Food was okay-typical Denny’s. Our waitress, Ashley, was the sweetest! But we constantly could hear the rest of the staff just shouting at her. We witnessed many of the other servers standing around talking while they shouted at Ashley to serve other tables and get food from the kitchen. She appeared to be the only one running around busting her butt! All the other staff need to be fired!!! Completely unprofessional!

Eggs were good, cooked the way I like them, toast was late, but ok, pancakes were old, hard bottom tough, looked like they sat on the plate for a while because they were stuck to it.. service was ok.

Food is always good and service fast and friendly. One major appetite quencher is seeing the guy at bar NOT using gloves and touching the eating end of the utensils to wrap in the napkins, EW!!! Please use gloves.

Denny’s is Denny’s but our experience was less than a 1 star. This place and décor seriously needs updating, but I won’t be back to find out. This review is mainly about the service, which was awful! There were two of us, we were greeted when we arrived and sat right away. The server asked us what we wanted to drink. We ordered a coffee with cream and 2 waters. We looked at the menus and noticed the same server was greeting other people and seating them. He went back and forth behind the counter out onto the floor. He walked by our table 3 times and did not bring us our drinks or acknowledge that our menus were closed as we kept waiting to order. He then walked behind the counter and stood there and did nothing. I kept looking in his direction and he never bothered to look in out direction. Right then a girl came to our table and greeted us. She asked«what would you like to drink? » I let her know that our drink order was taken but we had been forgotten. Well apparently, she was now our server. We ordered our food, then she brought us our drinks. After 10 minutes I had finished my coffee and waited for a refill. The server brought our food and walked away. She checked back about 5 minutes later and asked how our food was. It was okay, and then I asked for more coffee and cream. She said okay and she would be back. Another 5 minutes went by and she checked on us again without bringing any coffee or cream. I asked again for coffee and cream and she said okay. She came back a couple of minutes later with coffee and NOCREAM! She said okay, «I’ll get you some.» I watched her go back behind the counter, open a package of napkins and started visiting with another server. Now give me a break, she had 1 other table right behind us, so she was not busy at all in her section! She kept visiting with the other server. I had to get up and walk to the counter and ask another server for cream. I let this server know I had to ask 3 times and still did not get service. Well, apparently she told the manager. The manager came to our table to apologize about the coffee and cream. Honestly, I do not need a manager to come to apologize, I need a server to do their job! On top of all of this, our waters were never re-filled the entire time we were there. This was an awful display of how this place is run. Tipping this girl even $ 1.00 was way too much. I think management needs to clean house and get employees that care enough to wait on people!

Great family resturant. The food is great and the bathroom baby changing station has liners and a working belt! The burgers are great and the breakfast food is awesome also! Always a winner.

My food took way too long to get here, and was mediocre. Came here as I’ve never been here before just too see how good it was, and it wasn’t good.

Coeur D Alene, ID– I Want to say my waitress was the kindest lady ever! The company around us was not! Denny’s doe’s offer«Amy’s organic«veggie burger, so that was a plus! other than that Coeur D Alene is extremely Racist and you should just drive through it — Midwest vegan over and out…

For Unilocal review 800, I’ll write about a special place. This Denny’s in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is very special. You see, this Denny’s made national news in 2005 where the abducted little girl named Shasta was rescued and her abductor Joseph Duncan was arrested. After the girl was spotted in this Denny’s, some customers and the manager called 911. The Denny’s employees and customers calmly kept Duncan from leaving until the police arrived. The Denny’s employees and customers who acted with their hearts and did the right thing without question, to end this horrific ordeal and save this child, are the REALHEROES. Bless them. Okay onto the review! After we spent the night at a nearby motel, we stopped for breakfast at this Denny’s in Coeur d’Alene, which is open 24 hours. We were seated at a booth and offered fresh hot coffee immediately. My friend had the All American Slam which had three eggs with cheese, bacon, sausage links, hash browns, & toast. I was very hungry and went for the Lumberjack Slam, which had 2 pancakes, ham, bacon, sausage, eggs(I chose Egg Beaters), hash browns, and wheat toast. The portions of food were HUGE, very tasty, and very filling! I love those fluffy pancakes with the scoop of butter and lots of syrup! This is by far the best Denny’s I’ve been to in the country. The food was very tasty plus the service was super friendly and attentive and the hot coffee kept pouring into our cups from the time we sat down until I said no more after 4 big cups. The other Denny’s I’ve been to back in the Northeast are just okay to me. Well, after breakfast, we hit the road and we must’ve stopped around six times for restroom breaks. We had too much food and coffee and we were very wired and buzzing! We were so full that we skipped lunch. Breakfast is definitely the most important meal of the day!
