians, which is my standard beer. Near where we were sitting, there was a point in which they opened up a large sliding glass door, which let in a very pleasant night-time breeze. Plus, it changed the whole atmosphere in a good way. Pretty cool how they have that set up. I’m looking forward to returning. It was a very pleasant night out.
